Felt like it was being rushed in the beginning, and felt like the whole inside of my toe nail was cut and it was. My toes are still sore. End result looked pretty. My toes needed the upgrade but wish I just waited to go to my usual salon. They don't cut my cuticles down to the meat or dig out skin till I bleed. As much as I wanted to love this salon. I was beyond disappointed in them. I'd just relocated to the area the week I came in. I intentionally waited until my movers had arrived and I'd unpacked then called and scheduled an appointment. I told them at check in, I was a brand new customer and had just relocated. I suppose with any great salon, this info should be irrelevant and all service should be excellent whether your first visit or 1000th. I had told my bff about the place before coming in as I felt the pink girly theme was definitely not my style. I've been getting my nails professionally done all my life. As a child I went to the salon with my grandma every other weekend so while there's a lot I can do in this world there are something's like painting my nails that I'm just not equipped to do a professional job at. I was brought to the pedicure chair and my gel mani and service began. I was excited at the thought of a cotton candy glass of champagne. This excitement was extremely short lived, within minutes of my pedicure and on the very first cuticle trimmer attempt I incurred a very serious cut. There was blood everywhere! I nearly fainted and this is coming from a woman who donates blood every 56 days. The tech had zero idea of how to properly treat this sort of cut and clearly made it way worse. I've never in my life been cut during a pedicure and had no idea what to do other than bear and grin it because I was in complete and utter shock. The two techs working on me clearly didn't want to notify management and the manicurist continued to attempt to explain the treatment process to the pedicure tech who was drenching my toe in alcohol, wiping consistently, applying enormous amounts of white powder. Eventually they notified management, and brought me water. I must have asked for 6cups worth. I was on the verge of tears and in disbelief. The manicurist took over and provided aid to the injury. They notified me they would not do a pedicure and would stop the bleeding and apply polish. My manicure came out well but I was absolutely devastated by the injury seeing as though I was one week out from running a marathon and did not want to risk infection or an issue. I purchased hydrogen peroxide, neosporin and bandages to keep this cut bandaged and cleaned all week long. They did not charge me for the manicure but all in all, I have no idea what to say about this other than it was very scary and in all good faith I could never recommend anyone go to a place who is causing injuries like this. read more

The service here was honestly disappointing. Don't get me wrong some of the staff were super sweet, especially the receptionist, one of the ladies helping earlier in my appointment, and the manager (I wish I remembered their names). The manager was understanding enough to give me 15% off because of the long wait, which I did appreciate. But overall, the service and professionalism still did not match the experience I had. I was seated and had one person start my pedicure/massage. After she finished, another person was supposed to come do my acrylics. Tell me why I waited 45 minutes just sitting there for the second person to finally come over. That alone says a lot about the service. The worst part was the lady doing my acrylics. I politely asked if she could fix one of my big toes because the acrylic was visibly crooked and sideways. Instead of fixing it, she told me it was because of the shape of my toe and cuticle. I was literally looking at my toe it was not my toe, the acrylic was just applied crooked. She easily could've reshaped it or painted it more evenly, but she didn't even try. I came in 3/17/25 after popping in to work really quick on my off day. I wanted me-time. The ambience is top tier. Aesthetically,this is everything I wanted and needed in my "me pampered princess time." It was pink and pretty,the massage chairs work great and have an option for petite height,which I loved. When I get my nails done I typically don't use massage chair because it never hits the right places. You check in on the iPad and select your services. It will go be you the subtotal right there. I liked that a lot, actually. No surprises in that regard! Anyways,I'm unhappy with my manicure for multiple reasons. I got a basic "couture" manicure because I'm letting my nails rest and grow. Nothing fancy,just a soak, cuticle work and nail polish. I picked a peachy nude color that gives off pastel orange in regular nail polish. The guy didn't ask me what shape or even to file....I kept trying to make small talk and he just said,"yes ma'am" I think his name was Benjamin or something.....younger guy....my nails were already short so I was kind of irritated that he didn't ask if I wanted it cut or filed down... And the nail polish??? It was basic,so I knew that it wouldn't last past 2 weeks,but literally the DAY--- hours later?? I'm chipping. I didn't have to go go back after my errands to get it fixed,so I just let it be. After I was out all night for Saint Patrick's Day events,I took a shower and almost ALL my nail polish had some more of bubbling or lifting. Two even peeled off in the shower! What the heck??? Looking back in the picture it looks so clumpy and uneven. And my pedicure?? It felt great on my tired feet and legs...except for when Kimberly clipped too close on my toe and actually cut me. It drew a little blood on the side but she rinsed it and it was fine-- for the time being...then she put acetone on the nails to take off all the oils before she painted and my toe was burning! I told her that it buns so she rinsed it....but I think she rinsed it with the dirty tub water?? I wasn't paying much attention because I was trying to zone out and have my chair massage. 