I was assigned to Rooter 66 Plumbing by First American Home Warranty. I was able to get a same day appointment. The carpet in my living room was soaked in water but did not have any water fixtures/ sources around so I thought I had a slab leak. The plumber that came was professional and courteous. After diagnosing the problem, he was able to identify that I didn't have a slab leak but rather a pipe leak in the wall. Unfortunately, their company doesn't handle pipe leaks in the wall so the job had to be referred to another plumber. read more

The Rooter 66 plumber was unable to do the job and referred out to another plumber that has not been responsive since completing their job, despite the promise of the warranty. The home warranty company initially assigned me to several different companies that had horrible reviews & reputations. I kept pressuring them and was finally assigned to Rooter 66 Plumbing. Rooter 66 Plumbing is AMAZING. Susan really took care of me through this entire process. She was experienced in working with the warranty company and truly became an advocate on my behalf. We would up having to have a whole new water heater installed and Susan, once again, worked with the warranty company to pay for the proper water heater and expedite the paperwork as we hadn't had water in 5 days. These guys are great - they cleaned up a huge mess left by another company in the shower. The tech is very knowledgeable and minimized the amount of work needed to stop a leak. The other company recommended that we open up the drywall to cap the line to stop the leak but Rooter 66 was able to do so without removing the drywall. Keep flagging my review. *****STEER CLEAR OF THIS THIEF***** This company cannot even unclog a main line. Had this worthless company come out to clear a clog. Not to mention cannot understand English and gets mad at you for him not being able to understand. Anyway, brings out his snake cannot figure out which way the pipes go after 30 minutes of trying to figure it out. In the meantime water goes down to the septic tank and he pretends it's all fixed. Ummmm no. Not in the least bit. Called that night since there is SUPPOSED TO BE A WARRANTY and he answers the phone drunk and tells me to call another plumber. That's the warranty I received. Absolutely the worse experience. They were assigned to my Home Warranty Case for water heater repair. Technician came, looked, never even took off parts of use voltmeter. Water heater was still under manufacturers warranty for parts. So he Submitted tons parts to replace without any diagnostic, which water heater company declined. They explained that they can only send one part at time, and it was guessing game which one will solve the issue. We were without hot water for 6 days!!!! It gets better. Repair technician had us call water heater company ourselves. Of course they immediately said "we want to talk to the technician and need to know exactly what part needed". Absolutely ridiculous runaround, I literally had the insurance company and Water heather company talking on speaker to each other without results for a while. Needless to say, shocked by incompetence level of the company's repair personnel. He did nothing to diagnose which part was bad. I stood next to him. He just took a guess which turned into 6 days showering at the gym for me and the family. Just shameful. read more

I called the company today to setup an appointment for a 2nd opinion on my plumbing. I was more than likely going to go with this company however I was told by the reception they aren't taking 2nd opinion at the moment due to COVID. I wanted to get more information and I mentioned even if I'm going to go with this company, you still wouldn't send out anyone. She was rude and then hung up on me. I proceeded to call back just to see if I could receive more information but she wouldn't answer the phone. Maybe you no longer need any new clients or want positive referrals but whoever is answering the phones definitely isn't helping. read more

Awesome...very grateful. I can't say thank you enough to Susan and Mario.. They made every speedy effort to coordinate and replace my water heater the same day they came out (for a third diagnoses thanks to a week of sheer frustration with First American), all the way from Hysperia to Pomona, after what turned into an emergency work order from First American, due to First American's lack of quality plumbers. They sent a plumber who wanted to re-flood my garage and got mad and left before finishing the second diagnosis because I disagreed that he needed to "refill the water heater to see the leak" despite having shown him a video of the leak AND that it was already the second diagnosis). (OMG what an idiot). Rooter 66 was thankfully the exception and did a great job! They were "on the same page" in terms of everything I'd already researched about a replacement tank and got the job done. It looks great, works great, does what it's supposed to do. They communicated well. I could tell they "knew the drill" and exactly how to "get it done." We had a leak on hot water pipe. We gave 5 Star Plumbing & Rooter a call. Mario B came with water leak detectors equipment. After a few hours of searching, he came to a conclusion that the water leak was slab leak underneath the kitchen tile. He got it fixed; the hot water leak stopped. Yahoo!. They called me at 1:00 PM and said they would be there in 30 minutes. Arrived at 1:30. Work was completed at 2:15 PM. I had a plumbing issue that required a camera to pinpoint what was causing my bathroom shower to clog up. I called 5 start plumbing and they were there immediately with all the required tools. They were able to determine what was stuck in the tubes and were able to get it out. The cement construction they had to do was left as if they were never there. They were awesome!
