We got here before 10 pm to celebrate a birthday. The vibes were fun at first. We got free admission, which I heard spiked up to $50 a person after 10. We had a few drinks but some were ordered as doubles. I'm not sure if we were overcharged since we had bought drinks for some of our friends. It turned out to be an expensive night, which I'd say was worth it if we didn't have a weird encounter with one of the security guys. We had asked the bartender if the lounge seats by the bar were reserved. She said no and that it was first come first serve. Well that changed once someone "paid" to sit there and a security guard "kicked us out of that area". I'm not sure why we were not given the opportunity to "pay" to sit there. Awesome rooftop bar & lounge! Beautiful ambiance & decor. Sound system & music was very good, except for Bluetooth instruments & mics. Drinks are pricey however. My glass of Merlot was $18! Note: Tables are reserved, so not much seating available otherwise. Nice area for live bands. Tonight I saw Private Stock who were fantastic! At this time of year, it's very hot outside. They do have large fans positioned in a few places, but need more! Dress styles range from smart casual to dressy. Located right through the main entrance doors, to the left, to the 3rd floor. There was a private party at 1130 tonight for Dave Chappelle who performed this evening. But normally it's open til the wee hours of the morning I was told. I would visit again but won't drink there. Located on the top floor of DAER Nightclub in Hardrock Hotel and Casino (Hollywood, FL), this spot is a big open-air bar and lounge area featuring live music. It has an awesome view of the Bora Bora Lagoon below. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. Much bigger than I expected. Most of the tables had a minimum drink order to sit but we found one that worked as long as we were ordering a few drinks each. There was a good mix of music that got everybody pumped, the drinks were good and the service was even better. We had an overall really good time and left after about spending 2 1/2 to 3 hours here. Parking was tough the night we went. Really hard to find a spot but we finally did in the parking lot just outside of the entrance to Daer Nightclub. If all else fails, you'll find parking at one of the many parking lots at the Hardrock. I'm sure I'll be back again at some point now that I know it's a good time. I recommend. read more

Saturday night atop the Daer Night Club, enjoying the beautiful lights and Rooftop Live Band HAVOC 305!! What's not to like? Got there at 8 when they opened the doors so we could pick our free table. Food menu offered made at the food truck parked on the roof.... interesting. My burger and fries were not bad. More like a frozen patty, but, at least it was reasonably priced for a Rooftop Bar. Service started out great. Then, by 9:30, people pulled the 3 servers away. By then, we enjoyed the band and great views. Of course, on this venture, do check out the Guitar Hotel. After eating dinner we decided to come here for drinks and to see what this place was all about. When we arrived we found self parking and had to walk through the casino, Past the shops and took a elevator to the third floor rooftop live bar. I had a pineapple Malibu cocktail and it was not strong at all felt like I was drinking pineapple juice. I asked the bartender if there was any alcohol in there she said yeah, even though I just told her I didn't feel like it did. The set up is nice and spacious with plenty of lounge like seating. They have a live band set up stage where they play music and a space in front of the stage for the dance lovers, that night they played old classic songs maybe my grandparents would enjoy....I was actually looking forward to some up-to-date trending music and more diverse mix. I thought this place was going to be a young adult crowd but it seems to be more of a grown and sexy vibe. Probably like late 40s and up it felt like. They have a huge projection screen that advertises The event for tonight. It would've been nice to have something more entertaining on the screen though. read more

Embarrassing to go to a place like that. I went last night for an open bar event 9 pm to 12am, I paid $260 per person. The rude bartenders will only serve you if you had cash on your hand for tips. Go for the view and ambience. The music meh 1-2 stars. The view to die for the breeze is awesome and seeing the lights on the guitar show. If you want to sit it's $320 for a fold up metal table or $1000 yes $1000 for the cushion lounge plus bottles you have to buy. I would go to a real club much more lit than this before I would begin to pay here. The clubs here are not as good as before the Seminoles pushed everyone out. All drinks on the property have been watered down that i have had in three different places. Disappointing but again the view and some of the vibe is not to be missed! read more

