Roosters is Roosters, what can I say? They have wings, bone-in and boneless, subs and sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, salads, and a variety of appetizers and menu items for kids. Our location has kids night every Wednesday where they do face painting. Probably not a good night to go if you do not have kids or are on date night. It can get quite hectic in there. Other nights, though, you can sit at the bar and eat or sit wherever you like, as long as there is not a wait list. The wings are good, drums can be pretty good size. They are breaded and that is the only way they are offered. Not much to choose from as far as healthy goes, but they do have good salads that are offered in half or full-size. The full size is huge. The pizzas are not bad either, thin crust, and a variety of options. They always have sports on multiple televisions and a self-serve lottery terminal for keno and other games. They serve Coca-Cola fountain beverages and other non-carbonated beverages. Friendly staff. read more

This Roosters is fantastic! I am used to the much too small location in Lancaster, where it's even too small to get in to retrieve your food for takeout, let alone dine in! I believe this Circleville location is a former Bob Evans, so plenty of room inside. We went on a Saturday evening during the height of dinner rush, and were seated right away. Our waitress was prompt and fantastic. Not a knock to most waitresses, but both my wife and I agreed that our waitress looked and acted like she should be doing more, something like rocket science or medicine. This is totally a compliment to our waitress because like I said she was awesome! As for the food, it came out prompt, hot, and what else can be said, its Roosters, so of course it's awesome. Stopped by from out of town. Before ordering the waitress informed us that the place is very hectic and the food was coming out very slowly. Appreciated a heads up on the slow kitchen so I had no problem with that. Now for the order. I ordered a hamburger & fries which you would think was a simple request. The menu stated all burgers & sandwiches came with lettuce & tomato. If you wanted the works you needed to tell the waitress. I requested no cheese. Well, after nearly an hour, the food came out. My hamberger was plain, no lettuce, no tomato but I did get the pickle I ask for. Three little dill chips. Didn't get the fries I requested and the waitress stated she would have an order put in for them. I told her to forget it that I didn't want to wait another hour just for fries plus my plain hamburger would have been cold by then. The waitress stated that she was sorry for the mix up. read more

Inconsistent on their takeout. One day they'll be fine and the next they're worse than a fast food. I order here a lot, because of the lack of competition in town therefore consider myself very knowledgeable in this. I've had times when they've barely given me what I ordered and times when I was told to wait at the bar only to be completely forgotten. However I put most of the blame on the cooks. Once I asked if they could make sure to put cheese on it because the last time had none, so the cook drowned it with way too much cheese. read more

I'm sorry but this is the worst Roosters ever in my opinion. And I love Roosters.. my husband gets it a lot after work so we usually order to take it home. But every single time it's messed up and it really pisses me off... sorry for my language. I won't spend any more money there. It is disappointing. I get hot wings instead of bbq.. I get my salads without dressing... I call to pick up food, they tell me it will be ready in 30 minutes - I get there 30 minutes later, and still had to wait 45 minutes until I finally got my food... I don't even know why I ordered again today, and received a messed up order.. so today was my last time I'm done with paying for wrong food. read more

We were seated promptly. There seemed to be some confusion on who was supposed to be our server. A hostess came to our table and got our drinks. After nearly 10 minutes, a server finally came by and asked us if we needed anything. We told her that we didn't know who our server was and we haven't placed our order yet. She went to find her manager and came back a few minutes later. She told us there was confusion over a shift change and that she would be our server. She took our order, which included some appetizers and entrees. It took about 15 minutes to get the apps, which were brought out by the hostess. Later, the entrees were brought out by the same hostess. I ordered Rooster's fingers grilled with barbecue sauce on them. Usually they are covered in sauce, but this time there was sauce on only one side. One of the fingers was very salty compared to the other. When gave the hostess a tip as well, since she seemed to work just as hard or harder than the server. The manager never came around to tables. We saw her outside of the kitchen talking to some employees. If she would have come around to our table, I was prepared to show her the 3 rating on Yelp and ask her if she was satisfied with it. There shouldn't be a breakdown in who serves which tables. That's the job responsibility of the manager and had she been out on the floor instead of hiding in her office, maybe she would have noticed that we didn't have anyone serving us. read more

We stopped at Roosters for a quick lunch. It was a while since we'd been there and we were pleased at the changes to the menu. Ann ordered the Quesadillas and, at the suggestion of Christine, our waitress, I got the Italian pizza. Ann got unsweet iced tea which was freshly brewed, nice and strong. I just ordered water with lots of limes. Christine brought me water and, unlike most servers, an entire cup of lime slices!! Our food arrived shortly after. The quesadillas were fairly mundane but had good flavor which would have been helped by some homemade salsa instead of the bottled stuff. Some hot queso cheese on top of everything would have raised the bar considerably. The pizza was surprisingly excellent. A thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of chewiness along the edges. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The real star of our visit was Christine. She stopped by the table numerous times, asked if everything was good and if we needed anything. She brought new drinks before ours were two thirds empty. We're looking forward to our next trip where I'll try the "The Works" pizza. ...or the meat lovers. ...or the buffalo chicken. ...or their great wings. read more

Just moved here from Buffalo,NY a month ago,haven't tried any wings yet so.. I ordered some from Roosters, I asked for extra crispy mild. Mild was ok but for asking extra crispy not close.. And for the wings eh they are alright. But nothing compares to Buffalo Wings. read more

