Quite possibly the best experience I've had working with a business such as this. Will did a roof inspection a couple of years ago and there were no issues at the time - fast forward to early March 2026 and we have water dripping from a recessed light. I emailed Will and he got back to me over a weekend; he also provided my info and the issue to George who also called me over the weekend. George scheduled Alex and Joe to do some detective work to see if they could find the issue, Alex is a water-leak bloodhound, issue(s) identified. Alex and Joe came back last Friday and addressed the issues they had identified and also did some extra work to repair an area where they found 5 layers of shingles. Roofsmart will tell you that they are not the cheapest outfit in the roofing business, and they aren't kidding, however, you will not find a more thorough, more skilled group of workers anywhere, at any price. Our project involved rerouting our power service, replacing our roofing system with standing seam metal and installing solar panels, all on a tight timeline. Their "meticulous roofing nerd" examined the existing conditions, was very thorough in scoping the roofing aspect of the project and constructed the quote with us item by item. The roofing work took an unexpected turn, but the crew worked hard to keep the project on schedule. Ultimately, the entire project went well. Quality of construction is vitally important with roof systems, and while the work cost a bit more than we had anticipated in the end, we are very confident in the end product and very happy with the value we received. We've been putting off this major reroof/attic ventilation & insulation project for years, but RoofSmart helped us finally make it happen. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend RoofSmart! Annette started things off by dedicating a LOT of time and effort into providing us with an extremely detailed proposal for this wide scope of work. During that process, she helped guide us on some elements of the project we were less sure about (such as options to consider for enhancing our attic ventilation or considerations for skylights versus solar tubes) and caught a variety of items that the other bids we received made no mention of (meaning they either wouldn't have been done OR would have come with a mid-project change order). Annette was amazing. Jose was our foreman once the work was under way, and it was great working with him and his team. We have three adults (at home most days), a toddler and two indoor cats, but in spite of all the work going on we never felt like we had to hide away in the basement or live/work elsewhere for the week. There were also surprisingly few curveballs that came up during the project (again, nice detailed work up front by Annette!) and the only big "change order" was something that both Annette and Jose warned us could come up, so it wasn't a surprise: additional sheathing boards were identified as needing replacement once the old roof was removed. When some potential revisions came up to some of the original details, Jose walked us through our options and answered all of our questions. Once the work was generally complete, Omar did a final walk with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied (and also to make sure everything was completed to HIS satisfaction!) and scheduled a team to come out to resolve a couple last punch items. Finally, Andrew and Katie at the RoofSmart office helped us with scheduling and close-out, including answering a good number of additional questions from us. Thank you, RoofSmart! The roof looks amazing, we're really enjoying the solar tubes and we're so happy to finally have the attic cleaned out, properly ventilated and re-insulated. Our home is coming close to 20 years now. I contacted RoofSmart to get an estimate of what it would cost to replace it for us. Chris Koenig from the company showed up to our home. He went through Attic and did an inspection of the roof. He looked at the state of the roof and gave me details of all the things that we should watch out for. Eventually, we came to conclusion that the roof need not be replaced right now and I could wait at least a few more years before we would have to make the move. Overall, I am very happy about the service and thanks to Chris, I am very inclined to go back to them to get the service done through them. read more

Had them come out to troubleshoot humidity issue in attic. Annette came out, did a thorough walkthrough in attic and roof, share a bunch of pictures and videos, even found a roof leak, gave sound suggestions and advice on ways to fix the ventilation in the attic. My wife and I used Roof Smart for our roof and are very happy we did. We got 3 bids and Roof Smart was not the cheapest but we felt they provided the best total solution for our specific needs. The rep came out and took his time and did many checks in our attic and roof. He was knowledgeable and I felt good about choosing them. Our roof was scheduled out a couple weeks so they got started pretty quickly. Their crew was very professional and did great work. They cleaned up at the end of each day and brought their own port a potty. They worked diligently throughout the day and got everything done in 3 days. We have a large rambler which equates to a large roof and attic. Our attic is very complicated with lots of difficult to ventilate areas. I interviewed several roofing companies to replace our architectural composition with a standing seam metal roof. Many of the roofers were pleasant and seemed to know their stuff, but only 1 roofer went into the attic. I didn't feel comfortable with any of the companies because no one made a big deal of adequate ventilation, so I reached out to 1 additional roofing company: Roofsmart. They were very responsive, came out quickly, and not only went into the attic the easy way thru our garage, but also crawled in thru a trap