Solid experience. Met with a sales associate when we walked in and told him we were looking for a…read moreliving room set. He told us where in the store they were located and even said they have 2 sets just moved to the "discount" area that may be worth checking out. Left us to roam around on our own and said he would be in the main aisle if we had questions. They have a lot of merchandise from high end to budget. Ended up buying a set and overall very happy with the experience. The people delivering the set were awesome. As they moved a dresser a couple of times to let us decide where it should go, left the place spotless, asked if they wanted them or us to remove the tags.

They were listed online as "in stock." I texted to make sure they were in stock and was assured they were. They told me the price which was $10 more than the listed price. First red flag, but not a deal breaker. Went to the store and saw the chairs in person, asked to purchase four. The salesperson said they were "in the warehouse" and he'd "have to check if the owner will break up the set." The set? They are listed as single chairs. He promptly came back and said no, it's 3-4 weeks for them to order the chairs. Huh? I asked for four chairs before coming in! We left and purchased chairs elsewhere. Furniture quality is meh, I'll stick to Ethan Allen. We don't mind ordering and waiting. We do mind inquiring and being told misinformation to get us to drive to the store. Our time is valuable too!

We were in store for July 4th sales, and now it's Labor Day (more than two months later), and we still don't have a timetable for delivery with all the pieces we ordered. We were never contacted about the delay, and we've reached out to them a couple of times with no resolution. Left a message for the manager, and he never called back. It seems like great furniture, but the overall customer service experience is lacking.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience with Knoxville Wholesale Furniture. This review…read moreis for the following location: 410 North Peters Road location in North Knoxville I have never dealt with a company that was this unprofessional, unreliable, and careless with its customers. My order was wrong, the wrong items were sent, and instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem, I was left dealing with excuse after excuse. What is even more frustrating is that I was specifically told that customer care had been arranged to handle the situation. That turned out not to be true. I was given assurances that were not followed through on, leaving me to chase the company myself just to get answers about a problem they created. This is not what customer service should look like. When a company makes a mistake, the least a customer should expect is honesty, accountability, communication, and a genuine effort to make things right. I experienced none of that. My experience left me feeling that once they had my money, the level of concern for me as a customer dropped dramatically. The management was poor, the communication was poor, the service was poor, and the handling of the situation was completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from this company to think twice and do their research first. A furniture purchase is a significant expense, and customers deserve to know that the company they are giving their money to will actually stand behind the order and provide support when something goes wrong. For me, this has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing purchasing experiences I have ever had. The lack of accountability and follow-through has completely destroyed my trust in this company. Wrong order. Wrong items. Broken promises. Poor communication. Poor management. Poor customer service. I would not recommend Knoxville Wholesale Furniture based on my experience, and I will not be giving this company my business again.
