Cool concept in downtown Bonita Springs. Bars located on first and second floor with seating on patio, at bar, or overlooking downtown. Can get hot since they have all the windows open and didn't feel like A/C on. Live music near food trucks but can't hear it from indoors. Lots of TVs with sports games playing. Wish they had some music playing for background noise because it is awkward for a bar setting. Food trucks - only food available here! You have to order from the food truck and get a buzzer for when it's ready. I would recommend that riverside provide signs to put at your seat so when you go and grab food you can leave your seat (and drink safely) otherwise seats are taken. It can be a hassle to carry more than one tray back indoors to your seat. If you have more than one tray, you will need more people to help you carry. Food is good but expect to pay restaurant style prices. Burger with side of fries and dessert of cinnamon donut bites from Butcher's BLVD was $30. Curry chicken with side of plantain from Reggae Kitchen was $20. Burger was very tasty and sauce was delicious! Donut bites were a bit hard (tasted like deep fried maybe) and the real whipped cream melted by the time we could eat them after our meal due to the heat. Drinks - we never had a bartender or server approach so ordered from the bar. We ordered a margarita flight so the bartender did bring it to our table. It was delicious! About $20, so reasonable for 4 mini sized drinks. They have an elevator available to the second floor. Wish they had online ordering available for food trucks like Backyard Social. This venue is the smartest thing I've ever seen...a food truck park with an indoor air-conditioned bar with ample seating inside, outside and on the upstairs deck. The four food trucks are varied, well-staffed, and though there is often a wait for food, you're not standing around on a line which is awesome. You get a little buzzer so you can go drink and dance to the live music while you wait. We went on a Saturday night and didn't know what to expect, but we got a seat right away at a picnic table outside. I loved the seafood truck and their Shrimp & Chips. My friends ate at the pizza truck which offers gluten free options. So cool! The inside bar was clean, service was fast, and they even had roaming drink servers for the picnic tables. Rooftop at riverside is a great addition to old 41. They have a full bar and plenty of drink options to choose from. They also have a few food trucks like French, bbq, seafood, pizza and ice cream. I like most of them, but it would be nice if the menus changed a little bit. I feel like I've eaten the same thing every time I've been there because the menus never change. Also, I would love it if they closed the windows every once in a while. It gets REALLY hot inside when the windows are open all the time. Stopped by to check out this venue. It was early evening, so we were the only customers for a while. We sat outside upstairs, and ordered two of their "signature cocktails." The drinks were ok, but over-priced. The server was very friendly and helpful. Would like to try it again to perhaps try the food trucks. read more

What a fun spot in downtown Bonita Springs! An area dedicated to local food trucks, with tables on the ground and on the roof top, lots of seating options to take food, drinks and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner outdoors! Nice food selection, a bit of everything, from pizza, to Bbq, to French crepes, ice-cream and so on. Hip area, many places to seat at, they have games around, clean restrooms, everything you need. Food has a tad higher prices, but you encourage local small businesses. A nice variety of food options, chill, relaxing vibe. I loved the space they created here, it solves a major problem, because I always wonder once I get food from a truck, where am I gonna eat it? Sometimes you can't find a table, but the Rooftop at Riverside solves the issue, encouraging everyone to sample the food from one of their many choices. We only got as far as the bar . The make bartender was beyond distant to us - a party of 6 no less . After having a few beers and drinks - 2 each . His attitude just got worse as if we were bothering him . We intended on having munchies and staying awhile. The bartender alone made us go somewhere else . So bland, I asked for some spices to give it pizzazz. "You ordered a vegetarian dish. It will be bland." What? Vegetarian food can be amazingly tasty. Flavorings come from spices. I asked for SOMETHING. And was given some jerk sauce. FYI: this was the only vegetarian item on the menu that wasn't appetizer. FYI: Myers favorite restaurant in Utah IS a Jamaican restaurant and I eat Rasta Pasta often. Lots can be improved here. First and last time there. Sat at the bar and waited for 15 minutes to be served. The bartender saw us and still never took our order. There were only 7 other people at the bar and they all have been served. It seemed it was more important for 4 employees to have a conversation than do there job. Good drinks but false advertising ... went for Weds where if you bring a dog it's half price drinks. We asked what was covered and the bartender said everything on the menu. Rooftop at Riverside is such a gem! We visited and decided to try Butchers Blvd, and WOW--absolutely no regrets. The Glazed Donut Smash Burger was out of this world--sweet, savory, and perfectly cooked. Next time, I'm definitely trying their Tenderloin Tip Frites! Although the rooftop was closed for a private event, we found a great spot outside near the bar. I originally wanted a flight, but the bartender let me know they no longer offer them--however, she went above and beyond and made one for me anyway! That small act of kindness made my entire night. I wish I caught her name because she was amazing! Between the great food, awesome service, and cool atmosphere, I'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

