Salesman was great... and said if I had any questions I can call and ask for him. EVERY TIME I CALLED HE WAS NEVER WORKING. Furniture was to arrive on 4/1. I called on 4/1 and got a rude person on the phone asking why I can't just wait for them to call me. Then he said it's been pushed to 4/5. THANKS FOR TELLING ME. At 2pm we received an automated message delivery window moved to 6pm to 8pm. At 5:45pm called the store manager she called delivery and she reported the driver got lost at previous stops conveyed my frustration that rooms to go basically made my day pretty useless stuck at the house waiting for them and we had a xmas party to attend. She assured me it would arrive by 6:30pm at 6:30 no delivery truck and an text message with updated time to 6:45 told my wife let's go our day is shot. went to the store which is about 15 minutes away from my home. They arrived at our home at 7:15. Told the clerk to cancel the delivery reason for cancelation poor delivery service. While my Sales guys was fantastic former police officer took the time with my wife to go over all her options during the sale. The delivery department is an epic failure. They rely too much on technology to update this is fine if you are on the agreed delivery window but if you fail to deliver during that window a human should be calling to apologize and work out a new delivery window or pushing the delivery to another day. we bought outdoor furniture from here in May. The furniture was anything other than outdoor. It rained and the wood stain ran on our deck and the white chairs of the set. when it dried it left stains. It took the store a month and a half to send someone out to look at the furniture. We purchased our set back in January of 2016 and never received the end tables. We were told they were on back order. We were contacted again in May and were told it would be June or July before they would show up. We decided to pick out another coffee table (the Original had already been delivered) and end tables that were in stock. We ended to paying $100 more so we could complete our space. Cooperate acted like it was bending over backwards to take the new coffee table back so we could upgrade to something that was in stock! Cooperate told me I had two options: upgrade to a new set at my expense or wait for the tables and they would compensate me for waiting......but not both! On the delivery, the drivers did not call as they are suppose to before showing up, and they left a lot of dirt and debris from the setup. So here is what I have invested so far: $1,600 for the original set (sofa, love seat, coffee table, 2 end tables) $200 in tax and delivery $100 in upgrades in order to complete the set we ordered 6 months ago! 12 hours total for waiting for deliveries. 120 miles in travel to and from the show room 3 months waiting on the furniture I already paid for. What has Rooms 2 Go done: Authorized the pickup of a 2 month old coffee table!! Rooms 2 Go has done very little to remedy this situation except take back the brand new coffee table that will be transferred to a Rooms 2 Go outlet and will still make money! I am so very disappointed with Rooms 2 Go and am very very hesitant about doing additional business. We are looking for additional furniture, but nothing I have experienced makes me want to return. I would like financial compensation for the issues, time, phone calls, emails, waiting times etc we have endured as a new customer to Rooms 2 Go, and NO just having the coffee table authorized to be picked up is not enough. They said in previous emails financial compensation was an options if I continued to wait for my original tables!!!! Now you have MORE of my hard earned money!!!! We purchased 3 dual power recliners at $900 each from Rooms to Go, and everyone of the chairs has the same problem. Every seat cushion is not level. When we sit on the chairs, it is obvious how uneven they are. We took out a 3 year extended warranty from FORTEGRA, and upon their review, informed us that it is not covered. FORTEGRA does not stand behind their warranty, they only collected our money. Do NOT take out the extended warranty on your furniture from FORTEGRA it is a fraud! read more

The sales people are nice but when it comes to delivery at customer service and delivery is horrible I had a scheduled delivery for January 19 between the hours of 8 AM to 12 PM. The driver said that he was at my home I was home all morning no one text or called like they did before in the past, so I had to reschedule a week later they gave me a delivery date of 2 to 6. My kids had to miss school because I needed to be home to wait for the delivery person to come. When 3 o'clock came. I called Rooms To Go only to find out that my delivery changed Estimated time of 6:20 PM to 7:20 PM. I feel that they do not care about the customers waiting to have their furniture delivered on the agreed time after paying for the furniture in full a business should correlate and standby the approved time they give you the time you are not allowed to choose the time, when you call customer service, the dispatch you cannot speak to and you cannot change the time that they give you a day before I will never purchase ever again only because of their customer service and their delivery options they need to do better read more

Blatantly dishonest sales people. Told us to put our furniture on lay away while we closed on our new house and stated it would be available when we knew it could deliver. Paid over $4k with most of the items with a $50 dollar balance remaining. Went to pay off the bill and schedule the delivery, "sorry we can't get you that sofa until mid-October and the other items are no longer available, they weren't locked in." Why the hell would you tell me you would hold the items then sell them after I put so much down. Went to American signature and got the same items for much less. On top of that, as my wife (who is much more patient and understanding than me) tried to solve the situation and get different furniture, the sales person decided it was more important to go and greet the people at the door than finish with her. We had to track someone down when we came in, but when you are with a customer spending over $6k you will get up and worry about someone else. SMH Thanks for added to the stress during closing with your lies and holding my $4k for a month while selling my furniture you told me you would hold. I am sorely dissatisfied with the subpar quality products and service that my daughter, who I proudly referred to RTG, experienced. I have been a customer of RTG for a number of years (spending tens of thousands). So of course, they were my #1 referral when she moved into her very first apartment a couple months