I'll first say that the men that I witnessed working were extremely hard workers who got a very, very big job done in a thorough & record amount of time. That was the good thing. That being said, the NG thing is that they acted like they were in a vacuum & no one else had to put up with this lack of awareness or respect to what others were trying to do, like work from home. Here was my & the occupants of my houses' problems. ALL OF OUR BEDROOMS WERE 30 feet away from the work being done. Some of us have 2nd or 3rd shift jobs or sleep issues. Some of us TRY to work from home which includes talking on the phone. First day: an 18 wheel flatbed of materials & supplies pulls up early in the morning. Lots of yelling. Workers cars & trucks parked on our portion of the property, which was confusing to me. Why not park in front of property that work was being done on? & then I figured it out. They were trying to avoid debris from removal of roof from flying over & damaging their own vehicles. Lets just address the noise associated with the job, which you would expect with a new roof being put on. It was so loud, people that I was trying to have a professional conversation with on the phone or computer asked if I could either talk or call from another place because of the sound level. Not an exaggeration. My windows were all closed. The additional music of choice being played at full blast did not help. Workers yelling at each other. It has been 3 days of unpleasant soundlevels & distractions. and very disrespectful to the small community. Out of respect to the neighbor & owner I am not posting the videos that I took as proof. I only hope this serves to ammeliorate any future neighbors suffering or discomfort and allows people to do whatever they have to in their own homes in peace. There IS a limit to neighbors' patience levels.

They have repaired plywood that was not appropriate for roofing. They found a hole for venting an exhaust fan that was covered over by plywood. You stated you would be there at my home when the redo of the roof was done. You weren't. My current carpenters did the job and had gotten paid , and who knows when I will need them again in the future for restorative work roof or otherwise. They did their job and did it well. I've learned a fine lesson from this, research and ask numerous people for decent contractors. As for the owner of Elite, you eventually have to answer to a higher power. I've taken pictures, but they will stay with me. My carpenters did their job , and am proud of the work they did.

We had an issue with our basement windows. After many calls to various companies we settled on using Tonnotti. I am a huge advocate of using the mom & pop establishment. From the moment of contacting them we were upfront & honest that we would need to finance the job after the down payment. Every time we spoke with someone we got a song & dance about looking for a new company with better terms for financing. Skip ahead to the installation day, the work is completed & we were asked for payment. Imagine our surprise when that happened, we explained about the financing & the worker said he would have someone reach out to us. The office called & explained that their finance company didn't finance anything under $3,500 and we would have to find another way to pay. I was furious and told them so. I felt like we had been baited & switched because they knew our position. Then last week with all the rain we came home from a funeral service out of state to find out basement once again filled with water. You maybe asking yourself well how can that be? When we cut away the expanding foam the silicone they used around the window was a joke it was minimal & it pulled out without any effort. So now having to not only deal with a home in New Hampshire that a tree fell on, a mother who's had to move into assisted living I now have to deal with trying to find someone, I will have to pay more money, reliable to come in & fix the shawty workmanship of a shady company. Thank goodness we had the floor done not soon after so the water cleanup is so much easier. Update 7/17/24 the new pictures added to the end are from the rain on the 17th...this is what 3k gets you.