They have a lot of cocktail options, we tried the Spicy Margarita, Pina Colada and Piper's Haven. Highly recommend the Spicy Margarita. I really wanted to try the Margarita flight but they could not make it. The bartender, Harrison took excellent care of us. I went with a group of people, we had a fun time and enjoyed the live music which was a great Reggae band. Every Sunday 5-8pm. It's a good sized venue, with inside and outside seating across two levels. There are two large bars, one on the first floor and an identical one on the second story. I sat at the second story bar initially, it was air conditioned and we could hear the band very well. The second story also has outdoor seating overlooking the street which would be nice on a cooler day or at night. We moved to the lower outside level and liked the efficient and nice waitresses that took our drinks orders. If you want food, you have to go to food trucks yourself. There were four there but we didn't order food. A new spot to check out. I'm sure it will really blossom as time goes on and become "the go to spot". read more

Really cool atmosphere. My sister and I decided to get food from OCN Seafood. We shared the shrimp melt and grouper bites. The melt had really great flavor and perfectly toasty bread with plenty of cheese. The grouper bites were fried to perfection, not greasy at alll and the citrus tartar sauce was delightfully bright. We ordered a ahi tuna bowl from the OCN Seafood Co truck. The price was a little high for us so we split a portion. The tuna was a little tougher than is should be and the edges were not crisp but it tasted fine paired with a good slaw and a small portion of quinoa. Service was reasonable, we were sitting upstairs but had to go down and wait at the truck because they weren't sure the beeper range was good. Sitting on the street side rooftop was a pleasant open air experience, and our table had an umbrella but not all did. The wait staff upstairs was friendly and responsive. read more

Last week we decided to check out Rooftop at Riverside. It's an attractive venue right in the heart of downtown Bonita Springs directly across from the bandshell in the park. I checked out all the trucks and decided on OCN SEAFOOD. I got the Ahi Tuna Salad and it was delicious, although it could have used a bit more dressing. We walked up the outdoor stairs to eat on the second level, but the door was locked. So we went inside and accessed the rooftop area that way. Our waitress was prompt and very friendly. Service was excellent. It was a beautiful sunny day and a lovely change for lunch. The only negatives were the incessant bees around our drinks and food and the traffic was very loud. read more

Second time here. First time was right after grand opening and we just had drinks . This time was super disappointing. There are no speakers in outside patio areas so you do not get to listen to the music. Also, we seated ourselves and my husband went to the bar to get our drinks. A server came and introduced himself and I said my husband went to the bar and he asked if I could stop him. He then went and got my husband and told him "this is how we make our living" and my husband explained that he was just doing what we did previously when we had come. We had a burger and fries from Butcher Blvd food truck which was super underwhelming. We make better burgers at home and quite frankly the $20 we spent was definitely NOT worth it. Ordered same beer twice and definitely got 2 different drafts as they looked and tasted completely different. We also told the girl we would be paying cash after she had multiple issues with our credit cards and she still charged it on our card. We will not be back for awhile. What started out as a lovely day looking forward to a nice time quickly went downhill. Went to Riptide brewery after and they were not familiar with the bay shore blondie that we were sold at rooftop. Order your food from a great selection of food trucks, find a place to sit (will need more outdoor tables when busy), flag down a server and get your drinks ordered, pick up your food and enjoy! Our shrimp Po Boy was four large succulent fried shrimp while the rest of the sandwich left a bit to be desired. The shrimp melt was fabulous. Fries were tasty, but on the verge of cold. Great food and drinks! We got the shrimp melt from the seafood food truck and the fried chicken sandwhich from the american food truck. Both were very good. The atmosphere was also really cool however we got there an 1 & 1/2 hours before closing and they closed down 40 minutes early. My boyfriend & I wanted to hangout and try some mini golf but by the time we finished eating they had pulled up the mini golf and corn hole. There was still about 5 other groups there too. read more
