Definitely a bummer because I love horchata so I was looking forward to having it with my meal. My driver actually forgot it, but brought it back so I had to make an extra trip down to my hotel lobby for it as well, though of course that is not the fault of the restaurant. It arrived kind of lukewarm as well. I'm still sipping it as I write this review, but it was definitely a huge disappointment. Overall, I would order from this restaurant again if in the area, but I would probably try the quesadilla or something else from the menu.

We must have waited 25 minutes or so for our food to be delivered. And during this long wait, our server never approached us. Even if there was only one cook in the kitchen, we think it should have come out quicker. Again, the saving grace was the food itself.

The attitude throughout the night was very clear: "what you see is what you get." By the time the food arrived, we were so uncomfortable that we simply asked for boxes and left. That says everything. I can't say whether race played a role, but I can say the environment was unwelcoming, the service was terrible, and the food experience did not make up for it at all. Based on the many similar reviews I've since seen, this seems to be a pattern--not a one-off experience. I would not recommend this place unless major changes are made to both customer service and food quality.
