Starting with the initial phone call, he wouldn't set a specific appointment and I felt his professionalism was lacking. Anyway, he called when he was in the area and asked to come out. He was my third estimate. So, I had seen what other roofers did as an inspection. No one else went up on the roof with a tape measure; very old school, and not desirable. This is the kicker: when we talked about financing he said he only takes cash! He's old definitely old school! I'm sorry to say if I hear the Southern accent in regards to a business transaction from here on I'll pass. He's not the first native Georgian to come to my home and say this. We're talking about a lot of money! The thinking is backward! No one with any sense does business this way!!!

Dale Shoemaker is one of the owners and came to our house to evaluate. He went on our roof as well as into our attic to see if there was any major damage or possible issues due to hail or wind. While one of the people who quoted said there was wind damage, Dale was very honest and said some of the roofing tiles were extremely worn as shown by the amount of particles in the gutters. What I really liked about him is that he said "honestly you can probably get 1-2 more years on this roof without any issues". No hard closing. He offered us extended warranties and could start as soon as we received approval from our POA. His price was reasonable and in the ballpark of others. They take credit cards, but also charge an additional 3% for that service. Brody from RGR called my wife once we had an approval to set up the job. The first thing they did was deliver the materials to our home and drop it on a pallet. Once they started the job, there were between 8-10 workers onsite. In one day, they fully demoed the roof, repaired any damaged plywood, layed down the protective layer and started applying the roof. They were completely done in less than 1 and a half days. The second day, they finished and detailed some of the corners and overhang. They went around the yard with their large magnet to collect any loose nails.
