I'm here with my girlfriend because the music was pretty good. They had the Latin music like Reggaeton old school, salsa, Bachata, and merengue. the drinks were OK. I had a strawberry margarita and it was super syrupy. Music was good but then it became a bit stale to me and I was looking for some new school Reggaeton

It's almost like happy hour was a secret. Idk what time is happy hour but we were there during happy hour. The prices of drinks were definitely affordable the hookah was only 10 bucks. Not bad at all. The atmosphere is great. There was a live singer. Definiitely a great place to hang out with friends. Wish I knew what time was happy hour to return. They also have a kitchen right next to it that has Latin food. While your there having drinks smoking hookah you can order from the kitchen adjacent to the bar.

Do you remember those High school house parties where maybe you had part of your house? Where cocktails were strong and you didn't care if your beer was craft or your DJ headlines at Ibiza? You just care about partying with a group of friends jamming to salsa, bachata and some reggaeton. Well this is what you're getting at Tekila! I came here to celebrate a milestone birthday of a good friend I knew since those good old days. She picked this spot, and I was ready to get my groove on. The space is cozy: a small dance floor divides the bar and a row of tables (we reserved like 3 for our group). The DJ booth was in the back, and there's also some outside tables right on Hollywood Blvd where you can enjoy hookahs. Our group ordered a more than a couple of buckets of Coronas, out of which I enjoyed my fair share. My drinks are usually mojito, and of course I indulged both classic and a Malibu coconut rum. I like the fact they do mash the mint leaves and not just splash sprite on rum. The pours were potent enough that I even started singing my best Despacito impression. They do charge automatic gratuity right on the card. There's also a bouncer at the entry with a metal detector. The bathroom is outside, at the end of the hall that separates it from an adjacent Mexican restaurant where the attendant has the usual mouthwash and colognes (including Dolce & Gabbana). Between the classics of the 90's in bachata, merengue and the newer HipHop, Reggaetaon and yes Cardi B no track was repeated and we all danced until 3AM.

People in Broward always say there is no fun dance spots like in Miami. They say there is a couple places close like Palladium and Spice, but not the same loud, music pumping, sweaty grind that makes a great Miami salsa club. I beg to differ Tekila is that club. It kicks off late, so you have to plan your night right. Its next to many other great spots downtown Hollywood so you can spend time many places prior to kicking your shoes You can hit the Irish pub across the street or the Jamaican night club next door called Ginger Bay if you want a different scene. But by midnight the music will be pumping and there is no cover so you can walk in right off the street. It's a small place that keeps it simple, so don't expect the dance shows of Mangos. But if you are looking for a Latin club that is all about smiles and fun, you can't do better in Broward

It's been a while since we've come to Tequila... a couple of weekends ago we wanted to go dancing and decided to drive down to Hollywood. Boca does not have many options for dancing, especially Latin music. Got there around 8:30pm, a bit early but the place was already starting to fill up with people. The music was going, and they had a person singing live with some instruments too. Drinks are strong, and they have a taco place right next door. We styed for about two hours, talking, dancing, having a great time. Great to see this is still a great place to enjoy Latin music and dance. read more

It finally happened! My boyfriend and I have "a place"! Meaning, an establishment that knows who we are when we get there. We visit tequila bar at least once a week, and love the Mojitos - especially the coconut ones! Most seating is outside and I almost never see anyone sit inside, but the service is prompt and checking out is a breeze. The other night, they offered us free tequila, shots and when we see them doing events on Hollywood Boulevard, they recognize us too. I didn't even mention how awesome their food is, but I don't eat there that regularly. I would just suggest staying away from fish tacos. I don't think I enjoyed mine, but the nachos are the best, no matter what protein you put on it or if you don't put any at all! read more

Came in for the first time on a Friday night to have a few drinks. They had live music and were playing a great variety of Spanish, Caribbean and Latin music with a lot of old school reggaeton which took me back to high school days. Definitely greats vibes and strong drinks. They do not honor the Yelp check in offer so that was disappointing. Also, the female server was terrible and a bit rude. I went with my friend early in the evening to have a good time and a guy started bothering us. I told him to take the chair and leave us alone. The guy kept bothering us and I told the security guard at the door. Too bad, in the end my friend and I, who were trying to have a good time, were kicked out by security, being mistreated by a woman who said she was the head of security, who ran over my friend. Too bad that such a nice place with very helpful and attentive bar employees has to leave such a bad experience. They even asked us if it was our first time there. Apparently it is something that happens frequently. Bad performance by the security guards, mistreating two single women who were trying to have a good time together. And the worst thing was by another woman who said she was the head of security. read more

