I went at Rose Nailspot to get a pedicure done with my mother-in-law and it's actually my second time here. I had great experience for both times from customer service and the quality of their work. The staff who did my pedicure was Ben. He's friendly and had very light hands and unlike other nail salons, I did not feel rushed at all. The place is very nicely decorated and most importantly very clean. My mother-in-law, who was from out of state, was also very pleased with her manicure by Lily. She had a dipping and she said that Lily did really well. We will definitely go back again. read more

Updated: I tried this place again and spent $120. First off they did shave down my nail underneath the acrylic so now the outer edges of my nails are hanging out. My nail broke after 2 days, I never had any of my nails break since I've been getting my nails done. The paint is chipping after a week. On my toes, the color is fading and the paint is chipping after a week. Not to mention I had an appointment and still had to wait almost 45 mins. Don't get me wrong everyone was nice there for the most part but I just wish the quality was better. Won't be back anymore. read more

This is an amazing nail salon! Love that it is small and locally owned and operated. They're also incredibly hygienic and the customer service is outstanding! They really want to make sure you enjoy your time there and are happy with your service. Love that they're really taking all of the precautions for COVID, like limiting the amount of people in the spa, and having plexiglass between you and the mail tech. I have crazy sensitive skin and get horrible reactions when acetone is used to remove my SNS, and they were so nice and accommodating and were able to remove my SNS without using acetone!!! I have visited Rose Nailspot multiple times now and I will keep coming back! The receptionist is so nice and they always take good care of me, offering me a beverage when I arrive. I often go for a pedicure and dip powder manicure. Thao is my favorite for pedicures, she is so gentle and always leaves my toenails with the perfect shape and very shiny, never leaves any calluses. My reason for going back though is my girl Anne. Anne does my dip powder nails so perfectly every time. She is careful and a perfectionist. She always knows which colors I like and helps me choose which one would look best. She loves to chat and always makes me feel comfortable. Highly highly recommend both of these ladies and this spot! I have met Mrs. Rose herself and she is so accommodating and is always walking around checking up on all of the customers. There is calming music playing and TVs showing calming shows. I changed my mind to have an overlay which I did let them know about before starting. When I say overlay I don't mean a full set. The tech proceeded to put tips on after I asked for an overlay. Don't get me wrong the work is great, the atmosphere is amazing and it is a wonderful place to go but not getting what I asked for is what kills it for me. I literally never leave reviews, but I decided to come to this salon based off its "amazing" reviews so thought I needed to post this one. I was so excited cause it was my first time finally getting an appointment lol I went in on a Friday & got a dip manicure, which I made sure to schedule as such. By Monday all my nails had come off, literally just peeled off like stickers. This has never happened to me, with dip or any service! I called to ask about it & they were able to accommodate me to get it fixed. I come in for that appointment and, I assume, the manager came to ask me what the issue was. She was a little rude stating that I may have done something myself to mess them up, but then quickly changed her demeanor & offered to do whatever I wanted at a discounted price. She told me that only certain techs do dip manicures & the others only do shellac? And somehow I got sat with someone who only does shellac, which I'm not sure how because my appointment was specifically for dip. Anyway, she figured out who my first tech was (because she wasn't there when I came in this second time) and told me that tech doesn't do dip so she most likely did shellac and I didn't specify what I wanted correctly (idk how many other ways there are to ask for dip, but ok). I explained to her that the tech literally dipped my fingers into a powder and she still insisted that she only does gel so no I was confused and I got gel and that's why they peeled... definitely not the case, I got dip lol. I asked before we started if multiple colors were ok, she said "yes, as long as you're happy!" I even offered to pay full price because of the extra work & she said no it was ok. When I told her I didn't like one of the colors & asked to change it she basically told me I was asking for too much for the price she was giving me. I told her again I would pay full price & whatever extra to buff it down and change the color, she refused. She then proceeded to file and buff my nails so aggressively! I winced and pulled away from her several times because she would buff and file on my skin! She half apologized under her breath. I understand I came in to get something fixed & was given a discounted price, but I offered to pay full price because I knew I was asking for extra, I had no problem with paying full price. All this to say specify what you would like & make sure you're sat with a tech who actually does the service you want! And maybe ask to test the colors before they're put on ? Because your nails might get a beating when you ask for something else :) read more

