They were a ray of shining light during a dark time. They accommodated every thing my mother and her new husband wanted. Next to the venue is a lovely three bedroom house for the bride and groom and the wedding party to get ready in and for the bride and groom to spend the night in. Jamie was so flexible and never made us feel bad for making changes or running late. Ben was a great MC who kept the party fun. When we had a technical problem, Ben quickly came up with a solution. The food was delicious (we went with the Italian American choice). The photo booth was a big hit. They really anticipated every need. They made it a beautiful and memorable day.

Let me just say Lori has taken it upon herself to completley and utterly LIE about the events in my wedding. She's upset that my family has repeatedly posted negative reviews about how our experience was at her venue. I have text messages that prove her contradicting herself with what she has commented on everyone's review that was a part of my wedding. Not just from her but her DJ and photographers also have given me intake on Lori that will prove just how much of a fraud she is. She went from trying to apologize for her staffs actions to saying her staff is a 5 star servicer after seeing all the negative reviews! Feel free to message me for full experience and I can send you my review as the bride if the link down below does not work for you! It's quite lengthy considering how much CRAP my husband and I went through! You're going to need at least 10 minutes to read this review so grab a chair. Here is the link for my full experience, it was too long to post as a review so I wrote it on my note pad on my phone. If you're seriously looking into booking this venue, it's worth the read! Lori also takes it upon herself to get other customers to comment great reviews after recieving negative ones as she did to me when I first booked with her. If you get overwhelmed or stressed out easily this venue is the best for you. Rose Garden handled everything! It was so nice. I could not have imagined booking someplace else. Our coordinator made the wedding process extremely smooth, we are over the moon with Jamie. He was absolutely wonderful! Jamie and Ben (the DJ) are the best team. I was in contact with them through the whole process. Ben sent me a list of vendor to choose from which was great. Each major section cake, photographer, food, etc. had about 3 vendors to choose from. This made the selection process stress-free and fun. Ben and Jamie continued to check in with me to help make sure everything was on track and if I had any questions they were quick to respond. During the ceremony/reception Ben killed it! He kept the wedding on track to ensure we had plenty of time for dancing and fun. His chair game was my favorite part of the night. Everyone was cracking up and loved it, it even got the more shy guest engaged. Ben played all the music people requested and did just an outstanding job. After reception we were able to keep the party going in the parking lot with trailers and the night was perfect. Only advice I have if you have a November wedding is prepare for the season; watch out for the early sunset, possibly chilly (only during pictures and ceremony), and a little breezy. Even with these odd things the whole Rose Garden team did an amazing job at not letting these elements impact our wedding. The reception hall was warm and the elderly had and amazing view from inside the hall to watch the ceremony. Highly recommend this venue for those who love the outdoors look and want to have very minimal stress during their wedding.

My review is well overdue. My husband & I got married here almost a year ago now on 10/14/23. We looked at so many places to wed but there was just something different about the Rose Garden that we loved. It wasn't like all the other places we looked at. The view, the property, the barn, the hosts, the beautiful drive to Tehachapi, it all stood out from the rest. Ben was our go to guy for all the questions we had up to our wedding day & then Jamie took over making sure everything was perfect. Both of them are amazing! We had some hiccups the day of the wedding & Jamie came to the rescue. My flowers were done by Lindsey & they came out absolutely beautiful. I didn't see them until I walked down the aisle & I was stunned. She went above & beyond what I expected. The photographers were so patient & made us feel so comfortable. When we received our images back we were so happy with them. Ben filmed our ceremony & some of our reception & we love how the video came out! Our food & deserts were so good. Our family & friends loved the whole venue. We got tons of compliments. My husband & I are so happy we chose to wed here & we would highly recommend the Rose Garden to everyone. If you're looking for a wedding venue look no further! This place is absolutely incredible I got married here last weekend and I am so in love with the memories of our big day!! Lorie and her team were very kind and helpful. They listened to every idea I had in mind and did what they could to accommodate. They have great packages to fit what you're looking for. I've heard nothing but great things about our wedding from our guests. Many commented that it is by far the best wedding they have ever attended! My husband and I got married here a couple of months ago and let me start by thanking the owner for having such a wonderful venue and amazing staff!! Everything went so smooth, from the time that we booked until the day of our wedding. The communication was absolutely amazing with Jamie and Ben during the whole process. They really went above and beyond to make sure not only myself and my husband had everything we needed, but also our 150 guests. The grounds were so clean, everything was in place, it was just beautiful. And oh man did Ben really know how to throw a great reception!! Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to! We went with the all inclusive package, and you have a few different vendors to choose from. We were so extremely happy with all of the vendors that they provided!! They made it so EASY for us! Everything turned out so beautiful and it was just an absolute amazing day!!! Thank you for making our day so perfect!

This venue is beautiful, and the staff made the experience flawless. The MC was wonderful and really made our night fun. The wedding planner, bartender, caterer, photographer, and all staff did an amazing job of making this the best wedding for our daughter and now son n law. Where do I even begin!? Paul and Lorie are absolutely AMAZING! Words cannot express my gratitude, admiration, and love for them and their venue. From day one, they were easy to communicate with and I felt an instant bond with them. They were extremely responsive, attentive, and nurturing. Even on their vacation, they made sure to have someone available to relay information to me. The venue is stunning! It is a hidden gem in Tehachapi. As soon as you arrive and step foot inside of either of the barn or the bed & breakfast, you feel as though you have entered a mystical realm. They is a feeling of class, elegancy, and comfort all in one. Our guests could stop raving about how beautiful the location was. The quality and amount of décor that you are able to use for free for your events is exquisite! From the lanterns to the numerous antiques, you'll feel special and want to find a way to incorporate everything just because it is all so beautiful and personable. They also offer a variety of additional items that you can rent, such as their gold chiavari chairs (which are way more reasonably priced than other venues). When my now husband and I expressed to Paul and Lorie that were not financially able to rent the chairs, the texted me a few days before the wedding letting me know that they were gifting their beautiful chairs to us to use on our wedding day. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!? What venue just gives you such an expensive and elegant rental to you on your wedding day!? Slim to none is the answer and that's just another reason why I cannot recommend Rose Garden Estate enough! Also, I cannot forget to mention that the bed and breakfast on site is spectacular! You get to get ready in their gorgeous master suite which is completely breathtaking. With your wedding rental, you also get to stay in the master suite overnight and Paul will cook you the most delicious French toast the next morning. Everything about this venue and its owners is just absolutely amazing. My husband and I are so beyond grateful for having Paul and Lorie in our lives now. They will forever be a part of our extended family because they are just such loving souls. Their children are totally awesome and helpful as well. So the overall premise of this is that I HIGHLY suggest that you check out Rose Garden Estate. You will not be sorry and your special day will be even more perfect simply because Paul and Lorie had a hand in your special day.

