My manicure was ok, even though I asked for gel polish and got powder due to not being able to communicate with staff. My pedicure not so much. The problem is my big toe nails won't grow and I do Acrylics. This time they nails did not look the same size. They usually do ok with them. I went back next day(today) and he wouldn't adjust one of them to match better. I write this as I am sitting here fuming with pruned feet. What is it with nail salons that when you go in and politely ask "how long is the wait" they LIE TO YOUR FACE and say "oh come sit here we do it right away" only to wait in water that has turned COLD for 45 minutes!! Bad customer service!!! What should have happened is - "there will be about 45 min wait if you want to go shop around we will put your name down". I used to come to this salon when I lived more close to it. I was always a bit frustrated about the wait, however. Fast forward and I received a text message they were under new management and we're offering a discount so I decided to swing by for a dip manicure. I was immediately set up with Heidi, I believe, and though she did things a little differently than what I've experienced before, this is the absolute best my nails have ever looked! I needed a basic mani/pedi and this place was next to 45 Mint, one of my favorite restaurants; and thought I'd give them a try. Full disclosure: This was my first time here and I never give 5-star ratings unless I've been back for at least a second time. Andy, the owner was very nice and offered me a beverage of my choice once I was seated and relaxed. Jessica did both services and she seemed very competent in her ministrations. Since I only got my nails buffed, I can't address how well she could do a full blown manicure with polish, but both my finger and toe nails look really good so I'll be back. Her post-trim leg massage was heavenly. Maybe next time I'll spring for the full spa treatment. BTW, their pricing is certainly competitive and they are currently offering a 20% off discount during week days, which was a nice surprise. read more

So I came to Dallas for my anniversary getaway and ended up breaking a nail. I searched all night for somewhere to get my nails redone. The reviews for this salon were good so I requested an appointment on Yelp and they got back to me and was able to fit me in today. Upon arrival I seen the salon was well kept and clean. It was a nice welcoming vibe and I was promptly seated. I was the only customer there at that time but within minutes It was about 5 other people that came after me and they didn't have much of a wait at all and I believe some of them were "walk ins". The staff was very nice as well! My nail tech (I didn't get her name) was very sweet and engaging. I wasn't rushed to find a color at all. She also asked me throughout the time how I was feeling about my nails so I did feel included and thought that she was indeed trying to achieve the look I wanted. I was getting a full set with dip powder in a coffin shape. As far as the shaping of my nails, it seemed that she might've had a little trouble getting my desired shape, but once I stated that I wanted them to be shaped more she politely asked, whom I believe to be the owner, to help and he got my nails to the right shape I wanted. I also got a french tip Polish change on my toes since my nails no longer matched my toes and I have no complaints at all with that. I ended up owing in all $57 and they do have a break down of the charges on the receipt, which I love, $35 for dip powder, $3 for nail tips, $5 for nail shape, and my toes with the French tip was $14. Overall I don't think the pricing was bad at all. The reason why I'm only giving 4 stars is because there was a few times I was nicked with the tool. Nothing major at all just something that happened and it wasn't too bad. I just said to myself beauty is pain sometimes lol. Trust me I've been hurt by a nail tech many times before. I would just like to give a little constructive criticism and is to just please be careful around the cuticles! Heidi was great while she worked here however, she left for a reason unknown. A woman named Carol left also who was good while she lasted. The staff is constantly changing. The owner, Andy, does a great job but lately he has been rushing through my nails because they are understaffed and everyone requests him because he is the only one who does a good job. I always have to wait even when I make an appointment. If anyone else besides him does my nails I ALWAYS have to go back to him to get them fixed. He gets irritated that my mom and I only ask for him and has been rude the last few times we went asking why we only request him and can't have anyone else work on our nails and other things so we will NOT be returning. There is a great spot called Castle Nail Spa less than half a mile away- they do a good job, have a big staff and it's very nice inside. read more

When I asked them about it, they said the website was wrong. Well isn't that their responsibility to keep that updated? It's really a hit or miss here. If you can, make your appointment with Andy. My first two visits with him were perfect. I went again with a friend yesterday and unfortunately, Andy was on vacation and we had someone else do our nails. First of all, my friend had her thumb deeply cut by one of the instruments and they did not have a first aid kit or disinfectant. My friend had previously complained when the filing machine touched her skin and it burned, but the lady was not cautious and ended up cutting my friend's thumb. The "disinfectant" they were putting on her thumb was a liquid lidocaine. My nails are bumpy and the powder is also stuck to my cuticles. Very messy work. Also, we had an appointment for 6 pm but I had to wait until 6:30 pm to begin my pedicure. I sat and waited in my pedicure chair for 30 minutes. To be quite honest, I would go back here to get my nails done only if Andy is available. I don't think I can trust the others. read more

