We had seen some ideas that we liked, and expected to receive some help with stone and tile selections at Lee Tile. Upon entering, we wandered around for a time while the young woman was on the phone. When she had completed her call, she continued to ignore us, and when we asked for help, it seemed that we were interrupting her day. We told her what we are looking to do, and after only about 2 minutes, she told us that if we had pictures of the things we liked, to email them and they would 'take a look'. At that point she just pointed us toward some samples and told us that if we had any questions, to ask. Well, we had a lot of questions, but it was obvious that she wasn't the person to be dealing with. We since found a place in the Capital District that has done a great job in investigating our needs and recommending solutions. Since our experience a couple months ago, we have heard similar opinions form others who have been frustrated with their lack of service. Unfortunately, we would suggest avoiding Lee Tile.

I don't understand this business. They do amazing installation work but if you need any kind of…read moresimple service after they pack up, it's like you never existed. Case in point: I have a frameless shower door that was installed in my home by Kent Glass. Every time we take a shower, the glass door has to be covered with a SHOWER CURTAIN because otherwise the floor floods. Why? The seals don't cover the complete area around the door, especially at the bottom where the water collects. Four phone calls to Kent glass over a month and I still have not spoken to anyone who seems interested in helping me. Well, perhaps the suggestion one of their people made, "Call a plumber," should count as being helpful? But three plumber conversations later, with all three saying "It's the installer's issue," I'm still living with a scummy shower curtain we have to rig up every time the shower is used. If this is how you envision using your future bathroom, give them a call.