We chose this venue mostly because of the amazing Mountain View's and decorations for the reception area, but the service was just as amazing. Harrison and Luke made sure everything went smoothly for us, and checked on us plenty of times to make absolute sure we were happy. We didn't have any stress and enjoyed our day so much. This place is definitely a hidden gem. The caterer we chose from one of their options was delicious and all of our guest were full and satisfied with plenty left. The house is spacious enough for everyone to get ready in comfortably. Lorie came the next morning to check on us and make sure we loaded up all our items, and she was very sweet. Overall everything was perfect for our day and we are so happy we found this place.

If you are currently looking for a venue, you can stop here. The day we had arrived, they had everything fixated on us. Willing to help, and cater in any way, and very accommodating to our many changes. The actual wedding day, went so smoothly and according to plan. They even worked with us to incorporate a last dance, between the groom and I, with the whole venue cleared out. Definateky a night I won't forget. The only complaint I have is that the dj had cancelled on us the week before the wedding. normally it wouldn't be a big deal, because he did give a new dj to us, but even then that Dj was not playing many songs from the playlist I had shared, and unlike the other dj, I did not know this one or talk to him about specific interests for two years. So we did end up having to ask him to skip a few songs, like a demon rock song during dinner. Overall, everything was great, having the house booked the day before the wedding was so fun, and it defiantly made me feel like a bride. I hope you love this place as much as we did. I'm so happy we picked the Rose Garden Estates to have our big day at. The staff and DJ kept in touch with us for the entire duration of the wedding planning, making sure to coordinate vendors and music planning etc. we chose the package that comes with EVERYTHING! The package literally comes with every single thing down to photographer, cake flowers etc. not to mention the venue already comes with decor, flower girl baskets, ring bearer pillows, gift signs, ceremony and reception signs etc. small details you don't realize would be tedious to get while trying to get every other thing in order for your wedding. The day of the wedding the staff was absolutely incredible! Kim the coordinator, the sweet little southern belle, was so helpful and honestly made the day run so much smoother. She brought me drinks during pictures.. just amazing! Then the photographers Jenn and Jim were soooo awesome. They contract with the venue. They weren't just snapping pictures they were engaging laughing and making the whole experience fun and not so businessy. And DJ Ben was absolutely awesome. We coordinated throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding he was an awesome host and DJ. He kept the entire event entertaining. Ben incorporated so many games and different things to keep the crowd entertained and engaged, I've been to weddings where the DJs are kinda in the background and don't really help to get the crowd going but Ben was the opposite, he was so fun and entertaining and definitely engaged with everyone brought ppl to the dance floor and out of their shells. The entire staff was so kind and catering to our every needs the day was absolutely perfect. Other than all the great staff and vendors, being able to have your reception ceremony and a suite to sleep in afterwards with your new spouse and even rooms for family/guests is incredibly convenient and takes away sooo much stress and worry. I'm so happy we chose this venue and would definitely recommend to anyone else planning a wedding. This and The seclusion, atmosphere and location makes rose gardens the perfect venue!!!

This review is only for the wedding venue aspect. I cannot speak about the bed-and-breakfast because I have not experienced it. If I could give less than one star I would. We booked this venue 10 months in advance of our vow renewal. It is a new venue and things were not complete when we booked it. We were assured that everything would be finished long before our event. we didn't hear much from them over the next 10 months, two weeks before our event I called them and asked to have a meeting to go over the final details. At the meeting, that I requested, he told us that things would not be finished in time to have our event there. Had I not requested the meeting I really don't know when they would have told us. We had two weeks to find a new place to hold our event. We ended up spending a lot more money and incurred a lot of extra cost because of them being unable to fulfill their contract with us, especially on such short notice. I took numerous pictures the day we were there, only two weeks before our event, of all the construction that was taking place at the time. My heart was broken, I endured immense amounts of stress trying to find a new venue for my husband and I to renew our wedding vows with only two weeks to work with. I cried countless times. It was an absolute disaster. In the spirit of transparency I will say that they did give us our deposit back since they were unable to fulfill their end of the contract. ADDED AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE! We asked Rose Garden Estates if they would set up an event tent for us. They told us we were welcome to do that but they would NOT Pay for it. We were willing to keep our event there had they just gotten an event tent for us to have our reception in. But they said NO! Regardless of construction problems that may have arose that is NO excuse for not contacting us and letting us know the venue would not be ready. It was ONLY AFTER we demanded a sitdown meeting, two weeks beforehand that they told us. We had asked for meetings prior to this and they kept pushing them off.