ago. What began as an experience of which I'm accustomed to quickly turned into a complete nightmare for her. She ordered a sofa, which was delivered with extensive water damage not once or twice, but THREE separate times...and in one of the deliveries, the sofa didn't even include the legs. As a result of that damaged sofa being left on her brand new rug by the delivery men, it damaged the rug as well (they eventually declined to help repair). When my daughter returned to the retail store to finally ask what could be done after experiencing such an inconvenience, she was given NO offering of restitution other than a $75 DECOR gift certificate! There was no offer to giver her an additional credit towards the purchase of a different sofa, no credit of delivery of a different model sofa she would choose...nothing. What's even more disheartening is that the corporate office has echoed this same sentiment of which my daughter was told that they have "strict" policies for their customers regarding returns and cancellations. Unfortunately, they don't hold themselves accountable to the same level or standard of policy when it comes to the quality of the products that they promise to deliver. To say that I am disappointed and ashamed that I referred someone, especially my daughter, here and for her to receive such cold and unforgiving treatment is an understatement. And not to mention, my mother, whom I also referred to a location in Jacksonville, is now in the midst of her 3rd delivery of a damaged partial sectional as well. On a Saturday afternoon, first sign not many customers, sales people casually chatting with each other watched us but never asked to help. As we walked through the store, this occurred more than once. After about 45 minutes one of the same sales person, large male, slowly walked past us just staring. I said hello. He said hello and kept walking. We saw an enthusiastic customer being helped by a sales lady, India descent based on dress, who offers her sales person. We waited but decided to leave after being in store over an hour. I plan to file a formal complaint with the RTG home office. My wife and I went to the store to purchase a sectional sofa. While at the store we ended up purchasing a particular sectional that had some decorative pillows that were shown with the set, my wife liked them and told the sales associate how pretty they were. We were never told they were not included or told they cost extra as we would have included them in the purchase , we assumed they were included. The sofa sectional shows up and instead of having 4 pillows it came with only one?? I even asked the delivery team where the rest were and they stated that it was weird and should have came with more pillows. The quality of their couches is awful. The first couch came in with no cushioning in the arm rests or the sectional wedge and the delivery men accidentally cut the leather while opening it. The second attempt to deliver the same couch resulted in pieces with no cushioning in the arm rests that were dirty and dusty. They agreed to give me a store credit so I picked out a different leather reclining sectional that is almost $1k more, hoping the quality would be better. The 3rd attempt they made to bring me a couch the left facing recliner is missing because they mis-shipped a piece. The wedge is also understuffed on the back rests so looks like it's been sat on for years. They told me it would be almost 4 weeks to get the missing piece and that they would send a service tech. I've already wasted hours dealing with Rooms to Go, being on hold with customer service and waiting for deliveries. I'm now having to go through a resolution process with the bank because the store manager refuses to just cut ties and let me buy better quality furniture elsewhere. The sales man was nice and their customer service tries to help but they unfortunately can't fix bad quality furniture. The delivery men confirmed with me that they pick up returns all day long. "Do not judge a book by its cover." I am extremely DISsatisfied with the level of service I received from this location. I pulled up to the store in a family SUV with my wife and three children. We received the Anniversary Sale circular in the mail and anticipated on purchasing 1 of 2 different sofa sectionals that was advertised. With that being said, we entered the store with nobody to greet us. In all honesty, I thought this was nice (at first) because I am in sales, and having the opportunity to browse with 'breathing room' should never be taken for granted. Upon testing out different furniture for 30 minutes, we noticed several guests walk through the door - all of which were greeted and asked if they could be helped. By this point, I started to observe that there were small groups of "sales" agents gathered on furniture talking and laughing. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were having meetings and discussing work related items... but anybody else in my shoes would feel - at this point - inferior to the stereotypical Clermont demographic (older and with money) that was being addressed and taken into consideration. My wife and I decided on a sectional set, and at this point I truly had a question to ask. I saw two employees off to the side talking and I interrupted with "sorry gentlemen, I know you are busy, but I have a question regarding this sectional". One of the two employees introduced himself to me as the Manager (Justin or Jason - can't recall) and answered my question related to the direction of the sectional. I must admit, he was very knowledgeable and professional, and asked if I was working with a particular salesman. I explained the situation and that we hadn't even been greeted. He apologized and offered to ensure I was taken care of. At this point, my mind had been set that I would not give my money to this particular store, simply to the fact of the unprofessionalism on the whole. I mentioned to the Manager "had I pulled up after work in my suit, and in my Cadillac, I guarantee that I would've had sales agents offering to assist me at no end, but because I came in here as a family, with my tattoos showing, clearly nobody wants my business." In fairness, the manager explained that there was a possibility that other employees assumed I was greeted by a different salesman, and they do not want to step on each others toes (commission based), but I decided to head home and place the order online. I received the sectional within two days, and received a bonus cocktail ottoman ($400 value) for only $99! I am beyond satisfied with the product, the value, and the Manager who attempted to resolve the situation are the reason why this review has earned two stars, instead of one. read more
