We have been buying furniture here for the last 10 years for our rentals. It has all held up very well. We buy on the higher end of the price range and a sofa with slipcovers is still going strong since 2014, faded from washing but no stains and that's a result on a rental sofa. The staff are friendly, its their job to sell so do question carefully on some of the policies especially the staincare deal and what that actually is. It would be nice if occasionally there was a bonus for customers. The bottle of spot remover does does'nt ring my bell after spending $3,000 but a gift voucher for a cocktail at craft bar across the way would hit the spot (no pun intended). Purchase a couch and loveseat that was delivered October 2025 and this was placed on a home that was just completed with brand new flooring. There'd been nothing other than that couch sitting on top of a piece of flooring that was scratched up, but the service tech came out and of course, found nothing wrong at all with this piece of furniture so I'm not only out around three grand for the furniture but have to have my floor repaired at my expense as they came up with results that there was nothing wrong with the mechanism. As noted, there's been nothing else on top of this piece of flooring, other than a reclining piece of the couch, which scratched up the flooring. We even placed felt pads on every contact point on couch to give some life away from flooring so we don't even use the recliners now. Pretty much figured they'd come out and discount anything that we had to say about this. Will be furnishing another place in the future, but will definitely not be purchasing from Rooms To Go in Panama City Beach Florida. read more

They delivered subpar furniture , could not put it together, then ordered the wrong parts three times and still could not get it right. My wife had to take off work three times to come meet them. today we were searching for a mattress. We were met at the front door by Colleen. She was very friendly and listened to our needs. She showed us many mattress in all different price points. We settled on one and when it came time to make the sale, she found out we were also looking to buy a house. She advised us on our credit score ratings and then we proceeded in a way that would not affect our credit score. We will be back to look at couches in the near future. I have bought our furniture from Rooms to Go since the 90's. Never had a problem until we purchased a couch and love seat a couple of years ago. Both had recliners built in, and one of the recliners on the couch has bent back several inches and has to be pushed up to it's correct height. The armrest on the love seat has very thin wood, which has broken on one side. Their quality use to be great, but now they are apparently using subpar materials. After 20 some odd years of doing business with them, I will no longer be buying from Rooms to Go. read more

This is not a Rooms To Go Kids. It's a Rooms To Go. The furniture is fine, but the staff here... not so impressive. We arrived right at opening time at 11:00 after driving from Tallahassee. Except they were not open. The staff was sitting a few feet from the glass front door having a meeting. We waved, but the manager just turned her head away from us. We figured they were running late so we stood there and waited until 11:15. At that point my wife knocked on the glass just enough to politely get their attention. The manager shot her a dirty look and the fellow seated across from her turned, looked, and then gave the same snotty expression. We couldn't believe how rude the entire staff was to customers. That's when we discovered our phones never changed to Central Time and we were an hr early. Oops! Totally our bad. That said, when we came back an hour and a half later the experience wasn't any better. These folks are snobs until they realize you're planning on buying two rooms of furniture and lamps. Then they are soooo fake sweet. Our favorite part was when the guy who gave us the dirty look went to change a light bulb in a lamp, and busted the glass. Karma! So the attitude wasn't actually the worst part. And I give a tiny pass because they probably thought we were trying to get them to open the doors early. The worst part is you can't actually buy anything at this store. Every item needs to be shipped and comes with individual shipping AND set up fees. Whatever you do NOT buy any furniture from Rooms To Go! We purchased a massive sectional sofa from them in 2019 and paid extra for the 3 year warranty. Shortly after the 2 year mark the supports for a section of the sofa break. The Rooms To Go technician comes out and says it is a manufacturer design flaw. The warranty company does not cover manufacturer design flaws. I contact Rooms To Go Again and they tell me they only honor 1 year warranty and it doesn't matter if they determine it is a design flaw. So now we are stuck with a sectional sofa we paid thousands for, plus an extended warranty, that is now broken and Rooms To Go and the warranty company refuse to fix. Complete and total scam. So far, not so good. Everything received has been damaged or defective. End tables, which had to be assembled, lacked all the parts with no way to get repairs or replacement. I had to make due with parts from the hardware store. ALSO, they are not finished!! We had to polyurethane the tops due to them creating extreme water spots!! (Strike 1); Then the sleeper loveseat is unusable. The cushions force anyone attempting to sit to SLIDE forward right OFF the seat!! (Strike2); Now, the dresser delivered is damaged with numerous gouges. (Strike 3) ! NO WONDER THEY CLAIM THERE'S A NO REFUND POLICY!! RUN. I RECOMMEND ONLINE FURNITURE SHOPPING. Great, friendly service. Was in and out quickly. However, Rooms-to-Go recommended a furniture removal company called "Absolute Furniture Removal" that was terrible, caused damage to the property, has refused to pay for it, and stuck me with a $200 repair bill for their shoddy performance. During the removal of my sofa, "Absolute Furniture Removal" and his staff heavily damaged the ceiling of the elevator moving out my sofa, causing $200 worth of damage. "Absolute Furniture Removal" made a big deal about handling the damage with my property manager. However, it has been three weeks and after two emails from my property manager to "Absolute Furniture Removal", he has not replied and stuck me with a $200 bill I have to pay for his poor performance. Don't use this guy. Find another option. Saddened that this was "Rooms-to-Go"'s recommendation and the company they provided contact information for. They should be held responsible too and aware of whom they are doing business with, as it reflects on them as well. read more