Living the hectic lives we live, my husband and I feel like we only really get to relax when we're on a cruise. I now have to add staying in Bridal Suite at the Rose Garden Estate to that statement! One of the best parts is that when you rent a single room, you get the whole house which is one story with the Bridal Suite, two additional bedrooms, one additional bath, complete with a full kitchen, dining space, and living space. The Victorian decor was both charming and tasteful. Each room is uniquely and carefully curated and would be a blast for a professional photographer to take advantage of. We were pleasantly surprised with how serene the location was; I had forgotten what silence sounded like! The view of the surrounding farms and vineyards were enchanting at sunset and refreshing to wake up to. You can view it perfectly from the Bridal Suite's picture window. The Bridal Suite itself was very spacious. There was enough room for me to do yoga in multiple spots (I know, I'm a weirdo, but couldn't decide where to practice: the picture window was so lovely for meditation yet the wall of mirrors was perfect to double check my form). Not to brag, but I might be a mattress snob. I have a bad back so a bad mattress will always be the deciding factor of whether or not I go back to a hotel/inn. I have to say that this place passed the test! The Bridal Suite bathroom had more space than what my husband and I knew what to do with! Two sinks AND a seated vanity? Check! Walk in shower with enough space for two? Check! Jetted tub? Check! Being a bed and breakfast, Paul made us a delicious omelette, potatoes, and French toast with fresh brewed coffee the next morning. It was so nice to be doted on. Lorie was very easy to work with. We had a last second change of plans but she was very accommodating. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us a little tour of the grounds before showing us to the Bridal Suite. I would recommend the Rose Garden Inn & the Bridal Suite to anyone who wants to recharge their batteries with their loved ones. It would be wonderful for a rejuvenating girls' weekend (did I mention all of the wineries in the area?), an intimate, team-building retreat (there's also plenty of hiking opportunities in the area!), or even just to have some quality time with the family in a new atmosphere.

Rose Garden Estate was the best decision we made for our wedding! When we started looking for a place, we had only been to one venue prior to visiting Rose Garden. However, as soon as we saw this place, we were instantly IN LOVE! Our wedding in October was absolutely beautiful in every way, we couldn't be happier! Family and guests kept asking us "how did you find this place?!". Paul and Lori are always a phone call/text away if you have any questions within the days approaching your wedding day, and they truly care that YOU are happy and satisfied. We booked an "any day but Saturday" special with them, which included the food (they have 3 caterers available, and the food is SO GOOD), and a night stay for the bride and groom the night of the wedding. We paid extra to rent out their bed and breakfast the night before so we could be on site, and it was so affordable, not only that, it made our day that much more stress-free! Paul and Lori also have a PLETHORA of wedding decor available to all you DIY brides out there! It's every bride's shabbychic, rustic theme dream! My husband and I are beyond the moon happy with choosing this place to say "I Do", and we also have beautiful memories and PHOTOS to last us out lifetime! Go see this place for YOURSELF, you won't be disappointed! read more

Paul was a joy to work with. We had a total of 4 meetings before the big day. The packages that the venue offered were ideal to my situation. I wanted a venue were the ceremony and reception were in the same location. I didn't want my guests traveling twice. I wasn't hiring a wedding coordinator so the Ultimate Package best fit my needs and budget. Paul was very straight forward, confident and always reassured us about the big day. He was always a text or phone call away. Very prompt on his response. The day of the wedding I finally met Lorie. Complete sweetheart. Even my mother was impressed of how attentive she was to our big day. My husband, I and our guests were enjoying our night completely. From Paul and Lorie's children to Paul's son the bartender. I can not say enough great things about this venue! From our first initial phone call, to our last hugs goodbye, Paul and Lorie were AMAZING and so easy to work with! They are over accommodating and the best couple to run a venue! We looked at a lot of venues and as soon as we found this hidden treasure we knew this is exactly what is perfect for us. The venue is so beautiful, and the reception barn is already decorated so perfectly you don't have to add much decor to have the perfect day! The food was AMAZING, Laurie helped in every way on our wedding day.. all the way down to pouring me a drink of fireball after the ceremony! Our guest were all amazed at how beautiful everything is and said it couldn't have been more perfect. Plus, you don't find many venues that allow you to bring in your own alcohol, and use their bartender that comes inclusive with the package. We did the small package with 60 guest, and ordered pizza for the kiddos! The grounds are kept up beautifully... and the bed and breakfast for the bride and groom the night of the wedding is more than we could have asked for. To be able to walk from the venue, across the side walk for our wedding night was perfect! The help and attentiveness they give you.. just anything to make life easy for the bride and groom made the day so stress free and memorable! Thank you so much for going out of the way to make our wedding day so perfect! You're not just getting a Venue with the Rose Garden Estates, you're getting amazing food, help through the day, and even beautiful arches to choose from! This wedding venue is really a hidden gem! Paul and Lorie are very easy to work with and provide excellent customer service, something that is very important for a bride on her special day. The venue is an elegant barn with Victorian touches nestled in the hills of Tehachapi. It is affordable and very unique!! I am not from the area so driving out to the venue for a friends wedding gave me the feeing that it was out in the middle of nowhere... but it was perfect! Well maintained property with spacious mountain views, a great place for a reception and beautiful house for the girls in the wedding to stay the night and get ready in. Highly recommended for anyone getting married. We were there in February so it was a little cold (still beautiful) but I would imagine it's incredible for Spring and Summer events. We got treated to an gorgeous backdrop that included a perfect mountain sunset! read more