Wasn't expecting anything spectacular just your typical wing & sandwich joint. Medium flavored wings and a BLT. The takeout container literally had a puddle of oil in the bottom. One side of the wings were near done but the underside was wet and soggy. It was like the oil inside the wings was draining from the top to the bottom. I've had better wings from Walmart, which is across the street and I will know to go to next time. This is just my experience. The wait staff was friendly and quick. Food was ready when I got there and earlier than time given by order taker. Waitress was quick and polite even though they were busy. Service was very slow even though they weren't overly crowded. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, which was bland, and under-seasoned. I've been to several different wing establishments over the years, but this place by far has the best wings.10 drums hot garlic is my go to. I'm always pleased with the quality of food even when i stray from wings for an occasional italian sub or dumpster wedge. Prices are also very reasonable. Beer is always cold too so you can't beat it. It doesn't hurt that the servers are very friendly and dare I say hot! But seriously the girls do a great job and always seem to be on top of what I need. One girl, hailey, wouldn't even have to speak and would have what I needed, napkin, beer,etc. She was sweet. I don't live very close to this particular Roosters but given the choice I come here as much as my wife will let me! Great atmosphere, great staff and above all, awesome FOOD. read more

We are new to the area and wanted to try this Roosters. We have been to other Roosters before and we love the food and environment. During our visit, it was clear that our waitress was NOT happy to be there. We came on 'kid night' (we don't have kids) and needless to say it was busy with kids. This was ok by us but our waitress was not happy about this. We were at our table for 10 minutes before she even approached us. Only after we grabbed a server walking by did she approach. She was rude and needed an attitude adjustment. We ordered everything all at once and she only dropped off our food, no beverages were refreshed during our meal. The food was good as always and that was the only positive. We hope to never have her again. Roosters--please evaluate your staff and if they are grumpy, send them home. Today we gave them one more chance and it didn't play out well at all. Again waited probably at least an hour and when our food came out it was not remotely hot. Even worse they burned my chicken sandwich then wiped off the breading in an attempt to keep me from noticing. We wound up leaving and going across the street to Buffalo Wild Wings. After some back and fourth over a coupon, our appetizer of mini corn dogs arrived. i took a bite into the first one and it was ice cold in the middle. We sent them back, and decided if they cant cook a corn dogs properly, how would our chicken be handled. Worst service in a long long time at any resturant. So I order a beer with my dinner order, my bride orders a soft drink. Her soft drink comes in minutes. 5 min later waitress passes and I comment on being thirsty. Oh sorry I will get it. 10 min pass. Still thirsty. Oh sorry sir...15 min pass. Miss... Would you please bring me my beer? This next time I see the waitress she appears with my beer and apologies. So after drinking half of my first beer I'm thinking after the chore of pouring the first beer I better ask the waitress when she passes for a second. Right away sir.. Here we go again. 5 min... 10 ...min. Two new tables seated with new customers and they order beers and presto... Beer appears within minutes with a different waitress. Now people are taking bets as to how long it will take to get my 2nd beer. The table next to me orders a second beer. Presto another beer appears in less than 2 min. So my food arrives and I ask for the 5th time about my beer order. Do you need to prove that I'm over 55? It is becoming funny to everyone who has received their beer. I inquire why everyone else can get a beer expect me. Everyone laughs.. It's not like I have had to much to drink because I have managed to only have one 16 oz beer in an hour. I'm not being loud I'm just wanting a beer. One guy at the table beside us say "hay man let me try to get your beer". The manager show up with the beer and excuses and of course and apology. Are you ready for this excuse. They lost the ticket...are you kidding me a ticket for my beer. What about the food that came,was it not on the same ticket. Ok let's assume you lost the ticket.. After I told the waitress the first time "where is my beer" every other restaurant finds the "beer ticket" or writes a new beer ticket and go get me the darn beer. Nope not at this establishment no sir. So now the newly seated patrons don't know the beer saga and have that look on their face like this old guy is just and unhappy guy. Luckily the patrons in the know explained the matter to newcomers. The service and situation was so bad that even the customers near me were embarrassed for the waitress and manager. I refused the comped beer when it arrived toward the end of my meal but did ask for a glass of water.. And yes I had to ask for the water twice. Signed still thirsty. read more

We eat here frequently. They have the best managers and waitresses of all of the dining establishments we go to! We probably go here twice a week, atleast, and hardly ever have issues with food, service, or anything else. Every restaurant has "those days", but we do not see many here! I love this place. I travel to Circleville Ohio once a month for business. And after doing so, I always stop off at Roosters.............. Yummy ! The company is great. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, The waitresses are all very friendly. I am so surprised they remember me so well (even my name and what I traditionally order and drink). The beer is priced right. And they even have all sorts of imports. I love the food !!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite right now are the dumpster fries and the fish tail sandwich. The dumpster fries have all sorts of things on it including cheese, real bacon and sour cream !! Yummmmmy ! I have no complaints at all. It's warm and cozy with plenty of parking. Holiday Inn Express is located next door for those of you traveling. It's just a really nice family restaurant. Ya know? There are so few places like that any longer. Everyone always makes me feel so happy when I go there. I really mean that. So, I felt inspired to write a positive review. :-) I miss you guys! I will be back however in about a month !! read more

I came in with six of my friends and to start off the night, the hostess sat us in a booth for six(there were seven of us) and the table was still dirty. Dishes and all. Then they made us move tables for safety reasons. We moved as they asked but were split up. The waitress that asked us to move told us that they allowed it earlier but could not now and she didn't know why. (The dishes were still on the table) the tables we moved to still were BOTH dirty. Overall this experience was not good. I recommend going to a different roosters if you really want it that bad. I'd rather drive further than be seated in multiple dirty tables. read more
