The selection is pretty good as the prices have gone up alot. I would wait until end of July for further reductions. You can usually find a bargain like jeans for $29.99 or less. The resort shirts have unique design elements and quality material. Zara recently had a major online sale and I got a ton of stuff that I didn't get to try on first, which meant many returns. Since the malls were open again, I decided to return in store to avoid any surprise shipping costs. This Zara has many sections including a men's, women's, and child's section. Right now the entrance into the child section is roped off. There is a maximum capacity for the store so they have to count the incoming patrons. There is hand sanitizer at the front when you walk in and at checkout. There are still social distancing stickers on the floor and there is plexiglass at checkout to protect everyone. This Zara was pretty organized compared to a lot of other ones I've been to. There was also a substantial area with sales. This was seemingly a little more disorganized since they were one off items that were very different from each other kinda thrown together. The return process was very simple. The cashier scanned a barcode on my invoice and the matching items that I returned. She let me know what the refund would be processed to the original card that I used and printed off a receipt, and that was that! Easy peasy. read more

Worst customer service ever. Zara Scarborough Town Centre employees are rude and unhelpful. The workers are annoyed by returns, as they said they were too busy. One worker would not accept my return because she had to look up the purchase date and said she looked already??? I went back the next day, and another worker processed my return - no problem. I complained to her about the situation, and she said, "Oh yeah, it's because we are really busy in the evenings, and I think she (the previous worker - who she knew) was tired." Like? Unreal. Horrible customer service. An individual shoe caught my eye. When I brought it to TWO sales associates' attention, they brushed me off completely. The first sales associate told me to go around the store to find a pair of flats so she could scan the barcode. When I come back, she then proceeds to completely ignore until I stare INTENTLY AT HER. Even then, she just goes, "look around the store. Good luck." Similar sentiments were uttered by another girl. HOW ARE YOU EVEN IN SALES?! Worse customer service ever, if I could give them zero stars I would. Zara will no longer get my money ever again. The workers are very racist and their return/exchange policy stinks. I got a leggings for a gift and wanted to exchange it and was willing to pay the difference and the so called manager was being rude and said they can't take it without the receipt. Mind you the tags were still intact and everything. Then I was trying to call different stores to see if the policy that the manager said about exchanges but all the calling were ringing out without a voicemail. I've notice that they are very colourist when it comes to who works yhere however after this rude incident I notice how bad they actually are. read more

I would give this 0 stars. . Worst Zara location I've been to is the one in STC, I request you all not to go especially during a pandemic. I just gotten a chance to visit the store today. It seems like they hired bunch of CSR who has no idea what a pandemic is. At 10:59 I was waiting in line for me to return one item. It was understandable that the person few people ahead of me was taking time to return due to technical difficulties or something in her return. It was her right. But after waiting for 30 minutes, one of the csr walks in with the customer and helped the customer bud in line infront of another person, who was next. At that time I was second in line. The customer who was helped by the csr lady had 10+ items to return which took another 40 minutes. This was really rude because when we asked her about this she told us to wait and said that the customer was waiting for a long time in another line in the women section. Which was really odd to me because they clearly said that the return section was in the men's department. As we waited for that customer to return her 10+ item the return line kept increasing which was definitely breaking the social distancing rules that store must obey. At that time there were two CSR helping one girl with her return, when they couldn't think of opening up the next cash register. During this pandemic we were made to stand so close to other people waiting for another 40+ minutes. Zara is not following the social distancing rule as the customers kept increasing and moving close.The manager didn't seem to care as she just walked by. Zara HQ must look into this. I received a top as a Christmas gift from Zara Canada. It was way too big for me so I decided to return it and get something else. I went to the Scarborough Town Centre location - waited in line for 30 minutes only to find out that I could not get a credit because I didn't have the receipt. The tag was still on and the top was clearly from Zara. Every other store I have returned tagged items without a receipt have given me a credit. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and I will never shop at Zara again. Also your store is messy - clothes thrown all over the floor. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER ZARA read more
