I wish I had read these reviews before making a purchase from Rooms To Go. During my move to TX from CA in 2024, my priceless antique dining room table disappeared. I needed a table in a hurry and a family member suggested Rooms To Go. Clearly the table I purchased is not wood or of great quality, but since I don't have a lot of traffic in my home and I take care of my things, I thought it would last a little while at least. Recently the table top began moving side to side. I phoned the store and requested someone come out and tighten the screws. The customer service representative said there's nothing they can do because I didn't purchase a service agreement. Who expects a DR table to start spinning around? I have living room furniture that I purchased from a real furniture store in 1980. It's still beautiful and does what it's supposed to do. I'm disappointed that Rooms To Go won't fix this. This is the second couch we got through rooms to go. The first started to come apart so after a lot of back and forth with Rooms to go we were able to get a replacement now this one is having issues. We have had this one since April of 2024 and the stitching is coming apart on the seams and on the cushions. When we contacted Rooms to Go, they said that after a year it is no longer their issue but the company who they outsource the warranty with. Although that company said that none of this is covered. When we have went to Rooms to Go the saleswoman raved about how everything was covered even stains, so we are confused. That company said there is nothing they can do because the warranty does not cover it. Sales person that dismissed when we offered $150 less than the "corporate" rate. I called the corporate office and I was told I need to speak to the manager. So, I went back after going to purchase a refrigerator at Lowe's. I told the "I'm going to keep my hand in my pockets" manager the story. How the sales person said, "the prices were set by the corporate office." That's not true it can be negotiated by the stores. I walked in with the intention of paying cash for some new living room furniture and was told that the thing that I wanted was the last one but I could take the floor model for $2k ish. Bought a couch for over $2k. Signs of wear started around the 10th month mark. I went into the store and they said call warranty. Called warranty and they said unless it's got a hole in it, it's not covered. Went to the store to get a price to pay out of pocket to replace the worn cushion covers. They said someone will call you. Someone called and said it's not covered under the one year manufacture warranty and we should call warranty. After explaining that we just want to buy the cushion covers and fix it ourselves, they said they would email a form to us. They did email the form, but we don't have the part numbers for the cushions. Called the same number back within 3 min of them calling and their office is closed. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The furniture is super expensive, but we thought that it would be worth it if we had good customer service. Nope! As soon as that card swipes they are rude and they disregard that you are a customer. The delivery guys don't do any call ahead apparently so if they come to your house and you're not there they leave. They also make it seem like your fault for not being there during that 4 hour window. Like you're not supposed to have a job to pay for this furniture. I called the company and told them this and they said that it's not their fault and that they contract that out like that was an excuse. Ashley's calls 30 minutes ahead before delivering, dominos notifies you how long the delivery will take, notifying people before you actually show up for delivery is a common practice and Rooms To Go can't do that. read more

The difference in shipping being about 3 weeks delay if shipped to home. UPDATE ON OUR LATEST DELIVERY!! We have now had two deliveries to our home in Round Rock (for an online order) on the same item (coffee table) and both times the coffee tables have arrived damaged!!! This second delivery completed just minutes ago, they delivered clearly a floor model or an already returned item since it was delivered in a MOVING BLANKET and not even in a box!!!! The only reason we agreed to do home delivery was because the Round Rock store, the Austin store, and Cedar Park stores all charge $50 to do a store pickup!!! This is exactly why we didn't want to do home delivery, because you can never check the product before accepting it, then you have to wait forever to do a return / exchange pickup. Of course no guarantee on blemish free product, and no accountability. Just sit on the phone in queue to try to get another return or exchange delivery scheduled. Then you have to wait you have to wait and wait for a few weeks for your next return / exchange delivery window to arrive. Then once you get it, good luck on it not being damaged product right out of the box, or right out of the MOVING BLANKET!!! Bought an adjustable bed and within a couple of weeks both remotes stopped working. I now have extremely expensive beds that I can't sleep in because they are stuck in an upright position. I've been attempting to contact a supervisor for the last month. They said I cannot have her info but if I left mine, she would email me or call me back. They mislead me about my extended warranty. I finally decided to hire somebody to fix my recliner after being told that my warranty only covered food and drinks. The person I hired actually works for rooms to go. He said that the recliner had a manufacturers defect and that's why it sat a little crooked. When I brought this up to customer support they said it was customer negligence for not calling sooner. After getting nowhere with them, I decided to order the part only to find out that it's going to be 90 days before receive it. I will never do business with Rooms to go. My brother has ALS/ Lou Gehrig's Disease. Our family, along with many others, are trying to give him the best quality life while living with this horrific disease. It was very important to him to be able to pull his wheelchair under the table to eat, while a caregiver feeds him. I purchased a counter height breakfast table and 4 chairs from Rooms to Go. I went into the store to view the product in person but they did not have one in the showroom. I went ahead and purchased the product unaware of their no return policy. The same day I received the product, I called RTG because this particular table didn't work for him and we were not happy with the quality. The sales person did not tell me there was a no return policy. I spoke to Herbie, the manager, and he said, "There were plenty of platforms where you could have seen the policy." I made the comment, " Surely, this is not how you do business- you don't inform your customers?" His response was, "Yes, this is exactly how we do business." He also told me that they are in the business of selling furniture-not having it returned.
