Great place, great experience. It took me a while to find the right place upstate where dip powder was done correctly, and at last, here it is. After explaining all I wanted and all that was done wrong at previously visited nail salons, Alex didn't disappoint. Ive done dip powder for 10 years, first in Miami, then in NYC, and am used to a specific level of meticulous work done gently and properly, which was very hard to find around here. But Rose Garden is not only a beautiful place itself with a relaxing vibe, but everything from customer service of all associates, to work done on nails is of great quality. first off, they did not sanitize a single thing between uses. Secondly, my nails are all different lengths and shapes after filing even though I asked for ONE shape and to get them as even as they could. Thirdly, I got a gel manicure and they did not go down to my cuticle. They look extremely grown out and I got them done 4 days ago. The ladies were nice but very unsanitary and less than stellar results. Will definitely not be back read more

I went because they were open on a Sunday. They tried to upsell a more expensive manicure. My dip powder lasted 2 days before chipping. By the end of week it was completely ruined. Their prices are not competitive for the area. Can get a dip mani for $10 cheaper around the corner that lasts 3-4 weeks. read more

I called on a Friday morning and was able to make an appointment within an hour. The space is huge and beautifully decorated. I was asked to pick a color and taken to a pedicure chair with the massage built in. Super comfortable. I was told of the special pedicures but decided to just get a basic. The guy working on my nails worked quickly and efficiently and my nails looked great and I felt relaxed. The space was super clean. I will definitely return when I am in the area. read more

Coming in, it's a beautiful salon, aesthetically pleasing for the instagram pics and reels and the staff is welcoming. I came in looking to do a Brazilian, underarm, and lower leg wax. Starting off with my Brazilian, a ton of hair was missed by a technician and they considered it done. I mentioned that there was a ton of hair still and she happily obliged. She had trouble removing some of the shorter hair that she previously trimmed and called for another technician. Sunny comes in, examined the work previously done and removed every remaining hair. I was beyond pleased with Sunny's work, she's thorough, and knows exactly what to do with soft and sensitive skin. I will definitely be coming back here again and specifically request Sunny, 10/10. read more

Sunny does an amazing job on my finger nails - her attention to detail is amazing. I've never had a nail technician that does the type of detailed work she does. I just had my third buildable gel fill on my fingers and once again - perfection! I've also had a pedicure by Ivy and she is equally amazing and detailed. In the past, I've always been somewhat disappointed by nail salons due to mistakes or just not feeling satisfied - I'm so glad that's changed going to Rose Garden! I discovered this place on Mother's Day when my daughter took me for a pedicure. What a treat! They took their time and even gave me a $10 coupon that they let us use that day. I decided to try them out for my gel nails and haven't regretted it. Sunny is the owner. She took over earlier this year. She is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Her daughter works there as well and gives off the same vibe. At the last place I went to, without fail, I would have a broken or chipped nail. Her technical skills are flawless and she is GREAT at nail art! She has an active Facebook presence and posts pictures multiple times a week of her work. I like that I can message a picture of what I want before I get there, so she is prepared. The pricing is clearly displayed for all services, so no surprises. The facility is clean and welcoming. I switched to this place after having one too many poor experiences at the "other" Manlius nail spa. I have been here a total of 6 times. First visit: mani/pedi with my husband. Unscheduled. Fine experience. Visits 2 and 3: powder dip mani + pedi. Unscheduled. The owner was VERY put out but they did good work. Visits 4 and 5: learned my lesson and scheduled appointments. They encouraged me to get the UV stuff because my nails were soft. I complied and my nails looked fine. Visit 6: scheduled UV fill. I had a new girl. She was FAST but my nails look like crap. The gel isn't even connected to my natural nails. My thumb nail popped off after 10 days while picking up my 5 year old's shoes. I'm now sitting here, swarmed by fruit flies, waiting for the girl who came in unscheduled after me to get her own broken nail fixed. Time to move on. read more
