I usually stick to drip or an oatmilk latte. However, the summer special board intrigued me and I decided to try the coconut latte with oatmilk, less sweet with an extra espresso shot. My latte came with toasted coconut flakes sprinkled on top. It was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had in my life! The staff is friendly and efficient. The store not only has coffee and food, but filled with cute plants, stickers, totes, journals and more. Parking is also convenient in the lot. This is now one of my favorite spots, too!

As I Googled Succulents, so many choices came up. You can grow them from seeds, clippings or already rooted and potted. I chose the clippings, because it's like they're meeting me halfway and the cost was much better. Seeds would take several weeks before I would see a plant. So, I chose Annie's from Esty. She had the best priced offer of 30 clippings for around $25. They arrived within a few days via a small Priority Mail box. They shipped well all the way from CA. And, I received way more than 30 plants! I'd prepared for their arrival by purchasing special soil and pots with drainage. In botany, succulent plants are plants with parts that are thickened, fleshy and engorged, usually to retain water in arid climates or soil conditions. The word succulent comes from the Latin word sucus, meaning 'juice', or 'sap'. I spent time learning about these plants while waiting for their arrival. They require little watering and do well indoors. New plants can be created by taking off petals and propagating them. I was so excited! It was fun arranging them. They can be replanted later individually if needed. If they survive me, then, they're pretty hardy. They will also make excellent home office gifts for friends!

Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my impression. The cashier was not friendly and seemed impatient, which made the process uncomfortable and disappointing. The nursery does offer fair pricing and a wide selection of plants, which I appreciated. However, customer service--especially at checkout--is just as important. Because of this experience, I will likely choose to shop somewhere else next time.

I asked about a specific plant and understandably it wasn't available but they recommended a similar one. Instead of walking me over to show me where to find it, he just directed me to the location. A simple hello or a check-in would have gone a long way. I was an interested buyer, but walked away disappointed.