We just had the most wonderful wedding here at the Rose Garden Estate. The food is absolutely fantastic. Paul and Lori are absolutely fantastic. Everyone who was involved in this was just so awesome. Soon as I can I will upload more pictures but I just wanted to say thank you again we love the house that we got to stay in we loved the food we love the music we love the venue we love the area everything was just extremely perfect and above and beyond what we were ever hoping for. I rarely ever post Yelp reviews but had to for this place. I finally have time to sit down and type out a review & I don't even know where to start! As a bride, this was the very first venue my now husband and I visited. We spent a fun Valentine's Day driving up to see the place and we never looked at other venues after that...didn't even bother!! The view from the venue is breathtaking! Fresh air, cool breeze, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city...everything we wanted for our big day! It was close enough to home to accommodate family but just far enough to be considered a destination wedding. From the moment we arrived to the venue on our very first visit to the moment my husband and I left the venue after eating breakfast the morning after our wedding, Paul has been ever-present throughout the whole wedding process. He was always very prompt to respond to any concerns or questions I had and was very straightforward about the services he provided. There were never any hidden fees or underlying issues. He was always very kind and welcoming and always asking about how he can help make my special day "stress free"! I always felt at ease working with him and he was always very accommodating, especially with my big guest list and large bridal party! He wanted to make sure everything turned out the way I pictured and so communicated very well with me in the months leading to the wedding and was very patient with this busy bride when I was the one who was too busy to respond (which was a lot of the time). My husband and I have been very impressed with him since day one and my husband thinks his personality alone was a big part of why we loved the venue so much! :) Paul was able to find chiavari chairs for my reception very quickly and even snagged me a deal on them (they are very expensive & I would have never considered them but I have saved so much money on the venue that renting them was not a problem--they have their own chiavari chairs available for rental now for their future events). He even figured out a way to fit all 300 of my guests into their beautiful barn and still have enough space for a dance floor. The day before the wedding, I was so stressed out and in a panic because I had procrastinated on a lot of things. I arrived to the venue late the night before and Paul had been waiting with his family for my instruction for set up. I felt really bad and he was already home by the time I got there. However, he was on top of everything the next day moving things where instructed without any hesitation! We rented the bed and breakfast for my bridesmaids to get ready in and sleep in the night before and they loved it! The beds were so comfortable! I only got 2 hours of sleep the night before my wedding and had been awake more than 24 hours prior to that (my nerves were getting to me). My bridesmaids and I were greeted in the morning with coffee and a delicious breakfast cooked by Paul himself (delicious)! The day of the wedding, everything was perfect! I wish I could relive that day over and over again!!! I watched my guests through the windows as I hid in the bridal suite...smiling, playing games, taking pictures...& I knew it was going to be a good day! Even in our busy-ness, Lorie was constantly checking up on my husband and I (as well as my coordinator, bridesmaids, and family) to make sure we were well accommodated and happy! "Is there anything else I can do for you?" was a common question we heard throughout the night. I cannot express how grateful we are to have stumbled across this little gem of a place & are so blessed to have had our wedding here! You don't have to sacrifice quality over quantity--the price is right & the venue is indeed stunning! A few things to keep in mind when visiting the venue--the elevation does make the venue a breezy place. It actually knocked down our welcome frame which unfortunately cracked before any of our guests could see it (oh, Mother Nature...). Make sure to bring a sweater! It can also get pretty hot around mid-noon when the sun is high. I could go on and on about this place but I'll leave with a list of helpful details for future brides or event planners: - outdoor/lawn games (provided by venue) - multiple altar decor/backdrop options (cross, frame, etc.) - no hidden fees/hassle free - beautiful venue with chandeliers, gold-dusted floors, antique mirrors & breathtaking views of the mountains (our guests loved taking photos during golden hour) - big bed & breakfast to rent for the day before (which allows you ample time for set up whenever you want to start and less set-up stress the day of the wedding) - a variety of beautiful decor to borrow and use - honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi - driving through the windmill farm to get there (pretty cool) - chairs, linen, plates, silverware all provided - breakfast of your choice cooked by Paul (Mmm...chilequiles!) - kind & helpful venue owners is always a plus!!! booking our wedding at rose garden was a nightmare from the beginning. there was continuous miscommunication with travel dates, amounts due, etc. from beginning to end. i cannot begin to express the stress and frustration this venue caused. long story short they had me in tears up until friday before the wedding. during our year and a half planning, we were bounced around from lori to monique (a complete disaster) and finally to ben. all in all, the wedding day came out beautifully and we owe that completely and solely to our photographers and dj. john and deeann (photographers) were five stars. ten if i could!! they were beyond amazing and took over the wedding day to make sure i was happy and calm. in addition to an unexpected video, the pictures were beautiful beyond belief! plus, deeann brought me baby burp cloths because she knew we were expecting, fixed my garder that broke, and had bobby pins on hand. all my guests raved about rbe amazing photographers id hire them over and over again. ben (dj) was also so courteous and kind. he had our playlist exactly how we wanted, ensured i was happy and had water or whatever i requested, checked in consistently. he def got the party started and had everyone laughing and having fun. i only wish ben had taken over management from the very beginning! read more

My husband's cousin had his wedding here in November. I have never been to Tehachapi before so I had no idea what the town was like. The views from this venue were gorgeous! I wish I took some photos. I even met the owners Paul and Lori (the red head) they were delightful and do a great job with the place. read more

We had an amazing wedding at Rose Garden Estate. I dropped things off the morning of the wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing for the rest of the day. Jamie and the rest of the team made sure everything was set up beautifully and without incident. Having the house to get ready was an extra bonus. We had plenty of space to move around. The wedding went off without a hitch. You can tell they have done a lot of weddings and have everything down to a science, even down to when we would have evening pictures. We ended up having to move a dance to the end of the night, but you would never have known there was a change. The food was great, the cake was beautiful, our venue was gorgeous, and our DJ Ben was fantastic. I'm not sure what happened during cocktail hour, but when we joined out guests at least 5 people told me how much fun they were having and the reception hadn't really started yet! Even my 82 year-old uncle got on the dance floor. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Jamie and the team also packed everything up and had it ready for us when we checked out of the house the next morning. Staying overnight was especially relaxing as we didn't have to travel once the reception was over, plus we got to enjoy the silence and the spa tub! It really felt like the perfect wedding. If you end up booking with Rose Garden, you won't be disappointed. read more

I got at the Rose Garden Estate in January 2018 and we had the best day ever! Before the wedding Luke helped me get everything set up just the way I wanted and was so helpful in making sure I had everything I needed. I didn't have much trouble decorating as the scenery is so beautiful you really only need little accents here and there. Everyone had the best time at the reception and the food is sooo good! We had the American cater it is delicious and we had so much leftover. During the reception Lorie and Luke both checked in with me multiple times to make sure everything was going well. I had the luxury package which was super helpful. It was so nice to know that everything was taken care of by the venue and not having to go through the stress of finding vendors. I did switch out one of the package vendors which was my own personal thing so I don't have experience with all four of them but the ones I did have were amazing! Switching out a vendor, I learned that to do so will cost you a little bit, so be aware if that is something you are thinking about doing. Even with the loss I don't think I would have done anything differently because with the value of the luxury package we stilled saved more than we would have if we would have done it another way and we are so happy with the vendors that we had at our wedding. Paul and Lorie are super accommodating with last minute changes too. Lorie didn't officiate our wedding, which she will for the same price if you would like, but we asked her to lead us through our rehearsal very last minute and she was so understanding and helpful. Paul comes to the house and cooks you a delicious breakfast as a married couple the morning after the wedding. The house is beautiful and spacious and I'm convinced that the Rose Garden estate has the best Honeymoon suite in the world! I would recommend the Rose Garden Estate to anyone! You will work with good, personable people and you and your guests will have the time of your lives! You always hear of things going wrong the day of but I didn't really have that. The day of I kept thinking I can't believe how well this is going and even now looking back I think wow I can't believe that was our wedding! Thank you Rose Garden Estate for giving us the perfect wedding day :) read more

