I keep popping into this mall store as well as Roots Outlet looking for a specific jacket. Roots products are high quality and command brand recognition throughout the world. I found this out when I was recently in Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong. When selecting clothing I want to buy, I don't buy Made in China items but heavily favour Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. The cotton used feels and wear so much more comfortable. Anyhow, customer inquiry/service is great. I just haven't found the desired zipper in a liner jacket yet but I'll keep looking as the spring collection should be coming out soon! read more

with the Olympics coming up, I need it to get my Canada gear and were our colours proudly. So a trip to Roots was a must, plus they once were the official outfitter of the Canadian National Olympic Team. Now they just are a proud Canadian brand. While they have mostly been known for their winter gear, they have stepped it up with the summer clothing lines. An they are really playing on our emotions with the Canada logos. As a proud Canadian I am happy to support this great brand! Plus I got a shoulder bag here that I really like and now they have a new one that I just has to get. And who does not have a pair of their famous my sister even has that little monkey that is made from the same materials. I defiantly like the brand and the lifestyle they represent. read more

I've been here a few times with the past few days due to the sales and I am impressed as I experienced a friendly staff that acknowledges the customer and works hard in keeping the store to the high standards. I recommend anyone within the mall to come check this store out especially if you are into the comfy roots lines. read more

This is a smaller Roots store within the mall. Not much to look at in here. I was looking mostly at the purses. They are darned expensive & never seem to go on sale. Walked out empty handed without a sales clerk even greeting me. read more

this branch has ok customer service. some days it has been very very bad. terrible in fact. at times it has been okay. just the tone of voice makes me want to run away from the store. guys, hire some energetic people who really want to work and care about customers. seriously. read more

I bought a pair of boots here about a year ago, because I had a pair before, and they were really good. Key word being "were". When I tried them on in the store, they fit ok, they were a little bit snug on top of my foot, but all shoes have to be worn in. When I tried to wear them, one of them kept scraping the back of my heel and made it sore. I only had them on for about 2 hours, but they made the two toes on the outside of both of my feet completely numb. I brought them back to the store to see if there was anything they could do for me (since they cost around $250, and they hurt my feet so badly I couldn't wear them). It was past 30 days, but since this was an unusual circumstance, I thought maybe they would make an exception and give me a refund. The woman behind the counter was making faces like she was trying not to laugh from the moment I walked in, and the entire time I was talking to her, which I thought was very rude. She asked me why I bought them if they were too tight. As if the problem I was having was my fault. They weren't "too tight" when I bought them. They're just not quality boots anymore. I have never had a problem like this with any other brand of shoes or boots. I don't need wide shoes, these are just not good quality. Their boots used to have a one year warranty, but they don't anymore. I asked her if there was anything that could be done, and she said I would probably just have to take them somewhere to be stretched. (After spending so much money on these boots, having to spend even more money just so I could wear them wasn't what I wanted to hear). She said she could take my name and phone number and have a manager call me. I never heard from anyone. I'm extremely disappointed in the level of customer service. The quality of their boots has also gone down significantly since the last pair I had. Compared to how they used to be, the leather they use now is paper thin. These boots are sitting in my closet collecting dust, because I can't wear them, and they wouldn't take them back. The worst part is the $250 I've wasted on them. I will never shop at Roots again. read more