Order a frozen margarita then dance salsa on the side walk with a stranger. It's the only way to probably enjoy a summer night during the Florida winter. Happy Hours goes til about two. So if you want a shot, a cocktail or a just a beer something will come out quickly. They also have hookah. I'm not sure if there are certain promoters that work with certain vendors on certain nights. You'll definitely will see them on Saturday's. Monday night karaoke is hilarious. If you'd had an extra hard day or an extra great day come out and either change or amp up your mood for the rest of the week. Dj's are great and as long as there is a small crowd you'll smile for hours. read more

First I want to start by said I used to love this place but the service is getting worse and worse the servers are really rude , second I bring in a group of 13 people for my bday and we got there early because in the WEBSITE they promote HAPPY HOUR from 6-9 when I get there at 7 the server has the audacity to tell me the owners put the wrong hours and the website information is wrong , this is completely false advertise so she took 1 hour away from us . Second when I get my bill she did not give me happy hour price and over charge me and to finish this they over charge me tip when I did not left any tip , I try calling the manager no one pick up the phone this is ridiculous and unacceptable coming from a Business like this so please if the manager or owners read this please I want the money they stole back thank you read more

Live latin music in the patio area with a small dance floor. The waitress and bartender were very accommodating. The DJ Alex even went as far as making sure that he played some Cali Rap Music because he discovered that I was from California and that I love Rap music. Tacos next door that is available until 5AM as well! Ubers arrived within 3 minutes. I would highly recommend for a genuine, fun time that reminds you of an old school high school party with friends with alcohol, hookah, and live music added. read more

Miami/Hollywood is a rum & gin city so this was refreshing especially coming from Texas, I do know and love my tequila! The service is super fast but this place does get extremely crowded. If you're trying to social distance I recommend going as soon as they open and no later than 9:30! read more

Ok, i have to say that it has definitely improved. I have been there twice more, usually very late (past 1am) so the place wasn't as packed and there was enough room to get a table and some dance floor. I like that they have Hookah's and the DJ is pretty good (spanish music that is). I'd say give it a try after it empties out a little. read more

Hell Yeah, I would come here again if I wanted to get my "jersey shore" on lol Located in Hollywood Circle $5 Apple Martini, $5 patron shots Happy Hour specials as low as $2.50 during the day Hot dancer ;) Has an outdoor patio and an inside space but its wicked small soooo limited dancing unless you've had a couple Martini's crowd was mixed, early 20's to 30's Saturday music was mostly top 40 and dance..would stop by again for a drank. read more

Awful place. way over priced. it was supposed to be $27 (on the menu they gave us) and they charged us $38. Overall, awful place! No one there when we went and they still charged us overprice! It was NYE and no one was there!! They charged us way over price! I do NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!! read more

Went here on a taco Tuesday morning! Joy joy joy! Started with the minimum 3 street tacos (have to order 3 at a time) and had one steak, one chicken, and 1 bean and cheese. It was so good I ordered a side of refried I beans and cheese and 3 more tacos which was more than enough. Everything was hot and well seasoned. The waitress was so nice and attentive. Everything was clean. There is a beverage requirement with the dollar tacos, Which I spent $3 on a carbonated water on tap with lime (charged for a soda). It was not crowded so there was no way in the atmosphere was very pleasant. If you choose to sit outside, do not sit near the very front tables if you are sensitive to faint random cigarrette smoke from passer bys on Hollywood boulevard. I parked on side street for 2 hours for $4. read more

This place was awesome! I DJ here on Thursday nights for Karaoke. They have a projector out-front in the open patio area were hot chicks were dancing and singing karaoke on the bars. Inside was just as cool but a bit packed. Patron shots were only $5 all night and beer buckets were $15. I didn't try any of the food but you can't go wrong with Mexican! I played mostly top 40 club music and Latin pop but it's an all request night so I played a little bit of everything. These guys were awesome and I highly recommend them, especially on Thursdays Karaoke Nights; see you there! Karaoke from 9 - ????. read more

The only downsides are that you really need to make a reservation ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you might end up stuck at the bar or in a less atmospheric spot. Also, there are only two gender-neutral restrooms, so there can be a bit of a wait.