Beautiful venue with breath taking views. Air conditioning during the summer months is an obvious plus! Holds up to 300 people comfortably... Beautiful decorations and tables and Chairs...and the price was very reasonable. Easy to find with a lot of parking space. Very pleased with the staff and how accommodating they are. The ceremony area has Trees surrounding it so everyone sits in the shade. Bathrooms are clean and the kitchen is very large. I'd highly recommend this venue if your looking to get married in this area. read more

I had my wedding at rose garden estates two month ago, I just got my pictures back and I was blown away by how beautiful they are thanks to the amazing background. The venue was was amazing and i have been asked if I used a backdrop. I let them know that it is not a backdrop but the beautiful mountains of tehachapi. Let me start off by saying that the place is beautiful, but that doesnt make up for the shitty experience. Everything was unorganized and awkward. The marriage officiant was the worst she forgot her lines messed up a lot of times and spoke so low no one was able to hear her on top of that she was really unorganized and just plain rude. When the bride asked her if she can repeat herself she was rude. Its the brides biggest day of her life if you cant work with the stress and cant make the brides day perfect DONT BE A MARRIAGE OFFICIAL!!! Btw this was ment to be a 1 star review read more

I was a guest at a wedding here, and every single aspect was OUTSTANDING! The decor was to die for, beautiful details in every inch, the 360° view was gorgeous of the mountains, and on a hot day, the barn had great a/c that kept all of us cool! The staff was amazing, so friendly. I have to say though, the best part was that the chairs for the wedding ceremony were ALL IN THE SHADE. YEEESSSS! Highly recommend getting married here. An absolutely beautiful venue for my brother's wedding. The hosts were great and everything was taken care of. The view of the valley and farmland is spectacular and reminded me a lot of my hometown in the Sierra foothills of northern California. The place is beautiful but the fact that the lady who married my aunt was so sad. The lady was dressed unprofessional. She has zero experience with this. She shouldn't be marrying people. It's sad how the didn't get to say their " I do's", you weren't able to here the bride and groom when they shared their vows. read more

Paul: Please do not put words in my mouth..... I never said my daughter had the "wedding of her dreams" to you ever. I barely spoke to you the night of the wedding because I just did not want to deal with you anymore than I had to. In addition.....if there were "multiple" items broken by the guests, why didn't you make a claim with the insurance co. vs. taking my security deposit? Honestly, you chose the easier path just so you could get extra cash from your customer. FYI: i don't remember ever discussing anything with you Lorie. As I stated, you and your husband have a lot to learn about the hospitality business!! Do you or do you not have enough tables for 300 people, answer the question? Do you or do you not have dishes for 300 people? Answer the question? A few minutes to relocate 300 chairs from outside to inside??? You barely got the venue permitted and cleaned and open for business and I'm to expect you to remove chairs efficiently?? Trash removal?? Your Paul stated to ME at our walk thru that HE would be responsible for trash removal!! I have my proof too!! Get your stories straight....advice: get yourself some dumpsters. For 5000.00 you can provide a courtesy for your customers! As to the damage to bathrooms ) which by the way had plugged up toilets and NO TOILET PAPER ALL NIGHT) and your priceless antiques? That's the price of doing business with the public and that's unfortunate. I can't be held responsible for what a few idiots do when they can't handle their alcohol. That's what event insurance is for. If you are so worried about your priceless antiques then maybe you shouldn't display them in a rental???? I have no recollection of anyone entering unauthorized areas of your house but MAYBE they were searching for TOILET PAPER!!! We were rationed, yes rationed 2 rolls for 2 days!! As for the alcohol consumption by your husband....I PURCHASED THE ALCOHOL! As for the food and cake consumption by your husband? I PURCHASED THE FOOD AND CAKE! I NEVER gave him my permission. I was deeply offended by him entering the house uninvited while no one was present! You're worried about a stupid dish disappearing?? How about him alone in a house with our possessions??? CASH GIFTS, WEDDING GIFTS. PRICELESS HEIRLOOM JEWELRY, GUEST PURSES AND MY SLEEPING GRANDCHILDREN!!!! I've read your other reviews, are you going to attack them bc of their one star experience too? Don't beg for a 5 star review, it's unbecoming. And then when you don't get what you want, you attack the folks who have the one thing you want, our recommendation. I just deejayed a wedding here, and I'm very impressed. The views, the amenities, and the features are obviously high quality, but the staff are the real standout. I can't think of any Bed & Breakfast location of this quality for hundreds of miles. This is a great value, and I'd recommend them for any wedding or corporate clients. So lucky we found this B&B, it was perfect! We stayed in the Ruby Room for 2 nights and it was so lovely. The jetted tub was phenomenal, definitely fell asleep in there by accident ha! The bed was super comfy and luxurious, had a very good night's sleep both nights. The view was just beautiful every morning and helped contribute more to our relaxation. Paul was an absolute kickass host! Not only did he make a great and hearty breakfast for us on both of the mornings but he entertained us the entire meal; something you definitely don't get at any hotel. His French toast was just fantastic! Plus, he made us a filet mignon that was cooked to perfection, yum!! As for the town of Tehachapi, it's a charming and quiet small town but everyone we met were such nice people. We loved our experience in Tehachapi and at the Rose Garden! read more

