I used to love coming to this Hobby Lobby location and decorating my home with items from here, but…read morerecently my experiences have been completely ruined by the attitude of some of the employees. Over the last 2 months, one Hispanic young employee with red hair has made every visit extremely unpleasant with rude behavior and a terrible attitude. Today, she was also constantly staring at us in a very judgmental way and making us feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were shopping. No customer should feel watched or judged just for being in the store. The older cashier with glasses at the register was also openly looking us up and down and came across as very judgmental and unwelcoming. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or judged while simply trying to shop. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite stores, but the customer service lately has been awful. I really wish management would hire kinder, more professional employees instead of people with constant attitudes toward customers.

The lines are long and the service isn't always the greatest but it's retail and for me, that's expected (a wait, sometimes bad service). I have experienced better but maybe I was here on a bad day. The book section delivered, and my son found a full fantasy book set as well as a cook book. I found a set of bowls I can use for leftovers. And wtf they have furniture?! They don't deliver, but that is listed in their rules but Jesus fuck, that's a great price! I wouldn't buy food here, but that's only because as I've grown, I've gone to bougie farmers markets in Phoenix. But if you're on a strict budget? This place is fantastic! I signed up for the rewards program (seriously, you can't go wrong with this), and the cashier explained everything. I'd 1000%, one million percent recommend this place. It's easy to overspend (if you're on a budget) because you see things you didn't intent to get but you do because you can't beat the prices. Try not to take your kids because they'll be worse than you when it comes to picking one or two things. The store wasn't the cleanest BUT my expectations weren't high for that. The cashiers were nice and the people working the aisles were helpful.

WARNING! DO NO BUY FROM "ROOMS TO GO" ROBBING HOMES! In May 2021, 2 reported home robberies took place by rooms to go. Rooms to Go delivered $4,400 of furniture bought, after tipping their employees $10 each and giving them a soda, it was discovered right after they left that we were ROBBED! During the delivery and assembly of furniture bought. The rooms to go employees requested to use the bathroom. What we did not know is that trusted rooms to go employees were going through the house and stealing anything of value behind our backs. They found 2 wallets and cash box. They stole 2 wallets which had all identifications, credit cards and cash. They also stole a storage box with cash, glasses and other personal items. After filing a police report. We also discovered that the criminal investigator got a call from another family that was robbed by rooms to go employees. They did the same thing, went through personal belongings in the house, found and stole a wedding band. We also discovered from the police that employees identifi have extensive criminal record and even x con. There is no telling how many other people are being robbed by rooms to go employees and go unreported. We have filed a compensation claim with rooms to go shortly after the robbery. Its been 6 months and still no resolve. What does rooms to go have to say about all this??? They down play it and wash their hands by saying that the delivery employees are not rooms to go employees and a seperate contractor. This is irrelevant and a poor excuse! That's like going to Apple Bee's restaurant and you got food poisoning from the food. Apple Bee's owner (seller) tells you the chef that made your dish is not our employee and was a sub-contracted chef. The restaurant tries to disclaim any wrong or responsibility. Our contract was with rooms to go and NOT with anyone else. Who they higher as temp employees to perfom the work and delivery is not our problem. If they higher criminals or illegals thats their business. Rooms to go is totally responsible for anything that goes wrong. Those employees highered by rooms to go represent the company. They wore the shirt logos and the truck logo as well. Rooms to go is responsible for the delivery, damage and their conduct, why wouldn't they be responsible criminal misconduct of robbing homes on delivery runs??? That's not the customer's fault if rooms to go failed to background check their employees and hire criminals that loot people's homes. ROOMS TO GO MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!! read more

First of all, If I could leave zero stars, I would. The $2k couch i bought was delivered 2 months after purchasing. When I finally get my couch, the contractors who installed it tore the corner of my couch AND my wall. I rent my house and RTG told me I have to pay for them tearing my wall, they don't deal with damages like that. When I wanted a refund for my couch (because at this point I'm pissed that they damaged my wall and won't pay to fix it) they told me a refund is only allowed 48 hours after you purchase something and once it's delivered, that's it. I no longer wanted to deal with them but I'm now tied to pay the $2K I paid for the couch that is now damaged. Ridiculous. The return policy doesn't exist once your furniture is delivered. If you don't like something, you have to exchange it for something of exact value or greater BUT you have to pay additional fees that cost well over $200 and your furniture will arrive defective or completely not what you asked for and they don't care. Rooms To Go only focuses on getting the sale and keeping it wether you're satisfied or not. They will give you the run-around and tell you to call customer service then customer service will tell you to go to the store to return something but in their policy it says you cannot return something once it's delievered...I wouldn't tell my worst enemies to shop here. read more

Do not buy! This has been the most horrible experience ever when purchasing furniture! First, we ordered beds from the kids department and then wanted living room and game room furniture only to discover there would be an additional $100 delivery fee on top of the 100 we had to pay for the kids stuff because rooms to go kids and rooms to go are separate! Even if they are on the same truck we would have to pay double the delivery. Insane! So delivery day came. Friday 12th...no headboard for the bed..they came back Monday the 15th but now no rails! Then after they start putting up what they had, the bed was damaged! No hooks for the ladder and a slice of wood chipped from it, scuffs on headboards and the corner of one looked like a used cardboard box! I call customer service, they will send a replacement next friday the 26th! Thats 2 weeks that my special needs child will not sleep in a bed???? Then she says they will put me on an add on list if they have room available. Thats bs! We should be priority because its not OUR fault the beds came messed up! Not only that, but they took a chunk out of our wall! I am highly upset. Im sure they want their money though! I will never use them again. My experience with a sales representative at Rooms To Go was completely unacceptable. The representative, Ban Alhammoodi, was extremely unprofessional during our interaction. The most frustrating part was that she hung up on me mid-conversation while I was calmly trying to explain an issue with my order. At no point was I rude or disrespectful, so there was absolutely no reason for the call to be handled that way. I was simply trying to get help correcting a mistake with the bed size I received, and instead of offering any assistance or basic customer service, the situation was handled in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. Being hung up on as a paying customer is beyond unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the level of service being provided. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly caution others to be aware of how customer concerns may be handled, as this was one of the worst service interactions I've had. read more

After giving them all of that, and them verifying everything successfully... he hands my husband a paper saying that we have to take it to our bank to verify that he is on the account! After an hour of verifying...he wants us to verify we are on the account! A complete waste of our time! His response...."I am sorry we cannot do anything for you until you bring that paper back." Needless to say... we will not be purchasing anything from this store ever!! You just lost a customer, and I will not be recommended ding this store to anyone I know.... very displeased!