door above our master bath. After spending 15 minutes in the attic, Annette, Chris and I had a discussion concerning proper attic ventilation. They then said they were going to go back to the office and come up with a plan. They came back about a week later and spent several hours reviewing the plan, which was pretty involved. They also said they wanted to have a healthy air specialist review the plan onsite so they came back out with him. After additional input, they tweaked the plan. I then had them come back to the house to review everything with my husband who wasn't available for the 1st couple of onsite visits. They then submitted a proposal which was very comprehensive. We felt very comfortable with everything, although they were the most expensive by far. But there was so much more involved than other proposals. Once we approved, Pedro and his crew come out and started the project this past January. Wow, what hard workers!! They arrived by 7:15 am most mornings and worked into the darkness. Had a couple of hiccups: moldy plywood and insulation above the vaulted ceilings. Because they replaced all of that plywood and we wanted new insulation, the project went longer than expected which impacted the permit being issued. They kept plugging away and eventually the roof was done! Can't say enough about Pedro and his crew working in the very cold weather and not stopping day after day until completed. Roofsmart has 1 crew for the roof and sent a second crew to do the gutters and install our wood look aluminum soffit. Omar, our project manager, communicated if something came up so I knew when or if a crew couldn't make it. Very impressed! read more

Great roofing job completed by the crew at Roofsmart! Our roof was a bigger project than originally anticipated but the guys got the job done smartly and safely. The crew was pleasant to work with and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed, whether it was the removing/repair of the roof itself or the daily clean-up process before they left for the day. We're very happy with the new gutters and leaf filters installed by RoofSmart. Clean install and very nice crew. Everything was exactly as I expected and with a very rainy week since the install I'm happy to say everything is functioning well. Jim also did a roof inspection, during which I learned a lot and notably, he didn't urge me to replace my 18-year old shake roof. Rather, he advised me on what to watch for, how insurers and banks react to the age of a roof nowadays, and what inflation and tariffs have done to roof costs in recent years. Any home remodeling/repair, big or small, can be a major disruption (and expense) for the homes inhabitants. Realizing that, I set out to find a local roofing company that understands all of the concerns a homeowner has when embarking on a big project - we needed the entire thing (decking,etc) removed and replaced. I shopped around, had some bids and no one made me feel as confident and comfortable about this project like Will of Roofsmart did. I followed Will around as he got up in the attic and inspected every nook and cranny- took tons of pictures, went on roof - took measurements and tons of pictures. Then he sat down with us and explained in detail everything they would need to do, the cost of everything, the materials they offer, the process of applying those materials, what the home owner needs to do to prepare for (noise, securing breakables, covering areas that will temporarily be exposed) , answer any questions and concerns and finally, reveal the cost of entire project (which was fair and competitive). Before the crew arrived, Omar (project manager) introduced me to Jose, the crew lead, to go over any final details/concerns. The crew...I cannot say enough about the crew. Four guys that are respectful of property, are efficient and highly skilled. They worked as one. Stellar work ethic. Do what needs to be done fast and efficient. Major props to these guys...and Will , Omar and Andrew. Everyone was so accommodating and understanding. There is the right way to do things and a wrong one. It's your roof- everything flows downward- it needs to be done the right way. Roofsmart proudly refers to themselves as "roof nerds". Let them obsess about roofing so you don't have to. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and sensitive to my concerns and questions. Everything developed just as they described. The roofers came forward right on time. These guys called me in response to a posting I made on another service site -- after a delay of about 3 weeks. I was reluctant to ask them to bid because, in my mind, the delay indicated an apathy toward pursuing the business. But, I let them talk me into receiving their bid, in part because the owner would be the guy making the bid. I thought this guy will have a vested interest as the owner. Well, bid day came and I sat and wait for about 45 minutes past the scheduled time. There was no communication, apprising me that he would be late -- nothing. At the point, because I had things going and I had no idea when this joker might show (The owner - remember) I called the dispatcher and told her to reach the guy and tell him not to come. She tried to dissuade me from cancelling to which I replied, "If this is the way the owner is going to treat a quote, I have no reason to believe the job will go any differently. Tell him not to come." Am I too harsh? I don't think so. Life happens, I know that, clogged freeways, traffic accidents, a variety of things out of our control. The issue is he had a cell phone and he had my contact information. Courtesy requires that he contact me to let me know the problem. I could have rolled with that. His lack of customer service cost him the opportunity to bid, nothing else. The saving grace is, I found out about his level of care, BEFORE committing to a job from an apathetic company owner. I am thankful for that. read more