3/18/25 Now it's literally ONE DAY after my services and all my nail polish is off and my toe is hurting so bad. I wore open toed sandals to work so I could show off Kimberly's Frenchie paint (she did do a good job on the paint and massage) and also so my toe could not have pressure on it. Kimberly was so nice and I feel bad basically telling on her....I'm sure she did not mean to clip my toe. Maybe it was hard for her to distinguish because I am a dance teacher and I have a lot of calluses??? In the end,I really wanted to love it here. After going home,I do not. This place was highly recommended to me by multiple friends. I have now been twice and have enjoyed my experience both times. The only flaws are the space is very small. I highly recommend coming after work during the week and not on a Friday (it was majorly packed). I should have looked closer at the dip shaping on my right hand because it's slightly off, but you can't tell from far away, I will be sure to be more vocal next time. For my first time experience I'll say I'm rather disappointed especially with the amount of good reviews. I came here for a mani/pedi and this review will just focus on the mani since my pedi came out great. Besides the fact that they did both my services at the same time (I would rather they work on one then the other) I felt the whole experience was rushed in general. I personally did not notice how badly some of the lines done on two of my nails were until I got into my car and could see them better in the sun. I got medium almond gel x nails with a few designs on some of my nails and for the price I paid (220 for mani/pedi +tip) I expected them to make sure the nails came out perfect before sending me on my way. I did go back inside and they were able to fix the nails within 5 mins having to stop working on someone else so sorry to that girl that you had to sit there awkwardly while I got mine fixed. But as I was leaving I was stopped by a worker who assumed I didn't pay for my service. Mind you, I paid prior, went to my car, noticed the thick lines and went back inside to get them fixed since I was not happy with them. I was confused when he asked me this because I thought he was saying I needed to pay for the fixing service. Thankfully I asked for the receipt and showed him but very upset that he stopped to assume I did not pay when a.) he was up at the front when I went back inside to tell them about the nails b.) the girl who did check me out could've let him know I did pay already. We booked five pedicure appointments for 1:00 PM over a week in advance for a child's birthday and arrived by 12:55. Despite this, the salon continued taking walk-ins ahead of us. By 1:45, only three people had started, and the fourth wasn't even seated until 45 minutes late. We had to move our lunch reservation, and when we asked the front desk about the delay, we were told, "It's Saturday, this isn't like a restaurant." If that's the mindset, then appointments shouldn't be offered. In the end, one person didn't get serviced at all because it was more than an hour past our appointment time with no technician available. Very disappointing, especially given the drive and the occasion. The only positive to this experience is that it's pretty inside. read more

I'm not the type of person to leave bad reviews because sometimes it's just a bad day! For the location and the price. You would think the customer service and quality of the nails would be good. My friend and I were walk ins. We are told to enter in the ipad what we want. I click dip. Almond shape. Massage. (Which says $2 and it never said anything about $2 per minute. Not joking.) I wanted to get chrome but they charge $20!!! I can do that at home for less than $5. My nails were also already almond shape with a natural longer length no tip. Shouldn't have clicked that button. That was my fault. The guy that did my nails was very sweet. When he said "$2 per minute for massage" I giggled and said well I'll take two minutes!! Two minutes for $4... I just feel like that's silly when there's nail salons that do it for free after every appointment. The nails looked great. But now I've had them less than a week. I've broken 3 nails. One of them split my nail in half. All I did was pick up my small vibration plate machine. The 2nd one idk what I did. The 3rd one I opened my drawer!! The front desk ladies weren't the nicest. I asked them to take off the money for shaping my nails because they were already shaped. The lady was rude and was acting like i was asking something difficult. She said she can't take it off because they need to file the nail because if they don't the powder wouldn't look great. I blanked stared at her and just paid. My thoughts were "shouldn't that be part of the process? Why am I paying for something that is already part of the service?" I also live 1hr and a half from the location. Complementary bubbly and a very nice staff! They were more than accommodating as we were driving from Mansfield and underestimated Texas traffic! That is the main reason for the 3 stars. Now regarding the service it was decent. my pedicure was very good 10/10...but the nail tech that did my nails was extremely pushy. I came in with an idea in mind and she was trying to make me do a whole different idea... (up charge) , she was nice but it seemed like she just wanted to make more money. I asked for shorter nails because I type daily and of course they are too long , she also tried to talk me into doing more diamonds and I just had to keep telling her I wanted what I wanted, but okay I can deal with that. Well we finished and paid and I was satisfied when I walked out and they offer a 7 day