There is a large array of mattresses for every budget, and I feel that they are all top quality. If you are at all confused about what kind of mattress to buy they will advise, and genuinely want to please you. One of the items I purchased was an impromptu item at the register: Sheila's lemon brownie brittle. The ONLY reason I purchased this item was because it was marked down to $.56 and I had never seen the lemon flavor. In addition to living for a great deal, I love me some lemon flavored desserts! Once I was back at my mother's home that evening, I went through my receipts and noticed I was charged full price $3 for my brownie brittle. I immediately called the store in an effort to receive a refund for the difference. My mom lives a decent distance away from the store and I couldn't have returned prior to closing. Moreover, I was returning home to South Florida the following morning so an in person interaction wasn't feasible. The staff member who took my call wasn't the most helpful and stated the manager was busy. She informed me that my local Big Lots could provide me with a refund for the difference. This was good enough for me. Fast forward to me attempting to visit my local Big Lots.... it closed. Needless to say, I called the store again to report my dilemma and request a refund. Again I received the runaround and after conveying my discontent, I had the opportunity to speak with a manager. Allegedly, they don't have the capability to issue a refund over the phone. I asked if I could return on my next trip to receive a refund or store credit. He said no problem, but changed his tune when I stated it may be 2-3 months. At this point, I was done. Here's the deal, I was overcharged at the WPB location on one occasion, my mom had an item that rang up far more than the sticker price on this same visit and now I'm being stuck to shell out $3 I didn't intend to spend. I think NOT! I realize in the scheme of things, it's $3. But, I'm a student of FPU and every dollar counts in my budget. So my Dave Ramsey following self gave up trying to remedy with the store and called BOA. It's all about the principle! Needless to say, I received my money back and I won't be visiting Big Lots on my next visit. Their customer service and inconsistent pricing is for the birds! On a positive note, I do love the wall art I purchased and the lemon brownie brittle was tasty... even tastier after I received my $2.44 credit from the bank. ;)

I bought some fun new ornaments for our tree and my friend bought home accents. They also sell other items - candles, jewelry, a wide range of dips/mixes. They walk around with samples of drinks and dips so you can check out their mixes. They also sell jams and relishes. This last trip, we bought the bacon/horseradish dip and the chipotle ranch dip. I made the bacon one into a dip and the ranch one into a cheese ball. Both were delicious. My friend bought and made the apple cider drink, which has you add caramel vodka. The drink was delicious! The Christmas Jam was also a hit (it's strawberry/cranberry). Highly recommend if you're near Eustis - and there's a Foxtail next door if you want to grab a quick coffee and sit out and enjoy the beautiful weather.
