Wanted to improve drainage in the backyard to prevent heavy rain ponding along back patio. The…read moreplan was to replace our existing drainage with a french drain system. Work was done in less than 2 weeks. It was muddy/dirty as they dug the trench for the drain while trying to avoid the existing sprinkler system in the yard. They connected existing backyard drains and some gutter downspouts where that made sense to the new drainage system. To complete the job, they repaired a few sprinkler heads and connections that were damaged and power washed sidewalks and driveway. They also saved the grass that was removed digging the trench and replaced them over the completed drain system.

At this point, we were a 75% "No" as the project was not something we were actively looking to fix. When I research vendors, I look for 2 things: 1. Will the people I hire work hard, stick to the schedule, and complete the work on time 2. Can I trust the company to deliver on exactly what they say they're going to do #2 is a judgment call and often a leap of faith. To address #1, I went to talk to my neighbor, who provided positive feedback and was happy with the work being done by Precise Masonry. The 75% No shifted to about a 50/50. We had a few additional candid conversations with Joe before we made a decision. We decided to proceed with the project and are 100% happy we did. The pictures don't do the end result justice and I feel the space has been transformed. The crew worked very hard, cleaned up after themselves, and completed the work on time. Speaking with Parris and getting the initial quote was a quick and easy process. Parris and his guys completed the paperwork we needed for HOA approval without issue, and installation happened quickly after our HOA gave us the go ahead. The installation itself was also completed quickly (2-3 days of work if I recall) and the best part other than the quality of the fence was that the way they install the fence posts leaves your yard looking exactly as it was before--no giant holes or dirt piles left behind. A few months ago, we needed a repair due to our landscapers accidentally shooting a rock through a fence panel. Parris was quick to respond and had his guys out there the next day to complete the repair at a reasonable price. They even noticed our gate wasn't shutting properly and made some adjustments on the spot at no additional cost without us asking. Most recently, we installed some pavers that went under our gate and needed some adjustments to be made to the height of the gate so the gate could close over the pavers.