I have read many reviews on here for the Rose Garden Estates. It is a beautiful facility. My question for the owner is; why, when a person has a complaint, do you not address it for in a professional kind manner? For instance there have been several complaints about your employee, instead of attacking the patron call them ask them what happened. I feel the biggest problem here is an employee. Monica met us and she spoke rudely to us when we were just inside the door, (no construction going on and I can ask the County), when I said the door was open and I stepped inside and yelled hello we are here, she looked me up and down and chewed me out, now if she had been on time for our 11:00 appointment that would of never happened, I'm sorry, as it was implied 11 was to early, She was rude, talked about me when I went to get your money in front of my daughter, by the way who went to look at the establishment for a wedding and yes on the contrary to the other rebuttal said would of been paid for in cash, also we were looking for a place for the prom but not only that a 50s bday party for my daughters mother n law. So go ahead pull stuff from other people text, argue, make up excuses, but a mature business owner would take care of that employee, apologize, and try to rectify this situation for the sake of this beautiful establishment, it's obvious you have an employee problem, so even an small apology to Courtney Cheever would of made a huge difference in the world of Yelp, instead of countering with a childish text in the world of a teen. I'm sorry this had to happen, I'm sorry Lori you were out in the middle, but you have a problem with an employee, so let's here the excuses and the petty comments for the world of Yelp to see. Or can you get a hold of me as a business owner talk as a business owner and rectify this and we will be back on here with the wonderful review the establishment deserves? A phone call makes a huge difference in a small town... and I'm sure as a business person we are on the same page, balls in your court. read more

My sister used this venue for her wedding and there was not 1 dissapointment, everything has been beyond wonderful and beautiful it has totally exceeded everyone's expectations! This is the perfect venue! There were fresh towels, bath robes, pots and pans everything you need it's here! And it's far out everyone can be as loud as they want with no problems! We loved it here I'm thinking of picking this venue for my wedding! read more

This bed and breakfast far exceeds any hotel you are going to stay at in Tehachapi for a reasonable price. The gracious host Paul makes you feel at home and makes a wonderful breakfast that he is excited to customize for you. He made us Dutch Babies that were amazing because my boyfriend mentioned that he loves lemons the morning before. The beds were super comfy and we had a choice of a Temperpedic or pillow-top for the small rooms (we choose the pillow-top). He showed us the lovely suite with the jacuzzi tub which looks tempting for next time. Very impressed and excited to find a better place to stay in the area. read more

This was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding, because my husband and I fell in love with the place the instant we set foot on the grounds and met the owners, Paul & Lorie. After the tour, we knew this was the place. The property is lovely and picturesque. The house, decorated in Victorian accents and antiques, is large, inviting and very comfortable...and filled with so much natural light it seems unreal. Then there is "the barn", a term I would only use to describe the size and shape of the structure, because it is pure elegance inside and out. After seeing all this, and realizing we were on a budget, I thought there would be no way we could afford it, but they have some amazing package deals & pricing and Paul and Lorie went out of their way to work with us to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams at the price we could afford. Not to mention, from the time we signed the contract until the wedding, Paul and Lorie were there for us every step of the way, for anything we needed to know in our preparations for the big day. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. The owners and their staff were helpful and constantly checking with us and making sure we knew they were there should anything come up, letting us know when the food would be ready, etc. And speaking of the food! If you can, at all, manage to afford the upgrade to the food prepared by chef Ilona Klar, do it! Everyone after the reception commented on how amazing and tasty it was, and the chef herself came to make sure the food was satisfactory and congratulate us on our happy day. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the venue did all the cleanup at the end, too, so all we had to worry about was relaxing in the Jacuzzi tub in the main suite of the house. After a comfortable and relaxing night's rest, Paul came in to make us OJ, coffee & breakfast (best French Toast ever!) before seeing us off with a hug and words of congratulations. read more

I would have to say that I am so very grateful for the treatment and outstanding warm customer service from this facility. I am helping my daughter (with the help of 3 other families) plan a 2021 prom and the Rose Garden Estates donated the estate at a discounted rate due to the covid-19 pandemic's effects. They have been there every step of the way and they are truly a sweet spirit in the community. I read a review regarding this event from another patron. She said that the venue was unprofessional and rude, however I have to rebut. The other review has been slanted and twisted. Yes, the venue was open and we walked in uninvited but it was an an error on our parts. The manager was upset because of safety concerns as they had the place under construction at the time doing upgrades and out of fear for our safety they asked us politely not to enter without an employee with us. As a mom, I am so proud of my daughter and our community for coming together on this and making 2021 prom a reality for our struggling teens. The other family who left a review had differences in opinion with us and removed themselves from this planning process after refusing to disclose an open and honest transparent view of finances on behalf of the 2021 prom planning process and this is why I believe they have tried to sabotage our children of Tehachapi. I want to stress again that we are so very grateful for the venue and all of it's staff and what they are sacrificing for the children this year and even in the face of critics who would want to see someone fail when they dont get their way. We want to personally thank Lorie (the owner of Rose Garden Estates), Monique and Steven and all the rest who are going to change 2021 in Tehachapi forever! read more

I came here to film a wedding and what a gem this location is! The drive from Orange County was worth it and the scenic route was beautiful with hills and wind powered mills. I hope we get to shoot another wedding here. I'll have to update my review with some photos when I get back!!! The owners were wonderful! Lorie and Paul took the time to go over the details and immaculate antiques that decorated the home. The barn was just amazing! read more

