Do not believe anything they tell you without independently verifying it with your own insurer. In my case it involves Medicare and Blue Cross Blue shield. Neither one of these covered the provider and question yet I was told she was under both initially and in fact she was under neither. I won't mention the provider's name because this is not her fault but is seriously problematic.

She has a soothing voice, but she was looking for me to just start supplying information to her and I thought no I'm not gonna say sh_t, I felt the need to leave these so that other people and especially senior citizens are treated with respect. I wouldn't want anyone to lose their job but if they don't want to be there and don't want any more patient customer service then they don't need to be there in my opinion and also I've been in business for 40 years. Even after explaining the side effects I am experiencing due to the delay, I still have not received the support I need. When I spoke with Jeanette, she kept changing the reasons why my medication hadn't been refilled or why I hadn't received a call back from the doctor. At one point, she told me my insurance was not valid--without even having my file pulled up. I contacted my insurance company myself, and they confirmed there are no issues. Despite this, the office failed to set up my appointment the four different times I reached out. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with a manager, Jeanette transferred me back to the main line instead of connecting me with anyone who could actually help. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially in healthcare where people's lives and well-being are at stake. Since they do not want to help me , I will be taking the next step of reporting this office. Patients deserve staff who take their health seriously, follow through, and provide accurate information.