I bought a bedroom set and specifically asked the sales person about a foundation needed for my mattress. I was told "no". Well come to find out, i did need one. I called and complained and the conversation turned into a she said she said conversation. I was told that I could come in and order and buy a foundation and then it will be delivered. Why should I have to go in there and BUY one and pay another delivery charge and wait another 10 days for delivery, when I just spent $2700. In the last month there on furniture and I specifically asked if I needed a foundation at the time of purchase and was told no. I guess I dont need a bed or to sleep. We had a terrible experience trying to buy a sofa, love seat, and chair. We had decided to buy the whole living room group only to learn at checkout that the tables we wanted and shown with the group were discontinued. Other similar tables were more expensive. Finally an acceptable replacement could not be delivered at the same time as the furniture and would be dropped off in the office not taken to the condo. Since we live in another state, this would not work. Both the sales lady and manager were very rude and not at all interested in making a sale. We canceled the sale. I won't ever return. My mom knows I'm in the market for a new dining room, and Rooms To Go once had the one I'm considering. My grandmother is town so us girls went to look at. Well Rooms To Go no longer had the set I was looking for but we looked around a bit. While browsing I spotted a small urn that is just like one I have in my cart on Amazon Prime but for $12.99 instead of $19.99. So I thought awesome I'll get it here. Well the sales lady came and I went to buy it. During that time me, my mom, and grandmother had all gotten split up because my grandmother had to go to the bathroom (twice) and my mom struggles to walk. Anyways, the lady tells me this is her only sale for the day and how she'll only make like 20¢ on my little purchase. We made more small talk and she started saying she needed my information to set up an account. Okay, I figured I'd be getting more junk mail but I agreed. She then asked for my drivers license. Thinking it was odd I still handed it over without question. She went further and asked for the phone number of someone I'm associated with like my mom's number. This time I at least thought a little clearer to give my mom's number that is saying it is no longer in service. Lastly, she asked for my car tag number. That is when I lost it. I rode in with my grandmother and I refused to give this information away so freely. She had told me after a purchase you get escorted to the door. So I went straight to the door hoping my mom and grandmother would know where I was. It wasn't until after I left that I began to wonder if I was being accused of shoplifting, but who shoplifts in a furniture store!? I can tell you I don't! I work in information assurance and hold a security clearance; and have worked most of my life so I have too much pride to lift a cheap vase. Myself, I work in sales and I know how much a first impression means the second someone walks on the floor. I made sure to even make full complete eye contact with multiple reps and not even a "hello" or a "may I help you". We walked around for probably 30 minutes and still nothing. I was looking for a glass table and chairs set for my dining area and found what I was looking for at rooms to go at the new beach location. The sales rep was fantastic and was very kind, and efficient at her job. She showed us the floor model of the table and chairs set we had wanted and it looked perfect! No chipped paint, scratches, or staple holes in the wood chair backs. However, like most things at rooms to go you have to order it from their warehouse and have it delivered to your house. This is where the dissatisfaction begins....first the earliest delivery time wasn't until 3 weeks after purchasing the furniture due to their lack of drivers that would be delivering in our area. So they came out to deliver and assemble the furniture. My husband pointed out tbat all 4 chairs had small pin-like holes in them, and two of the chairs and table base had chipped paint. Two of the chairs were also wobbly and uneven. The delivery person told him he would still have to sign and accept the furniture, but that he could call the wharehouse manager on monday to put in a claim for defective merchandise and get a new delivery set. So Monday my husband called and was told that they would have to send a claims adjuster to take pictures of the defective furniture first before they could deliver the furniture. So we had set an appointment with the claims adjuster for their earliest appointment which was another 3 weeks! Unhappy but compliant we set the appointment. We had a death in the family so we had to call to reschedule the appointment for the following week in which the rep on the phone supposedly rescheduled. The date came for the rescheduled appointment and Noone showed up. Rooms to go requires that someone be home the whole day from about 7am-5pm because they cannot give an exact time for delivery, thus causing my husband to lose a whole day of pay and time for each of these appointments. So when Noone came to the house to do the claim my husband called the office on