A couple of area on the exterior of the house was left unpainted. The stairs were not stained properly and there was absolutely no landscaping done. I've had to call a plumber a couple times during the first year to correct mistakes made during installation. I contacted Mr Rim and he told us that he would send someone to finish the areas that we had problems with but no one ever showed up. I would not recommend this contractor.

We believe the construction to be sound as far as the walls, foundation and roof. However, much of the finish work was done poorly, i.e. rough, unsanded trim, trim that was not painted at all, very poor paint "touch-ups" that stand out like you put a floodlight on them. The worse thing has been the fireplace. We still haven't been able to use it after 3-1/2 years. We've been told by 2 gas companies that the line coming out of the house is too close to points of ignition, i.e. an outlet and the outdoor A/C unit. Also, we told Mr. Rim that we DID NOT WANT to use ventless gas logs, and he made the fireplace to be used with ventless gas logs. My husband said, "Well, we can burn wood instead." NO, we can't because Mr. Rim DID NOT put a chimney on our fireplace. Who does that? So, we have a fireplace that we can't even use. At the time of construction, we had issues because the stone that was used for the fireplace did not match the sample that we saw at the stone place. We went back and forth with the stone place and with Mr. Rim, but instead of trying to satisfy their customer, the stone place and Mr. Rim ghosted us. I would recommend him as a builder, BUT write up every little thing that you expect and have him sign it!! Very important!! He will tell you that he wasn't supposed to do something when we had documentation that showed he was. He needs someone to keep track of details for him. I'm ready just to tear out the fireplace and have wallboard installed. Sad, because I love a fire when it's cool and I love to decorate the mantle for Christmas.

Anyway... Ive been living in this apartment complex since 2012; moved from a one bedroom to a three bedroom in 2013. My husband are moving out of this apartment complex ONLY because we are purchasing a house. Positive: 1) Convenience. 800 feet from the gate 2) Gated; relatively safe. 3) Speedy response to work-orders 4) Friendly staff 5) Spacious apartments. Seriously there aren't too many nice complexes in Hinesville, GA. If you are anything like me and would drop dead before you live in an (insert explicative here)-hole, this is where its at. 6) The e-key is awesome... so no picking locks here. 7) Cute pool, small but useful gym. 8) Fireplace and grill at the pool. Negative: 1) A little pricey. If you are a single-enlisted Soldier (E5 and below, 2LT and 1LT) this may be outside your affordability depending on how much time in service you have. 2) Pet policy. There is no where in the lease that states you must have only two pets. But if they come in your apartment and see more than two, they will enforce this unwritten rule, and YES, THEY WILL SERVE YOU AN EVICTION NOTICE IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY. 3) Parking. If you live one one side 600 building you don't really have parking spots designated for you. When my husband and I were in the one-bedroom, we parked across the street where the mailbox is. 4) Walls are thin. Depending on the consideration of your neighbor you may have some issues from time to time but thats apartment living for you. 5) Some people don't know how to use the trash compactor, and sometimes the compactor gets full or there is a malfunction so there is a sea of trash-bags all outside the compactor.. especially on the weekends. The good thing is that it doesn't stay that way very long. PET LOVERS galore live here! You will get to know people here just because of their dogs. I would say the dog-to-human ratio is probably 2:1. The downside is that some owners won't clean up after their dogs. But don't blame the leasing department; just report these people and they will be charged a fine. SO! Make sure you can afford this place when you sign those dotted lines... so you you don't have you in-laws getting on yelp feeling the need to make uneducated reviews.

However, the materials are dirt cheap and corners will be cut. Your new home will begin to disintegrate within weeks of your closing! I can't tell you how many times I've had someone out to repair dozens of enormous cracks lining my walls and ceilings. And guess what? They're still appearing! It's because they didn't even bother to tape the joints in the drywall! I recently had to fight off effing wasps that had invaded our guest bathroom because Dryden's team didn't even bother to put a vent cap on the exterior of the house, which allowed bugs to come in through the exhaust fan. I could go on and on. I invite anyone considering purchasing a Dryden home to come to The Villages at Limerick here in Midway. Knock on someone's door. Any door! Pick any random house and ask the owner for their experience with Dryden. Bring snacks, because you're going to be there a while! HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL / DOES NOT WARRANTY WORK…read more I hired Alex to fully renovate our newly bought 2300 square-foot house, including new floors, walls and ceilings and a few other small projects and paid him over $25,000. He and his team did an OK job but the problems we soon discovered were: 1) they had used the wrong paint on the doors and all of the door started appealing within a few weeks. 2) Also, they came back to touch up the walls but used the wrong finish paint and now the house is full of spots that reflect with light. 3) However, the real issue is he was also hired to paint/epoxy the garage floor. Unfortunately, it started peeling within months and then he told me it was because we had an EV and we did not tell him about it. After consulting with Sherwin-Williams rep, they said that was not the problem. It was not finished right. Alex said he would warranty the work and came out to patch up some of the spots that were peeling. Those spots quickly peeled right up. On top of this, Alex had asked me to fully remove everything from our garage, which took me over five hours to move by myself. He then told me he would be coming back later to fully refinish the floor in which I needed to remove everything from the garage once again. I had moved everything outside and wrapped it with tarps as it was raining that week and he never showed up. So I had to move ALL of our items both out of the garage and back in for no reason. I have back issues with the pending back surgery and after this I could not walk for three days. He then told me he would be coming out at a later time (Third time visit ) to fix the floors and for me to again to remove all the items. I did not do any moving this time knowing he has not showed up before and once again he did not show up. At this point in time, he does not answer any of my messages and has also stopped responding to the Sherwin-Williams paint rep who provide all the materials and he said he needs to do the job right. Based on the not best quality of work and the fact that he simply does not warranty his work and will stop answering your emails - I would highly recommend to find another dependable contractor. I will no longer be working with Alex again.
