They left drain covers uninstalled on drains, a ponding issue that needs repair on garage, the coping installed was incorrect and left a 3% slope in a few areas, water damage repair was needed inside over the kitchen area and electrical weather head supports were not reinstalled. Michael and Ryan were clean and meticulous in their work. Michael also did a great job managing the process of handling the engineering plans, permits, and sub-contractors. In addition, despite all the work they had to do, they always went out of their way to make sure we weren't being inconvenienced by the noise or their comings and goings. AVE Construction came to the rescue when our roof started leaking after a windstorm. The roof had…read morebeen modified by the previous owner and had some questionable ridges protruding from the chimney. AVE removed the roof, reformed the ridgeline, replaced all of the old particle board with durable plywood, and it is so beautiful now. A complete transformation. We had them install cedar shake shingles in our eaves as well. The work was amazing, the price was incredible and the people were wonderful. It was literally the best contracting experience I have ever had. I highly recommend them for any of your home projects, you will not be disappointed!

This company is less than responsive. They hire the cheapest labor they can find and use shoddy…read morematerials. (For example; they replaced a kitchen counter top with a poorly manufactured covering that left sharp edges exposed.) My kitchen sink was removed by a remediation company who subsequently damaged it, at a later date AVE disposed of the sink with the garbage disposal attached, then claimed it wasn't their fault and are refusing to replace it. All in all, they have taken more than two years to do a job that should have taken four months maximum.

I am writing to express our disappointment with how our property was treated during the recent…read moreroofing project Cloise and Mike Construction, Inc. provided. While the roof itself appears to be well done, the condition in which our property was treated and left is unacceptable. During the course of the work, your crew drove over shrubbery in our backyard in order to fit vehicles, smashing them flat and causing damage to the established landscaping. They also cut limbs from a tree we planted years ago as a memorial, leaving it disfigured. At no point were we asked for permission to cut any limbs or shrubs, nor were we informed that this had been done--we discovered the damage on our own afterward. The limbs were not properly removed but instead discarded onto other vegetation, leaving us to clean up the debris. Additionally, plants were cut back to accommodate vehicles in the rear driveway, and several bushes were run over and flattened. Old plywood removed from the roof was thrown onto our deck, landing on outdoor furniture. Crew members also walked through and stood in garden areas, trampling new spring bulbs. We were particularly surprised to find that a log had been dragged out of the forest and onto our lawn for use as a seat during break time, and then left there for us to remove. We understand that roofing can be a messy job with missed nails on the ground or some debris that had blown into bushes etc., but we chose to work with a small, local business in hopes of receiving more care and respect for our home and property. Unfortunately, this experience has not reflected that expectation.

This is the 4th project JC has completed for us including two major - rewrapping 3 sides of the house with new Hardibacker siding, and repainting the entire exterior of the house and outbuildings, then adding an AZEK deck, and finally replacing the front door with a new front door and sidelights that Home depot couldnt do.
