I took my toddler son here as a walk in appointment. It was easy to get in and we did not have to wait very long. It was wonderful experience, the barber was so patient and detailed. It was definitely the best haircut he has ever had! We will be back! read more

Haircuts are one of a kind. I don't know what everyone is talking about for hours of operation and appointments. It's a barbershop. Call her and find out what the day is like. It can change. She keeps her book for appointments but will tell you to have a seat if she thinks she can manage you as a walk in. If you want a service help yourself out and call her and make the appointment. She's got sports on and a nice clean shop. Now another employee has started and can help her with the flow of patrons. If you sit in her chair it'll be more than with it. The frustration comes from other patrons because they walk and have an expectation and are not regulars. This is not a drive through. She will accommodate if she can. Love the shop! read more

I went in for a hot towel, straight razor shave. The experience was FANTASTIC!!! My barber was Ari. She did a great job. I'm a woman & I've wanted to shave my head for years. I'm finally doing it. The hot towel was so soothing and relaxing. The shaving foam was minty and penetrating. Then she massaged my head and shoulders with a padded vibrating massage tool. It was exquisite. My head is squeaky clean, smooth and soothed. Thank you for a fantastic first time experience. Anyone wanting this service should go here. I highly recommend this barber shop. read more

Didn't realize, but this place is appointment only. No walk in. The lady I spoke with was very polite though. On to the next.

Why don't you put a sign on the front door saying "NO WOMEN ALLOWED". I walked in today looking for a quick buzz/cut. There was a man getting a cut but nobody else in the giant waiting area. I asked if I could get a trim, the woman asked if it was for me, I said yes. She quickly responded "Sorry but we don't do haircuts on women here". I wasn't dressed in a feminine way, black coat, work pants, work boots. I'm not sure why she would be making assumptions on what gender her customers are, there are many different gender identities. There are a lot of women who have short hair and get mens cuts and would rather have the barbershop experience instead of the salon wash and all of the dramatic chit chat that goes along with it. I found another barber who had no problem trimming my hair, getting paid for the cut and also receiving a generous tip. I will never recommend this place! read more

Figured I'd try out the new barber place in town. Huge waiting area with four barber chairs but only currently manned by one employee. She actually did a really good job though. Very thorough, would show mirror to check progress, took her time, and uses good products. Had sports on and was playing a 70s/80s playlist which was better than listening to the radio. It's cash only and pretty pricey ($30.00 as of this writing for a haircut) but well worth the wait. read more

Ronny's barber shop has gone above beyond. Tonight I had the blessing of having Ronny cut my hair. This man is amazing. It is rare you get someone who cares about their trade and craftsmanship. Top notch. He is beyond attentive. Quality is something that is rare but Ronny's has done nothing but provide it. From their eagle river location to the anchorage. I have left beyond happy each time. I will not go to another barbershop as long as Ronny is cutting hair. read more

Stopped by Sunday for a walk-in, was advised they were booked for appointments the remainder of the day. I was advised to call or text the Business number to schedule an appointment, I have called and texted with no response for 4 days (Crickets), I will go back to my old stand by! read more