guarantee that they will fix your nails if anything goes wrong, so I'm thinking they should be fine! Well 3 days in of course all the diamonds started to fade in color and I notice a crack in my nail starting to form and that it had already started lifting ( mind you it had only been 3 days). So me and my friend planned on going back there but the we were staying in Euless! Which was a decent drive and not in our time schedule to be able to go back! I called the salon and was told to call back the next day when the manager was available, and I have not had time to do so, now I'm after the 7 day policy! So now I'm stuck with lack luster diamonds and a broken nail & I honestly just would like to be refunded some of the funds that were spent as me myself spent over $200 in services plus tip! Customer service nightmare from start to finish. They use third party booking sites that they are not at all familiar with and very clearly don't care to understand or get corrected. Just know when you book with a specific person, it doesn't mean anything. They don't get that info. Very rushed service and not good quality overall. As an example, the girl doing my nails wiped off some polish on the side of my nail and smeared it on the pillow I was resting my hands on. Then inevitably, I laid my hand on it and got polish all over my hand. Makes me wonder if that is standard practice to use the throw pillows ( that clearly don't get cleaned) instead of a towel. It's my birthday and mom wanted to take us for pedicures at a new place. I called at 2 pm and made the reservation. We get there and it's quite the hike from parking for my 74 year old mom. But we get inside and they don't show my reservation. The door way is jam packed with people elbow to elbow. They ask me to prove I called so I showed them my phone. They got us in but we had to wait which was fine. Mom could not even get to the polish because these genius out chairs in front of the polish shelves. Then they take us back to dirty chairs. Knowing they fit us in we said we could wait. A few minutes later a man asks if we are ready I try and tell him the seats are dirty but he insisted we follow him. There we got to stand waiting for the lady to finishing wiping down both chairs. They start in my mom and leave him sitting watching everyone get their feet done. I ask twice when will mine start because me and mom are in one car and it's my birthday and I'm just sitting here. They didn't even bring the water and cocktail we ordered. The place is a death trap as well too jumbled with carts you can't even walk a straight line so if there is a fire or shooter you will be screwed. The manager with glasses got an attitude when they are the ones who dropped the ball. The music was hideous. A pedicure should be relaxing not rave techno crap thumping. We ended up leaving which is truly their loss as we do this weekly. I was willing to go twice as far for a new experience and well this surely was not it! I always go to Rose Couture in Addison and absolutely LOVE this place but particularly today they made my visit extra special. I recently had ankle surgery and i am unable to walk. My best friend took me to get my nails done in my favorite spot. Since this is on the second floor i had to use the elevator which was unfortunately broken (not their fault- the landlords) and two of their employees of the salon volunteered to carry me up the stairs. They both let me hold on to their shoulders and carried me up and when i was finished helped me the same way carrying me down. HUGE SHOUT OUT! The nail tech I utilize here is amazing. That being said they need to be more organized when it comes to appointments if I book with a specific person. SHOCKER! Thats who I want to do my nails. I don't want to hear about oh you were supposed to leave a note when it lets you select the nail tech and it doesn't state that on the website. Do better. The last time I came in they tried to give me away to another nail tech. I didn't pick a specific tech and book around their schedule on the website to be serviced by someone's work I'm not familiar with! ESPECIALLY with my bday nails. The nail technician also did a manicure cleaning on my cuticles and pulled on my skin, which has now turned into an infection. I've been to rose couture multiple times and the last time I went I got an infection on my toe from a pedicure at the Walnut Hill location so I decided to come to the Addison location to try them out and I typically make an appointment but this time I didn't. I get here, I wait the typical 5-10 mins they have you wait and a lady called me, asked what color I wanted, sat me down, put the water in and as she was doing so, the manager signaled to stop working on me and go to someone else. Let me mention as I arrived I saw a man asleep on one of the pedicure chairs. As I'm sitting here confused with the pedicure bowl not even halfway full of water I see the man who was knocked out asleep on the pedicure chair grab and cart and come to me station to do my pedicure. At this point I'm livid and have decided I will no longer be a customer of Rose Couture. This is ridiculous and honestly unbelievable. Save your money and time. read more

Everybody was very friendly- the receptionist, the other staff members, the people servicing me, heck even the other clientele! Shoutout to Kid for powering through allergies and providing a nice pedicure service that matches my nails perfectly and Trihn for having a great eye for color, reshaping my nails, and being skilled to do the ombré & chrome! The services did not take long (not rushed just not drawn out either which I appreciate) and the prices are VERY reasonable. The technicians are young and therefore able to do a variety or styles based on inspiration pics or just description. The vibe of the place is also very esthetically pleasing and calming.
