I had an excellent experience with Sparkling Fresh Water from beginning to end. I worked directly with Chris, the owner, and he was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything to me in detail, answered all of my questions, and gave me a very competitive price compared with the other companies I spoke with. What I appreciated most about Chris was that I never felt like I was talking to a salesperson. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely seemed interested in helping me choose the right setup for my house rather than just trying to sell me something. I came away from our conversation feeling like he was someone I could trust. Then Mario came out to do the installation, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. Mario was incredible. Our installation turned out to be more complicated than expected. The location we originally thought would work would have softened the water going to the outdoor hose bibs as well, which I specifically did not want because I use that water for my trees and landscaping. Mario caught this before doing the installation. Instead of just installing it where we originally planned and moving on, he stopped, explained exactly what he was seeing, and helped me figure out a better solution. He found another possible water line at the back of the house and told me he could test it first. He even reassured me that if we cut into the pipe and discovered that the plumbing wasn't routed the way we hoped, he would put everything back the way it was and wouldn't charge me for an installation that didn't work. That gave me a lot of confidence. We tested the line, and fortunately it turned out to be perfect. Within about 15 minutes, Mario was able to demonstrate exactly how the plumbing was divided: this line supplied the inside of the house, while the other line also supplied the outdoor hose bibs. That meant we could soften the entire house while leaving the outdoor water untreated, exactly how I wanted it. Mario was extremely patient, professional, knowledgeable, and just genuinely pleasant to work with. He could have easily taken the faster route, but instead he took the time to make sure the system was installed correctly for my house and my needs. That kind of attention and integrity is something I really appreciate. Between Chris taking the time to educate me and give me a fair price, and Mario going above and beyond during the installation, I couldn't be happier with my experience. Nice work and they cleaned up everything afterwards. They installed the system and explained how it all works. The installation was much more involved than I realized (takes 4+ hours) but the system is so simple to use once it is installed. I am glad I went with this company. The owner Chris was great to deal with by phone. He explained the product well and accommodated last minute change in install date. Pricing was reasonable. Apparently the valve is important and different companies just slap on their "brand" on the same valve to charge more. The equipment installed is top notch, made in the USA. I also appreciate Josh and Chris sharing their concern about our water pressure regulator. Will look into that. I recently had a whole-house water filter with RO installed by Sparkling Fresh Water, and I'm very happy with the results. The owner, Chris, is extremely nice to talk to and patiently answers all questions. The only downside is that he's always very busy, so sometimes it takes a little effort to catch him. The technician, Mario, was excellent. He clearly knew what he was doing and installed everything in a very professional way. I really appreciated how he thought through all the possible options before installation and suggested the best placement for the filters, making sure there were no unnecessary holes or hassles. One of the best parts is that my RO line was connected to my fridge -- now I can enjoy refreshing, chilled RO water straight from it! One small thing I wish I had known earlier: there's an option to choose between a standard RO system or an RO with an alkaline filter for the same price. I only found this out after the installation was complete, and since Mario didn't bring the alkaline option with him, it couldn't be switched afterward. So if you're planning to install an RO system, I recommend confirming with Chris ahead of time whether you'd like the standard RO or the alkaline RO, so he can bring the right one. Sometimes you make good decisions and sometimes GREAT decisions. My decision to go with Chris @ Sparkling Fresh Water was easy after I spoke with several competitors. Chris is very knowledgeable and easy to discuss how his filtration and softener works. We read SFW reviews and one of his installers named Mario kept coming up. We knew we wanted this man to do our install as well. Chris made it happen. On install day Mario showed right on time and ready to go. I'd noticed in reviews it's best to give him some space to set up his work station. So Mario had use of my garage and right next to where the softer tanks would be installed. First thing Mario did was install the under sink reverse osmosis system and holding tank. He was so fast putting it together. It was amazing. The softener went in next. It all fits perfectly and does not obstruct the entry/exit of our cars. Mario is probably the best copper plumbing installer I've ever seen. Each joint was perfect, and all lines level. He had to run a drain line about 25 feet and go through a wall to drain into my washing machine drain. Thanks Chris and Mario. Welp, all the 5 star reviews are true. Chris is not just the owner of a top-notch water company, he also serves on a couple of water boards... this man KNOWS what he's talking about. And his price was indeed 1000s of dollars cheaper than at least 2 other quotes we got. And Mario... OMG! Chris... give this man a raise! Lol. Mario worked by himself for like 9 hours and the guy is a genius, a skilled craftsman, a good problem solver, he has a passion for cleanliness, and an obsession with perfection. Had a broken " up flow valve," only had the product for 10 month. The valve must have been a defective (things happen). Chris was a great help and very knowledgable. He took the time to talk to me over the phone and provide a replace at no charge. The fact is, sometimes people leave you hanging and just take your money. Chris took responsibility and fixed the issue. I'm glad he didn't charge me for the part, but he did charge for coming out. I get it, labor cost. I don't understand how this business has so many good reviews. Chris is the worst business owner ever. He doesn't respond to messages or calls and it's so hard to get a hold of him. I had my water filtration system and water softener installed by them and I've had cloudy water coming from the water filter for the past 6 months after having it installed less than a year ago and the owner gaslights me and says that's impossible. Is he saying I'm a Liar???? He is so rude and unprofessional. Even though his water filtration system and water softener is cheaper compared to other companies, it's not worth it getting it with him since he's not responsive and unreliable. I can't even get him to come out to change the water filters because he's not available. I am so unhappy with this company and regret getting my water filtration installed by them. Sparkling fresh water installed their water softener/filtration system along with a reverse osmosis system a little over one week ago at my house and I am beyond astounded at how much my skin has healed so rapidly after just *ONE* single week of bathing in my new water (attaching a before & after picture). I wanted one of these systems for years but always shut down the idea because of the predicted high price tag I assumed would inevitably come along with it. I finally decided to shop around after staying at an airbnb with soft water and seeing such a difference in my skin after only a couple of days. I found this company on yelp and aside from their amazing reviews which is always what i'm basing my decisions on, I love that this company specializes in water treatment rather than it being an option at a plumbing company that does a bunch of other services. This is their specialty niche. I called and the owner Chris answered on the first try & I asked him some intro questions. I was very pleasantly surprised that the price he quoted me was a decent bit more affordable than I was expecting. I told him i'd think about it and that i'd call him back. I then contacted a couple different general plumbing companies that supposedly offered similar systems and after speaking with them about the details, it was very clear to me that Sparkling fresh water was the best choice by far. I then called Chris back and he very kindly gave me a more in depth understanding of the systems and answered all of my questions. He's also a licensed plumber and I believe he has a contractors license too if I'm remembering correctly which just added to my peace of mind. Luckily he was able to schedule me for the install about a week later because I was eager! The installer Mario was so lovely & he did such an amazing job with the install. He had to install a lot of pipes along the wall/ceiling of my entire garage leading to the side of the house and he got it done in only one day! Very time efficient and beautifully neat work. Chris then came after everything was installed to inspect the work and collect payment (which I also love that he doesn't collect until after everything is done and the customer is satisfied) & answered my entire list of about 30 questions I had written down to ask him because i'm a paranoid psycho with things like this.