The Rose Garden Estates is hands down the best place to get married! Location, the vintage house, and Scenery is breath taking and the views are amazing. Andrew my handsome husband and I were married 3 weeks ago on Sept. 2, 2017 at the Rose Garden Estates. Paul, Lorie, and their Family sure know how to make a wedding Successful! They provided the best service, and they are upfront, reliable, and they will take care of you. We visited the place about 4 to 5 times. We signed the contact in February, We got really lucky with our date. We are from LA originally from Delano/Porterville. So it was super hard to find a Nice outdoor/Indoor venue for our family and friends to travel to. (Tip: We decided on no kids under 13 for our wedding as we didnt want to be responsible for any damages or anything breaking on the property, we also just wanted the adults to have a good time!) We decided on the Luxury Package with 150ppl, which included, drinks, food, ice, china, free decor, set up, clean up, linens,officiant, the house the night of, and sercurity for 100ppl. They were super helpful and flexible with our payments. Paul and Lorie were always available by phone, text, email. We rented the house the night before to have a rehersal dinner and to decorate. I had maybe 2 hours of sleep. (It was worth renting the night before to prep last minute decorations.) You also have to have it catered or buy pizza, you cant cook onsite, but there are tables and chairs provided. Me and my bridesmaid Cynthia were greeted in the morning with yummy breakfast & coffee. All my decorations, colors, fresh flowers were assembled by Ciciandlilidecor The day of the wedding Luke and Lorie and the rest of the crew set up everything that I asked for. I used their free decorations for the ceremony and reception.( Brides take advantage , they have cool stuff like, lace, welcome signs , cake stands, fairylights, etc) Ceremony started late cause I took forever getting ready :) I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect( Brides -its a good idea to get a day of coordinator or wedding planner to make sure u everything is on point) ( Tip:Sign in table was not as good as it was windy, make sure u plan alternate ways to hold down ur signs, etc or move inside the barn) Cocktail Hour was fun while we took photos, bar and snacks were served perfectly!(Brides- make sure u make a timeline/agenda and have food n snacks or entertainment for your guests) Rose Garden is Pet Friendly!! They let us share our special Day with mini shepard mix Bridget!! She was excited to be with us and posed in each photo :) The Food was 100% bomb.com We had tri-tip, chicken, fetticini,pesto cheese ravioli, ranch potatoes, and poppyseed salad,cheese, and fruit!! Sweet table and cake was on point.(not included in luxury pacakage) by ciciandlilidecor. Cake was by Tinas Cake, Delicious!! Bar Area was on point with our signature mixed drinks!(not included in luxury package) we made and brought our own mixed drinks in huge mason jars and brought stella rosa wine, and moscato. Lorie made a private bucket for us on our table for our moscato to stay chilled and iced. Unlimted Beer (included in luxury package) Supper bummed our photobooth didnt show up(not included in the luxury package) (Dont use photobookings.com!!!) Lorie made a quick photo kit section for our guest to take photos very kind and smart of her! Our Dj! Dj DANNY HILL was amazing! Rose Garden made it easy for him to set up the outdoor and Indoor miking and dj system. WE HAD OUR MONGRAM INITIALS ON THE FLOOR VERY COOL! Photogarphy was Amazing!! by AJ -alfredray photography, on time and did some amazing shots! Getting ready, out in the fields, and all over the venue! Very Fun and professional. We married in the evening at 4ish pm (Best time to get hitched!) It rained right after Lorie announced us husband and wife, it was like a movie!! The whole kissing in the rain, and seeing bubbles in the air AMAZING! Everyone said it was Good Luck, We will Take it! All night our ourselves and our guest said the service was incredible from Luke, Lorie and the Fam! We used La Quinta Inn, for our guests. it was $96/room (with tax) and was 15miles away. We had our wedding here in July. First, be careful! They appear to scam and nickel-and-dime you. It was perfect weather outside, but the barn got way too hot! To cool it down, we had Laurie open up the windows and doors. So don't believe anything they say about the air conditioned barn - it was cooler with the windows open. The staff employed during our ceremony was fantastic! They were kind, quick, and professional. However, my guests complained that they refused to give anyone more than one dinner roll (which is kind of funny to me). I was too busy to even enjoy the food, but I heard great things (other than the bun issue lol). As for the MAJOR issues, we were told to book our photographer through Laurie and Paul. So we paid them $1500, and were told that they would communicate with the photographers. Well, they never did!! We almost didn't have photographers at the wedding because they told us they would handle it, and never did! To make up for their mistake, they added the "fancy" chairs. Which I think should automatically be included because they aren't that fancy and they're covered in stains. Next, during our photo shoot, Laurie interrupted us to say that someone had torn out a hook in the bathroom. While discussing the problem with her, she said "I've been waiting for those hooks to fall out any day now. They're 3 years old." Then said we would be charged $50 for one hook. Tell me why we were going to be charged when they had anticipated the hook(s) to break!?!? When I confronted them about the cost and requested proof, they immediately backed down and returned our full deposit to us. Seems like they lied to us. read more

We were just married at the Rose Garden Estate at the end of August, and we couldn't be happier with how everything went! First, the manager was the best to work with - Ben was easygoing and professional from the start and made the night such an amazing night. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy to work with and anyone who has planned a wedding knows you have a LOT of contact with your venue prior to the event. All our expectations were met and then some. He was very accommodating when it came to planning out wedding day itinerary as we were having ceremony at a church at noon and didn't want to have a huge time gap time between the ceremony and reception and he made sure we didn't even though we had to move everything forward a few hours he made it happen. His response was always "yes of course we can do that or would this work for you?' never sorry we can't. Jamie who was the wedding coordinator was just as amazing and flexible as Ben and I am so grateful because it really took a lot of my stress away. Not only was the staff amazing but so was the food and the venue we got so many compliments on both reassuring us that we made the right choice in choosing this as our wedding venue. Would highly suggest going with choice #1 the American food catering and getting the tri tip and chicken parm as your main entrees.Really hoping someone invites us to a wedding at the Rose Garden Estate soon so we can enjoy it again but as a guest and not the center of attention lol Oh and did I mention Ben is also an amazing Dj who kept everyone dancing the whole time until the end of the night!! read more