I often stop in to random places around Dallas when I need my nails done, but I am absolutely won over by Luxury Nail Salon! They are by far one of the cleanest places I have gone to in a while. I was going in for a pedicure and decided to go for an upgrade since the weather is getting warmer. It was worth the $45! I got the milk and honey pedicure and my skin felt so smooth and spring ready when I was finished. I found this place as it's close to my apartment. I'd driven by it every time assuming it would be one of the expensive places. I finally gave it a shot & was happy to see that the prices weren't bad. They use liners for the spa foot tubs, which was a big seller for my guy to get his feet tended to. I just got an acrylic fill from Eric (I believe that was his name) and a polish change on my feet. My fingers looked nice as did our toes. They have a membership offer that knocks 20% off all services if you rate them well on google & yelp, so here I am- a happy client giving honest feedback. read more

Will not be returning. The first time I went, Andy did my gel manicure. He only set the nails using the light one time per application. I have always had the light set my nails 2 times per application. 6 days later, all of the gel started peeling off. I finally just peeled all the polish off on day 8. I went back to another tech and got the dip powder. The sides of my nails hurt and the nails are wide and bulky. Actually like some of the pictures posted on here. I've been here in Dallas, about a year this coming April. And since I've been here, I still have not found my go to place for a pedi. I have read tons of reviews and even tried a handful of places. I've even gone so far as to wait till I'm in San Diego to go to my regular gal, but no longer. I will by golly find a place here! With that being said, I went to Luxury Nails & Spa, yesterday, 03/30/17, because my feet were screaming at me from the neglect. My last pedi was the past February when I went to California. I went ahead and treated myself to the Milk & Honey spa pedi. Let me tell you, when you first sit in the spa chair, it was heaven. This has been the best chair I've sat in ever! The pressure was hard and not soft, so it worked the knots out of my back. Dahsiek (my apologies, not sure of the spelling) was the gal who did my pedi. She was very nice and took her time. Mind you, there was no one in the salon, so maybe that had to do with her taking her time. She cut my nails the way I wanted them (which was pretty short). However, I thought it was odd that she did not trim my cuticles. With the Milk & Honey spa pedi, it comes with a citrus sugar scrub, that smelled really good, like oranges. Then there was an oil drizzling over my legs, which she worked into a massage. She did pretty good at working my leg muscles, but didn't spend too much times on massaging my feet. After she had a hot stone massage, along with a parafin wax dip for my feet. After she went an did a french pedi with 1 coat of top coat. I had to do 2 coats of top coat when I got home. She did a pretty good job on the french. That was $50 ($45 for the pedi + $5 for the french) plus tip. She asked if I wanted to get the membership which is $20 for 6 months, for which I passed on, as I'm probably going to try some place else. :) I'm gonna try some place else, because I want to find the best possible salon, for which I am accustomed too. Once you find your place, its hard to compare. Who knows, I may come back. It wasn't terrible, so more than likely I will come back. :) read more

The WORST pedicure ever. I am so disappointed. I love getting a pedicure as a treat. The place I always go to was closed on July 3 so I came to this place for the first time. I will never come back again. I was the ONLY customer there so I don't know why she rushed every single bit of it. Since I noticed her skimping through the details I figured I'd time the massage when she started because the sheet said six min of massage. She massage my legs/feet for 4 min. (2 min each) and when I said something to her about it she argued with me. I showed her the timer and she kept arguing with me and finally just said "fine" and rudely threw the tools and towels around from that min forward. I'm 38, have had many pedicures. What a disappointment. They set a timer to make sure your manicure or pedicure doesn't run over. I had stopped in the day before and asked if they have discounts for new customers, they showed my the 20% off for six months after you post a review on Yelp or google. No mention that the first visit isn't included. I asked if I could sign up that day, and was told we would do it the next day when I came in for my mani/pedi. Again, no mention the first visit not included. I could have done the mani that day and the pedi the next had I known. I witnessed such disrespect for both staff and customers. There will be no 20% discount as I will never step foot in this place again. read more
