I'm most certainly I am real, and disgusted. I made an appointment with this place to get permanent winged eyeliner. I sent in photos of what I was looking for, which was on their website, and photos of my eye. I was explained that the procedure could be done, and to go ahead and make the appointment which I did. Upon arriving, the woman taking care of me, I believe her name was Chris, appeared to have no clue what she was doing. It took her about a half an hour to finally draw the winged eyeliner correctly on my eye. But even with that, she still found a way to royally mess it up, and now I am permanently disfigured thanks to her. The owner, now she is a piece of work. At first, she was very apologetic, and explained that after this healed that it would be fixed. Now mind you, because of how bad this came out, Chris explained to me that I did not have to pay. This was more than just not liking the outcome, this looks absolutely nothing like what I have asked for. The owner was fine with this. Just a few days later when I asked for something, the owner got all defensive and started stating that I owed her money. Lol, there is not a chance in this world that I would pay for what you did to me, lady. Now, if she would've came out, respectfully and made an appointment with me to have this done the correct way and fixed, I would've been more than happy to pay for it. Unprofessional is not the word, ghetto is more like it. There are so many more places that would do an incredible job, and not be treated the way I was. One of her workers also put his hands on me which she likes to deny, but that's OK. Please do not make the unfortunate mistake that I did in going to this place. Because of the incompetence of her worker, which clearly was not trained properly, I now have to walk around, looking like a fool. I received better treatment, in a way nicer environment, than I did at Safe and Gentle for the same cost. This place is expensive, but I do not believe they have the newest and best laser available. In fact, their cooling machine broke on my second visit, and I had the procedure done without. Impressive. I had an issue with their billing, which I explained directly to them. I vote with my wallet, so I will never return to this business. In my opinion, I believe the owners of this company put profit ahead of their customers.

So you never know the full scope of a shops expertise, if they have any. I spoke with Mike over the phone, as I'm actually living in Phoenix, AZ. If that doesn't tell you something, right? He was so helpful, and albeit an admitted capitalist, he had my best interests in mind and recommend to me a spot a bit closer to myself. This is very commendable, as most of everyone I've spoken with is ready to snag your money regardless of circumstance. Much like their website and YouTube page, Mike was very transparent over this call throughout our dialogue. No hidden agendas. No sales pitch. These folks are genuine, and when it comes to big decisions like tattoo removal, this is necessary. To close this out, although I have not gotten actual work done here, there's so many out there that can vouch already. My review is for a consultation only. I'll explain…read more.. I was greeted warmly upon entering. Because they're located on Park Avenue, I kinda expected them to be snooty, lol. They really couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. I was assisted by Carlos who was cool as heck. I appreciate the fact that Carlos told me up front that the color in my tattoo would not come out (I have a 28 y.o. Nefertiti tat. Her crown is shaded in blue and there's also some red and green in her necklace). They could easily get the black ink out, but with the colors, the laser wouldn't be able to differentiate between the ink colors and my glorious melanin. So the laser might remove all of the color, including my glorious melanin, and leave me with a pale spot there (hypopigmentation). There's also be a possibility that the skin in that area would darken (hyperpigmentation). Carlos told me of a Complete Removal package for $1,790 where you go back every eight weeks (to give your skin time to heal in between treatments) until your tat is completely gone. I was also told of a $690 package...that I wasn't too interested in because, initially, I was going to take the Complete Removal package. Another Yelper has mentioned in their review of Removary that if the whole $1,790 is not used, you will be refunded the unused portion, which sounds awesome. I've decided to keep Queen Nefertiti with me. I came to that decision after watching videos of people with skin like mine share their stories. Before going in, I thought tattoo removal would be the same for all. If you Google, you'll see a lot of pics of tats completely removed from white skin with just a couple of Black folks sprinkled in. There's a reason for that. And the tats removed from Black skin are all black ink tats. If you're white, they can completely remove your tat; black AND colored ink. If you're Black, they can get black ink outta ya, but colored ink, not so much. There are a couple of videos on You Tube where Black gals have shared their tattoo removal stories. There are a couple of videos on You Tube mentioning the PiQo4 and PicoSure lasers to completely remove tats from Black skin. However, those videos only make the claim. They do not show the results. After my consultation with Removary, I'd had another consultation at Disappearing Inc. Just for a consultation, they required a credit card number (if you cancel within 24 hrs, they charge you $50 for a weekday appt and $100 for a Saturday appt.) Once I was there, they also asked for I.D. When I asked what that was about, they gave me two excuses. Excuse #1: "it's for insurance purposes. We need to make sure the person who did their paperwork is the same as the one being treated." Do they really have THAT many people lying about who they are? Excuse #2: "It's just standard protocol because some choose to be treated during (the consultation)." Ok, but I never asked to be treated during mine.... Anywho, I prefer Removary because I didn't feel they were trying to bulls**t me. Nor were they condescending...
