Not much to complain about this location. Still the one place to get Mexican food and NOT get complimentary chips and salsa. You have to pay for it here. We did come late, they close at 2200 and we arrived around 2120. Fajita taco salad for my wife, the regular taco salad for me. Both were good. The steak fajita meat had a really good flavor and the over the flame taste was prevalent, tasted good. Issue was she wanted chicken, yet they didn't have any more, so she had to get the steak. Horrible food!! Avoid at all costs. The food was terrible. Nothing like shown in the pictures. Tasteless Taco Bell would be better. I ordered black beans that look like nothing in the picture. Both the soft and crispy tacos were just terrible. Could've gotten something better at 7-Eleven. Nice atmosphere inside and looks attractive, but the food is a solid zero. What can I say, not quite mexican maybe Tex-mex? So I wanted Chile rellenos, I asked if they had it cause I didn't see it on the menu, at the register the lady looked at me like I was talking in French and said if I want that I should go to Mexican restaurant... I replied with what is this place then and she just laughed . Guess I got my answer lol. Anywho, I ordered the beef fajitas cause it was the safest bet. This wa a repeat visit. First off, the crusty old f**t who takes your order needs a lesson in friendliness and accuracy in entering orders. My wife asked for 2 items a la carte but got one of them a la carte and the other was morphed into a combo dinner. I wasn't listening to her order -- I was still looking at the menu board -- so I didn't catch the error and she moved forward to get our utensils and drinks and didn't catch the error either. Cut to the chase, his wrong order cost us an extra $10. I know we could have a re-do but it was lunchtime, they were busy, and some hassles aren't worth pursuing. LOVED the ambiance of this place, fluffy tortillas... drive through window, a little salsa bar. There's a walk up to pay out and then you pick up your food after. There's a big menu with photos! Food is fast, quality is inconsistent, and portions are not proportionate to what you pay for! Service is also very inconsistent as is with most businesses these days, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for poor service when you can't even communicate your order properly! Amazing place. Definitely not closed. Got into Midland late and needed something quick. Kid at a gas station recommended it, said they have amazing fajitas. He wasn't lying. People call it fast food, but they are serving up quality Mexican food with a huge dining room, and great service. Amazing fresh tortillas. I had the beef fajitas and a pork tamale. They were fantastic and a decent portion at a fair price. The roasted jalapeño was a great addition. Will definitely return. read more

Again, I'm leaving another review for Rankin Hwy Rosa's location. Since only the newest review is saved to this app I will condense all of my reviews *then* leave my latest review in the last of my comment. This location has been found to be left dirty for too long. Once before when I came in the majority of tables were left dirty and a face mask amongst other trash was left on the floor. A manager one time before was extremely rude and didn't make eye contact with me or greet me in a professional manner. This time I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before eating and found the door to the bathroom way too heavy to open. This is a handicap accessible restroom, how do you expect a handicap or wheelchair bound person to open that heavy door? Also, one of the employees was washing the sinks and had both sinks tied up while she was on her phone. I asked if I could use the sink to wash my hands and realized after the second time I spoke to her, she didn't speak any English. ROSA'S you need to make sure your employees speak enough English they can do their job. Where have all of the Mexican employees gone? Are you employing Venezuelans at a cheaper rate because I know they're fogging into the states like locust. Are you as a business on the up and up? read more

You can't beat Rosa's beef fajitas. They're better than ANY restaurant in Midland/ Odessa. The salsa bar is always stocked with good stuff. I don't think I have ever been to a "fast food" restaurant that had such great food. My wife had been raving about it for a while and it lived up to her description. We had the fajitas and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is bright and festive and although we were there at a peek time we were in and out pretty quick. I wish they had a better drink selection but other than that it's a perfect place to get a quick lunch. read more

I have never seen anything like what I just witnessed inside this restaurant... We decided to go inside to place a to go order. While waiting we noticed that everyone that went to the counter to get their food where right back up there due to their order being wrong. Not just one or two orders but every single one was wrong. Our order was no exception either. Out of the $80 worth of food we ordered they maybe put $30 worth of food in our order. It took them 3 times to give us everything we paid for. I have never seen anyplace make these many mistakes. Upon arriving home we discovered that our orders were half ass thrown together and barely had any meat in them. Stopped in as I needed a quick fix for Mexican. I ordered the beef fajitas. The rice, beans, and fajitas were barely warm. The fajita meat had good flavor but was not fresh by any means. I went through the drive thru ordered chorizo & egg breakfast tacos. They were out of chorizo, but neglected to tell me. Instead they just filled my order with fajita meat and guacamole. Never once said anything to me. I get down the road and opened my tacos and to my surprise it isn't what I ordered. I turned around went back inside and brought this to their attention. I asked why did I get something I didn't order. Their reply was we are out of chorizo at the moment. I asked then why wasn't I informed of this. Instead you filled my order knowingly incorrect. No answer from the staff on that one. Then asked me if I wanted to wait for it to be cooked. I said NO, just give me my money back I'll go somewhere else.
