This was a large job that spanned two days, and I was impressed that they left the site clean and prepped at the end of day one versus just stopping in the middle. The word that comes to mind when I write about Roof Medic is impressive. From the first experience with the sales person, Bryon Morris, to when the last ladder was placed on the truck and they were done, I was very impressed. When we were going through this process, I thought all roofing companies were the same. I found out real fast that was terribly mistaken. My wife and I both had selected a roofing company. My wife had selected Roof Medic and I chose another company and we had them both come on the same day and it was no contest. Bryon was on time, professional, not at all pushy and he really knew his product. He first got on the roof and then he got his drone out and got the pictures that confirmed we had the wind damage. When the company I chose, showed up 10 minutes late, without a ladder and smelling of some kind of herb, I knew Roof Medic was getting our business. The process was smooth. Bryon was there when our adjustor came and pointed out the damaged areas and the adjustor got on the bottom rung of the ladder and said, "Ok, I'll cut the check". When the date was set, Bryon said that Dave Montroy and his crew would be there at 7 am. I was very impressed to see they were in my driveway at 6:45am. The crew got right to work and they were like a swarm of bees. They were on all different areas of the house and they had the entire house de-shingled in less than 2 hours. There was some miscommunication with repairing wood rot, between Dave and Bryon due to our house getting moved up a few weeks due someone cancelling but Roof Medic made it right. I was able to talk Dave early in the morning and he was upfront with what they were going to do to fix the repairs and made me feel comfortable when he told me about his guys' experiences. The crew was amazing. They only stopped to eat and once they finished their section they moved to help out in other areas. I was most impressed when they were finished. I went around the house to find debris and I was unable to locate a single nail or wrapper. They had everything looking as good as it was before they came. Thinking of Roof repair? I have one word for you - "Drip Edge." OK. Maybe it's 2 words. But I had no idea what it was and how important it is until I met Roof Medic. I called RM after we noticed a leak in our roof. Pat Marks came out crawled all over the roof. Inspected and took tons of photos to help explain what he found.. Turns out Hail damage and missing drip edge were two immediate concerns. Pat Marks was amazing. He made the entire process effortless. He handled the paperwork, permits, researching codes, and insurance. He was even on-site to meet with insurance inspectors. He walked me through replacement options and outlined the entire process. He was very responsive and polite. Roof Medic communicated throughout the project. Especially what to expect, when the crew would be working and what they would do. I was amazed with the amount of photos everyone was sharing with me throughout the project. Roof medic discovered and repaired 3 major damaged areas caused by hail. I had no idea that hail could lead to so much damage. The crew was amazing. The moved all outdoor furniture, grill, planters, etc out of the way. The covered the house with protective black sheeting and plywood as they worked each section. They even covered the ground with a "skirt" to catch debris and nails. I'd say that they left the yard and patio better then they found it. Daniel Clark was our lead supervisor on the project. I appreciate him on site during and after the project to do a preliminary walk through. Pat Marks scheduled a second (thorough) inspection to wrap up the project. This is an amazing company. My salesperson was Brock. He didn't feel like a salesman. He didn't try to sell us anything which is a plus. He was professional from the moment he walked through our doors. He took pictures of our roof, found the entries of our leaks, and explained their procedure in detail. Once we gave the go to start it was one of the easiest big transactions I've gone through. The production team manager called to say they were ready to start. Brock kept in touch with us (even while on vacation) every step of the way. The production team was amazing and professional as well. We hit a minor hiccup. By the time I reached out to Brock it was solved. My beautiful roof was completed within two days. The estimated quote given at the start of the project was exactly the same on the final invoice. This is huge because our roof was started about two months after the initial price was quoted (there were others in front of us). They could have said prices increased as other companies have done but they didn't. Since Brock was on vacation during the installation of our roof, he stopped by to look at the finish product and to follow up with any issues we might have (there weren't any). I've referred this ethical company to my neighbors and friends. I don't usually give reviews, but this company is worth my time. The Roof Medic has been a dream to work with from the start to finish. I had never had to deal with roof issues until we discovered a leak in multiple locations in our house. All of the other roofers that we dealt with were unhelpful and barely took the time to even look at our roof as they just wanted to file a claim with insurance and be done with it. However, from the first time we had Bryon come out we could tell that we had actually got someone who cared. They helped us identify what caused the damage, educated us on the damage and even helped us submit the issues to Insurance. This really was key to the experience - knowing that someone was there to help you and wasn't just there for the money. The actual roof repair went quickly and I was truly amazed at how at the end of day there was absolutely no sign (minus a beautiful roof of course) that they had been there. On June 30th we noticed a hole in our roof which came from hail and wind damage. Roof Medic evaluated the old roof and did a temporary patch. Later they came out and removed the old GAF roof and replaced it with a new GAF UHD. They identified areas of rot in the underlayment and cut out the old wood replacing it before adding a new underlayment rubber membrane in the valleys and waterproof synthetic 'felt' over the whole roof. Then came the UHD GAF shingles (in Appalachian Sky) and what GAF calls a cobra vent cap system. The removed all the old flashing and replaced it with new flashing including new flashing kits around the three skylights we had. It took 2 days of hard work but the roof never looked better. The roof medic kept me informed throughout the project sending pictures as the progress continued. They kept the site and my yard clean and picked up after themselves even sweeping the ground for metallic debris (eg - old roofing nails) with a magnet. All documents were processed electronically. All in all an excellent job from start to finish. My house is large with a complex design but they completed it without a hitch. I would recommend Roof Medic without reservation. read more

Our field rep, Pat, was always availiable and quick to respond. His communication skills are outstanding. He took full responsibility for every aspect of the project. Never once did he "finger-point" or "pass the buck." What impressed us the most was the attention to detail. Our home, landscaping and surrounding property were protected from any damage that can occur when removing an old roof and installing a new one. Nightly clean up was part of their crews routine. Our project included gutters, downspouts, leaf guards, skylights and a copper roof over the main entrance. The workmanship on all aspects was first class! It all looks great...no flaws whatsoever! After trying unsuccessfully to resolve a leaking roof issue with the company that installed my roof, I contacted Roof Medic owner, Jordan Cox, to inspect my roof. He spent two hours inspecting outside on the roof and inside in the attic, taking photos to show me what was wrong. I hired Roof Medic immediately to repair the leaking roof in view of the fact that the original roofing company refused to pursue further inspection of the roof. That is another story. Our home insurance company referred us to The Roof Medic to inspect our roof for possible wind and hail damage. After Pat Marks met with the catastrophic insurance adjuster to inspect our roof, it was confirmed that we had a lot of damage that we were unaware of. As I was not familiar with the process for filing a claim with my insurance company, Pat Marks basically did all the work for me. He told me step by step what would happen; within a matter of weeks our roof was replaced. What I liked about The Roof Medic was the communication between myself and Pat. Starting with our experience with Bryon Morris (sales guy), to the project manager (David Montroy) as well as the entire work crew who came to our home and put our new roof on. We had extensive wood rot which included the fascia, 2x4 underneath in some spots and the soffet. These were unexpected repairs that were encountered at the last minute. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Roof Medic! I had a leak around a vent pipe on the roof. I called Roof Medic after I determined the boot around the pipe wasn't leaking. Julian came out to investigate the problem. I was fully expecting to hear that I needed a new roof, but that wasn't the case. Julian diagnosed the issue and FIXED it!! Not only that but he educated me about how to tell when the roof would need replacing, and a few other things I could do to prolong the roof I have.