We came here to watch the UFC fight paid the cover fee online which has an 8 dollar service fee btw... so it was the same as buying it at the door. when we arrived there was no where to sit and IF you wanted to sit you needed to pay 900 for a vip table??! so what was the point of the cover charge?? the DJ was terrible it sounded like he was just remixing ringtones the entire time at full blast?! if you plan on going to their UFC fight nights save your money its not worth it, biggest scam ever. What a fun place! No cover, which is always a plus. You take an elevator up and the views are awesome of the resort. They have TVs set up so it's a cool place to watch whatever game or fight might be on. We went this past Saturday (9/11/21) and the band was Amazing!! One they were beyond talented and two bought such a good energy and really made the experience fun. I wish I would of gotten the name of the live band, because they were fantastic! This spot could be SO amazing but currently it's not. This was my first time and it was for a friend's party. We arrived just after 8 pm. We had a dedicated waitress (1 at first but with a party of over 50+ we finally got 2). We ordered to simple drinks and requested to start a tab... she came back 10 minutes later with NO drinks but asking for my signature on an "authorization" which was b.s. because I already received a notification my card was charged $32 for my drinks. I didn't receive my first drink until 9:15. Imagine my extreme disappointment when it was ALL soda. Not a single ounce of liquor detected but I was so freaking thirsty I didn't complain. I downed it for $15 and waited patiently to order another. The next drink was better because it was bigger but still only soda. We went 4 rounds of this game but by then my friend had ordered bottle service so I was able to add a little vodka to my drinks but with 50+ people a few bottles did not go far. After 4 hours of "partying" nobody and I mean NOBODY had a buzz not even the birthday boy who only drinks once a year on his birthday, this leads me to believe that Rooftop is doing the old switcheroo with their liquor. Last comment concerning service/liquor was when our bill came it was the merchant copy to sign but I happened to lift it up and underneath was the itemized list of our drinks plus clear as day gratuity and a service charge added. That was NOT mentioned and here I was about to tip 20+% for blah service and drinks?!? I gave her a little extra because she did deal with a large party but seriously don't be sneaky about your policy!!!! Lastly, a band played for 4 hours. They were pretty good and catered to the mostly older crowd with 70s and 80s music (which I personally love). At midnight the place cleared out and a DJ came on which changed the vibe and the party had new life even with no alcohol. I do not know where to even begin with the lack of ethics at a business where moral principles should be a top priority. I reviewed the website for Rooftop in order to make a reservation to have a section/table. I put in my inquiry and received an email from Alexander and after a few email exchanges I was given the option of a location to sit at, I selected the "Skyline: VIP table located with view of the Hard Rock Pool & Guitar Hotel." Alexander advised me that my party of 9 would be required to pay at least $50 per person on food and drinks, my reservation was confirmed. Fast forward to last night and 10/9 and I get to the door of Rooftop and speak to Sean to advise I had a reservation. I also mentioned to him that my party is now a party of 7. He proceeds to tell me that I have pay $450 regardless of who's on my party, because they're playing "the fight" tonight and I was misquoted. He also told me how they're "sold out" and a lot of other neck talking to make believe this place is at capacity. I spoke with my lady and we agreed to go in. I get to my reserved location and it isn't the location I reserved, Sean then tells me "we're sold out". He doesn't want to put me in my section I reserved because it would rain, lies after lies, but I expect those things as I see snakes all day long...I told him that means nothing to me when I reserved a Skyline view two weeks in advanced. Then he lies and says he'll bring my guests additional chairs, but that didn't happen because the manager Peter said they couldn't. Peter insisted that I couldn't have my section I reserved because the open section with no patrons were paid for already. At this point I tell him that means nothing to me because I am here and we have paid. There was nothing online that mentioned I had to pay in advance, my email exchange with Alexander didn't say it either, so how could others have paid...who dropped the ball if that was the case. After a lot of back and forth and feeling like my party is getting told foolery because we're the only black guests at this point we stay to have drinks. I even offered to pay for whatever the correct price of the Skyline is and Peter tells me it's the same price as what I paid!!! Are you kidding me?! I can't sit there but others can?! Peter did offer us a bottle of his cheapest Champagne. Later in the night this sold out nightclub was still half empty. People standing behind the roped off section to try and dance. They added an additional sofa couch near us though they still had multiple empty "sections". We did notice a party was given the skyline view and the only ones in the outside Skyline area. No one is watching "the fight" that was freezing. We see people at the bar and they inquired with a waitress about buying a table and they buy a table next to us, so are you sold out or not? Someone in my party is upset as we're watching the BULLSHIT unfold at this place that isn't sold out and confronts Peter only for him to tell us he's getting security because the guest is to loud for him and he's feeling attacked. How can you possibly deceive guests and think it's okay and now you can't deal with someone who's upset because it isn't sold out and even the interior section there were only two of 6 sections paid for, one was my section and the guests who paid for a section 30 minutes before security got called on us. That Skyline area still has the 1 party in it, no one else...clearly a friend of the owner as they're partying and all other sections are empty. Even the kind security guard who overheard the chaos mentioned why would they not give what you want, this place isn't sold out at all and they could've added chairs. First and last for this location, but the lack of empathy and lack of ethical morals were nonexistent. Lies and deceit for a location that think they're Club Liv. Ripping guests off all for a dollar. Pandemic or not humanity is and has fallen a part. I hope this place gets some diversity training, ethics training and interpersonal skills training. If they keep deceiving people the wrong guests are really going to make them have a reason to call security read more

I'm on vacation from California and I attempted to go to the rooftop with my friend who is also visiting. We are two black men in our 30's. A gentleman in front of us wearing a hockey jersey and jeans was let in to the establishment with no issues. When it was our turn to enter, the bouncer (who was also black) checked our ID's and was in the process of letting us in. Out of no where the bald older white door manager ran to where we were and did everything to discourage us to not try to enter the bar. He stated there were no women in here (he used the B word), lied and stated it was a $45 or $40 cover (several people entered on that Thursday without paying a cover), said they weren't playing our type of music (how does he know what music we enjoy). Overall it was a racist and awful experience. I am a CEO of a technology startup and my friend is in the tech industry as well. We had no issues affording a cover but the door manager (or whatever his job title is) made it clear that black people aren't welcome at his bar. read more