the next business day to inquire why Noone showed up, and they replied that they had an appointment set for the previous week (in which we called to reschedule )and that the adjuster came out and no one was home so he left. My husband explained that we had called to reschedule. The rep replied well, there's nothing we can do the claims adjuster came out and there was no change in our appointment according to their system. (Basically calling my husband a liar). Thus outraged my husband and said that he is tired of all the BS and just wants a refund! The rep explained they cannot refund our money and that we would have to either just keep the merchandise the way it is or wait another 3 weeks for an adjuster to come out. So after a very long drawn out dispute with various sales reps and managers we finally decided to just wait another 3 weeks for the claims adjuster. So the adjuster came out took pics and submitted the exchange. We received a 2nd delivery only to have the same issues with the chairs and pedestal. So we had to go thru this procedure again! It has been about 5 months now since we ordered our furniture from rooms to go and still have not received quality merchandise. We are expecting our 3rd delivery this weekend and they are bringing 2 pedestals fir us to choose from and we gave up on the chairs and have just accepted them with the pin holes and some areas of chipped paint. Hoping this will be the end of the horrible experience as my husband has already lost 4 days of pay and time in which rooms to go will do nothing to compensate. My advise to you is buyer beware! Worst customer service ever. Spent an hour looking at furniture and having a sales person follow us around listening in on our conversation but having no qualified input. He did promote a sale when we walked in and when I asked when the sale was ended he commented we always have a sale. Not helpful, just answer the question, besides if you always have a sale then nothing is really on sale. We found something we wanted then went to do more shopping while we made our decision. When we went back to order it ended up being $100 more due to shipping which they didn't disclose when we spent an hour looking. On top of all this Scott was pretty rude when taking our information. He would ask a question then not wait for the full answer before interrupting plus his precious tablet kept freezing up on him. He acted as if we were bothering him. We ended up not buying due to the shipping cost and his attitude. When we called the store to talk to the manager about how we were treated he didn't care and went on about how they are a top selling store. I've bought furniture from this Rooms to Go twice now. Both times were a disaster. They absolutely LIED to me both times. The first time I had to threaten a law suit to get my money back because I paid for the furniture in full and they told me that they could ship it to Georgia no problem. Once they had my money they told me they couldn't ship it to me OR refund my money. Dozens of phone calls and having to go to a different location to get a refund, finally worked out. Well fool me once..... I did it again. Ordered a sleeper loveseat and was delivered on time but DAMAGED. The delivery guy said oh no problem, someone will call you shortly and bring another one today. Of course nobody ever called and when I called, they said "he lied to you " (seriously, their own words) and even had no record of any problem with being damaged. We recently moved to Florida and wanted some new furniture. We just purchased from "Rooms To Go" a large living room suite. Coffee table came chipped but the promptly replaced. We were looking for an entertainment console but were particular about what we wanted. "Rooms To Go" had a lot of different choices but nothing like what we wanted except one piece. We ordered the one piece. $600 for the console (on Sale). When arrived it had obvious scratches across the front draw. Asked the driver to note it on ticket. Next day I called customer service to also let them know the cabinets on each side were different sizes and one shorter than the other. They arranged for a new draw to be sent and a repair person to come out. Draw arrives the day before repair scheduled. When opening box found draw was wrong stains, rails and screws along the side was falling off and draw banged up. Left everything for their repairmen. Repairmen confirmed cabinet's different sizes, draws wrong stains and screws falling off. He took pictures and said they would get back to me. No Call! FIVE days later I called customer service asking for my money back. Along with issues listed there were several stain issues. They said they would give us store credit or new console. Not good enough! There is nothing else I wanted in the store and it is obvious this manufacturer was poor quality. For $600 I want the product to be perfect and will keep sending it back till it is! I have had the worst experience with Rooms to Go and would like other consumer to be aware. I bought the beach sofa set that have removal sofa covers. When I decided to wash not because they were stained but just because I wanted to keep them fresh they bled out and white and beige spots came across the fabric. I used extra care, did not dry. When I called rtg they were very rude, did not offer a solution even though I had paid extra for their version scotchguard. They will not back up their warranties and will try to find a loop hole. I came in to buy my mom a sectional. We quickly made the choice and I went to pay. The salesman took it upon himself to add leather treatment and warranty for approx $300. He then called a female manager to over ride something and she took it upon herself to add another charge for a card where mom could get 20% off if she came in and purchased a "picture or Something" later. The manager became very short and seemed frustrated when I said I wanted nothing added. I should of walked out right then and there but I just came down from TN to do something nice for my mom.