Paul and Lorie are absolutely WONDERFUL!! Words cannot express my gratitude, & praise. From the first day I met Paul, and stepped foot on the venue, I knew that ROSE GARDEN ESTATE is where I would marry the love of my life. Every question I had, was answered right away, even while they were on vacation someone was there to assist me. The venue is spectacular! As my guests arrived they were in awe of the beauty of this gem hidden in the mountains. I went with a "Winter Western Theme" The decor they provided along with all the beautiful things my mother-in-law created for our wedding was breathtaking. Arriving & getting ready with my bridesmaids in the bed & breakfast made getting ready for the wedding so much easier. My now husband & his groomsmen were impressed that there were numerous rooms which allowed them to get ready on location as well. I must also mention that Lorie made certain that all my husbands & my wants and needs were met. From the lighting, to the temperature of the building, to how the food was to be served, every need & then some was met! The help their children & workers provided was not only professional but genuine. I could go on & on. The icing on the cake was waking up in the morning to a breakfast of delicious french toast Paul made. One week ago today, May 23 2015, we began our Happily Ever After at Rose Garden Estate. The venue is beautiful along with the natural beauty that surrounds it. I knew from the first moment I saw it, that's where I was going to have my wedding. Paul and Lorie are very passionate about their business and it shows. From the smallest details in their Victorian style B&B to the even surfaces of the lawn area for the wedding, to the ever evolving reception area in the Barn. Brides need to remember that the house is a B&B, it is customary for Mgmt/owners to have access to the common areas of the house during your stay - and when they were inside the house they were very professional and respectful to us all. Paul cooked a most delicious breakfast for all the bridal party the morning of the wedding and a special breakfast for my groom and I the morning after. Paul was always upfront and honest with me everytime I called or texted him. If I had been charged per call or per text, sheesh I would have had a ginormous bill (poor Paul, Heh!) - but they were always cheerful and helpful answering every single detailed question we had. The Rose Garden estate brought our dream wedding to life! Everything from start to finish was wonderful! Starting with their stunning location in the Cummings Valley. They handled every detail expertly and professionally to create a day that was enjoyed by every guest and was exactly what the bride and groom had envisioned! The photographers made sure that all the important and special moments were beautifully captured. The caterers provided a superb buffet meal, for which we received many compliments. And that goes for the cake and dessert baker too! The reception room was beautifully appointed and decorated, and the florist created exactly and beautifully our vision. Our guests had a great time with the photo booth and the DJ was the absolute best! Lots of fun and laughter! Rose Garden Estate was a wonderful venue to work with. My husband, my mom, and myself loved that the venue offered different packages. We chose the the "luxury boutique" package, which included the venue, the caterer (we chose BBQ), the DJ, cake/desserts, florist, ability to get ready in the beautiful home on the venue property and my husband got to spend the night in the home as though it was an Airbnb. The packaged also included servers, a bar area that includes beer and sweet wine coolers. The wedding coordinator was great and was so helpful! While myself and my bridal party were getting ready, my mom started to feel hungry. The wedding coordinator offered and went to get snacks. The ceremony was wonderful. The venue/coordinator/DJ (the DJ is also the venue manager). He was great as well! Very personable. The area where the bridal part gets ready was beautiful, plenty of room for bride and bridesmaids to do makeup and hair. You get to meet with the woman who makes the cake and desserts, the florist, and the DJ, pick out all of the designs you want and songs you want. Everything was perfect. read more

The moment I walked into this Venue, I knew it was were I wanted to have my wedding I never even thought twice. From beginning to end Lori was so wonderful. She is really the most sweetest and patient person. Weddings can be stressful but Lori does it all and knows it all. The Venue is simply gorgeous. All the vendors are amazing. For some reason yelp does not have this place on the main page ? It's the only one in Tehachapi but they only show you out of the area places -stupid . I live in Tehachapi and my grandmother was visiting . I did not want her to be in a hotel room 15 miles away from Bear Valley Springs where I live . I checked out the bed and breakfast first ( Paul gave me a tour ) I felt really comfortable with the bed and breakfast. The place was spotless and very beautiful . I picked out the Amethyst room because Grammie loves purple . The look on her face when she saw it let me know I scored a home run . The next morning after Paul made a breakfast to order for her she talked my ear off about how nice Paul was and how she loved sitting by the fire and looking at all the antiques and the view . Rose Garden Estates Bed and Breakfast is a true hidden gem in the Cummings Valley. Our recent stay was on Valentine's Day, 2014 (which is also my birthday). We experienced beautiful mountainous surroundings that were both secluded and yet very close to Tehachapi, CA. It is very quiet and serene. We enjoyed the countryside and the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen in a very long time. Paul was the most gracious and friendly host that met every need that we could possibly had. Our time spent at the Rose Garden Estate was one of the most romantic evenings and I will remember it the rest of my life. The accomodations were quaint and yet very elegantly decorated. It met my every expectation; equivalent of a five star hotel with the warmness of a bed and breakfast. The food that was presented to us for breakfast the next morning was nothing but exquisite. I'm speechless about this venue and the vendors that are included. Everything was perfection, there is not one thing I would have changed or made different. The DJ and photographers (which are included in the packages) where absolutely perfect and made everything run smooth. The dessert company and food caters were awesome as well. This is one of the only venues I found that when they say all inclusive (just bring your dress) it's the truth, no secrets no hidden fees. The venue and surrounding areas are beautiful. The reception building is decorated beautifully where you don't even have to stress about decorating anything. A few weeks ago, my husband and I got married at Rose Garden Estates. Everything was perfect! The grounds are beautiful. The outdoor ceremony had an open rolling field background, perfect for rustic style pictures. The indoor reception barn is decorated with cream and gold tones that go with any color scheme. We chose the complete package with all the vendors included: DJ, flowers, cake, food, even photographers! This took so much stress off the planning process. Everything everything from their vendors (cake, floral, food, photographers, DJ) to estate itself was better than we could've asked for. Not only were they all super accommodating & completely understanding, they were extremely friendly & catered to our each & every desire. We had our wedding here last Saturday and I couldn't ask for anything better! Everything just went so smoothly. We used their photographers, DJ, and caterer and everyone was blown away. Jon and DeAnn really kept us on schedule and DeAnn even sewed some lose beads on my belt 20 minutes before I had to walk down the aisle! It was so sweet. Ben was also our dj and MC, he made the day flow very smoothly, even reminding us to eat. Jamie was our coordinator the day of, he had a time-line and made sure everything was running smoothly. We just had our wedding last night and it went smooth and perfect. Jaime was amazing at answering all our questions and making sure we were in the loop leading up to our day. He made sure all vendors were in contact with us and through the wedding helped when a small issue arose. And having Ben as our DJ was a fantastic choice.
