Truly pleasant breakfast experience this morning at Ronnie's Waffle House. On my way to golf and stopped by this place this morning before my round and I was very happy with my experience. I would difinately come back. Seems very new but I not round this area a lot so not sure. Very clean looking restaurant. I walked in and saw plenty of seats available a counter and as soon as I sat down a waitress, Elizabeth, stopped by with a menu and drink request. She was very upbeat eat and positive. My decaf coffee was delicious... not DD but very close. My omelette, hash browns and bagel were delicious!! Another great perk... they give you your own coffee pot, so no waiting for coffee refills. 5 stars... highly recommend!! read more

Food was very good, plentiful. Western omelette with bacon. Service was 5 stars. Two issues for me. Bright, to bright but that's just me. Other issues was the silverware looks like shanks made at the prison. I hate thin cheap silverware, always have but again just my personal taste. read more

Came here two days after new years for breakfast. Our waitress was very nice and personable. Ordered a Bloody Mary and my cousin got a cocktail, both were good. I only wanted pancakes, two eggs, bacon and home fries and the waitress was nice enough to recommend an order that saved me a few dollars. Also they have maple syrup on the table but if you want a fancier maples syrup they will bring it to you in a small glass bottle. Was in the area (I live on the North Shore, but my Parents live down the street) Me & the kids were hungry & they are breakfast fans so we headed over, Small place and the moment I walked in I felt like the vibe was everyone knew each other so I was slightly expecting that awkward service where people don't know you so its just whatever. I WAS SOO WRONG... All the girls here kicked ass, they were soo cool, and there is nothing better than a Mom server who instantly connects with your kid when they are being 8 and undecided and obnoxious. All the food was GOOD, and not just diner this place is ok good, IT WAS GREAT.. Portions are large, Me & Mom got a Mimosa Flight, they were great also. Waffles are better than an average waffle, but the options are endless! We walked in at 1 (they close at 2) and I apologized profusely for being those people, and we never felt rushed, they were just great. The waitresses socialize way too much and too often with the regulars at the diner bar. It's nice to have a friendly waitstaff but they need to be attentive and prompt with ALL customers. Our waitress was chatty and obsessed with removing sugar packet wrappers and straw wrappers when we first got there and started with coffee and drinks, but she then ignored us for a good 20 minutes when we wanted to pay the bill at the end of the meal. We finally had to flag down a busgirl to pay our check. I'll still go to RW because the food is great but I have to remember it's going to be an exercise in patience when it comes to the waitstaff. It was priced well most menu items were not over $12 and i noticed sides were less than 5 if you just wanted something small. They seemed pretty understaffed so it took a while to order but we didnt mind as we were catching up and wanted a longer brunch. The food came out very quick once we did place the order. I went with my daughter and my son for his birthday and the workers were friendly and gave us our drinks very quickly. When she asked us for our meal order my son asked if they could give him something extra for his birthday and they said they had a really delicious blueberry muffin - they weren't joking, the muffin was absolutely scrumptious. They also let my son AND my daughter have prizes. They even had an outside eating area with an umbrella so we ate out there. The hashbrowns were delicious and the sausages were absolutely scrumptious. They had all different types of jams at the table and the kids meal portions were huge. The place was very clean. Went on a Sunday at 11 and it was slammed ! We ended up lucking out and getting two seats at the bar. Atmosphere is a standard breakfast diner. Fiancé and I opted to get the two special iced coffees to share. We both much preferred the Reese's pieces iced that was amazing. The blueberry strudel tasted too artificially sweet but the presentation was on point. The fiancé got the chicken and waffles - he enjoyed it ! Danny at the breakfast bar was friendly & efficient. Harpers homemade hash was weird. Large tasty potatoes and a tiny bit of finely minced/shredded corned beef. I wouldn't recommend it. Definitely not worth the hype. Went there on Hallowed morning. Even though it wasn't very busy service was very slow and inattentive. Server seemed more worried about her costume than service, couldn't even get a refill of coffee even though the food took almost 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen! It's not very clean, the floor is slippery, the chair legs are all rusted like they were sitting in 8 inches of water for a prolonged time. Even the table where the register is was leaning with bent legs. If the obvious things get so little attention, I can only imagine what happens behind the scenes. The food was mediocre at best. Over easy eggs were over cooked, home fries, burnt and black on one side as if they were left undisturbed on the grill for an hour. The thick ham "steak" was actual a slice of deli ham the same thickness you'd find in a sandwich. The worst was their waffle. Instead of being crisp and crunchy as you would expect a Belgium waffle to be, it was spongy and rubbery so it was either microwaved or severely undercooked. Either way it was definitely not worth the wait or price. We wanted to love this place as we always see it on Phantom Gourmet but it just plain isn't very good. There are too many other really good places for breakfast that seem to understand the basics of the restaurant business... I pay you whatever price you deem appropriate for your food and you provide a properly cooked meal with efficient friendly service. Sorry Ronnie but your breakfast restaurant desperately needs the same attention to detail that Emma's has. read more

My son and I stopped in for our first visit. The one thing I really liked about the place is that it is bright inside, not dark and gloomy like many restaurants these days. When it's bright you can see it's clean. A lot of people working and it was full. He had a breakfast burrito and loved it and I had a western omelet. Service was good and I can probably count on both hands the times I have had a really hot meal (steam) still coming off our food when finishing. Other places are like warm when you get the food. Good first time experience here at Ronnie's waffles. A bit small on the inside but they were able to make a table for the five of us. I got the two eggs breakfast with the waffles add on. Great taste and everything came out hot and fresh , I would suggest making the waffles a bit more crispy but other than that I would actually love to try this place again when I'm back in the area! read more

We've tried this place out twice and at this point won't be going back.. The waffles, both times, lacked any flavor really. They were very bland and considering we spent nearly $50 for two people the meal was disappointing at best. The 'syrup flight' also tasted like perfume, which makes you think they're flavoring the syrups with cheap concentrates. Wait staff was inattentive, too focused on socializing, it's clear there's little to no management at this time. Couple that with the fact that there were flies EVERYWHERE both times (I get it there's a lot of syrup, but come on). I'm disappointed it would be great to have a local waffle restaurant, but I'm not exaggerating when I say you'd be better off making Eggos at home. I really do hope things improve, and if I see it trending that way I'd love to try it again... But at this point I'm not seeing the value. read more

I have tried hard to give them more then a single star, I cannot. How do you promote yourself as a "Waffle" house when your waffles are that bad? How is it even possible to Burn the outside and still have the inside raw? I can't even blame it on being busy, there were 6 people in the restaurant. Waitress was more interested in talking to the "chef" (that's a very questionable title) and watching the football game then to see how things were doing. Been here a couple times. First time was great. This time not as great. Friendly staff however the eggs were undercooked. Ordered over medium they were definitely over east with runny whites, couldn't eat them, ate everything else....