Had the worst experience at rose nail spot. From the get go my friend showed a picture and requested gel nails they told her she couldn't do it. No other options given just no sorry we can't do it. So she had to settle for something she didn't want. When I got my manicure with Kim she was very rough and cut a big piece of cuticle and part of my finger and it started bleeding a lot she tried to keep the finger away and put cotton so I wouldn't notice but it kept bleeding and bleeding and it really hurt. She put some liquid on it to slow the bleeding but damage was already done. I even showed the owner and she just said oh sorry. I told her I didn't want to pay full price becuase the cut was pretty big and painful she offered $5 off... ok well that doesn't compensate me for the pain or time it will take to heal my finger. $100 I paid for a crap service and a bloody painful finger. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

One tech finished a client so the woman next to me went to sit with her. So I'm next right? Lol. Random white girl walks in. Another white girl with a tech goes "Oh, that's my friend!" Random white girl immediately gets sat with a tech. I'd already been waiting 30 mins. Receptionist said nothing to me but offered every other person a drink. I'm not one to wish ill will on people or their businesses but respectfully, fuck y'all. Karma is a bitch and God really don't even play about me like that. Not gonna lie, I came here bc it's close to my house, been here once before and liked the service, and bc my previous tech retired...so I'm on the look for a new tech....4 stars to the lady who did my nails, she did a pretty good job, 2 slightly not straight nails and 2 uneven powder application but other than that pretty good...thin the way I like and helped me pick out my color based off my inspiration pic....but then it took over 40 mins of me waiting for someone to do my nail design for 4 fingers and still no one to do them....they could have put me in a pedicure chair and started my pedicure while I was waiting for my nail design...I made an appointment for a pedicure too...but after 40 mins of waiting for nail design (now I've been there for 2 hrs and only my nails done) I didn't have time to wait around anymore....and insult to injury the cost for a basic overlay was kinda outrageous to me...so I'm not sure if I'ma be back...so disappointing read more

Worst experience ever! They don't know how to file/shape nails and clean/cut cuticles. They give you attitude when you tell them you don't like what they're doing. The lady filed my nail crooked and said it looks like that because of my skin underneath. My nails are short with a bad file job! To top it off, the nail tech wasn't painting my entire nail because she didn't evenly push my curicle back. I told her to paint my whole nail. Who leaves a portion of a nail unpainted and then tells the customer they have bad nails! I've gotten my nails done a million times. She just sucked! In addition to this she painted my nail and my skin!! Worst service ever. Paid $70! What a waste of money! Day two and the shellac/gel polish is already chipping. DO NOT GO. Terrible! Manager didn't even offer a discount for the shitty service. I'm 26 with nails that look like a 12 year old painted them herself with her non dominate hand. read more

It was one best choices I've made this year! The atmosphere is so relaxing, the staff are like close friends (or more like family but without the squabbling!), and the services cover more than I could ask for. Ms. Rose is very skilled and she does my nails just the way I want them. The prices are certainly competitive for this area. An added bonus is that the spa is about a mile from home. They are very careful about keeping the staff and customers safe with temp checks, mask requirements, social distancing, and overall cleanliness of the spa. It's spotless. Decided to give this place a try after reading reviews and I really wish I hadn't. My go to nail salon was busy and I always always get dip french tips, only dip, nothing else. I booked an appointment and I told them to hat I had wanted, even showed a picture (I just wanted black tip french nails, almond shape). They said okay and finally when the lady gets to the last step, I'm confused because she never did the tip in black. I ask and she goes "I'm doing it shellac" I asked her if that was extra and she told me yes $25 extra. Had I known that it was extra, I would NEVER had asked for french tips. I have always gotten french dip nails WITHOUT ever having to use shellac so I was confused. I politely declined and said nevermind so they just put a topcoat over some very plain nude nails. I called back and explained the situation and the receptionist asked why I didn't say anything, well I have bad social anxiety so it's hard for me to speak up sometimes. The nails I left with were the ugliest shape, nothing like what I had wanted. I wish I had taken a picture of how bad it was but the Owner finally texted me asking me to come back so she could fix it. The receptionist tells me she can change the color and reshape it for me. Awesome right? No, the job was rushed and my nails were SO thin, 3 of them broke off after 2 days. The cutest nail salon I've seen in Katy, TX! All of the staff was very professional and friendly. I rate the salon at a 3 because the quality of my pedicure was mediocre. I also got a shellac manicure but without the actual manicure that includes cleaning of the cuticles, lotion massage etc. It seemed as though they were just trying to hurry because it was closing time and did not finish the manicure. The shellac also peeled off in about 5-6 days on its own. I probably wouldn't return but I can say this establishment was very clean and lots of cleaning was happening during my visit. read more

From the second you walk in, every single person is extremely attentive. I think I've had about every person in the salon work on my nails at this point and each are very special. I thought I'd try Rose Nailspot because they have excellent reviews and it's close to my home. I requested a pedicure and manicure with dip nails. I got the pedicure it was ok but not for the $$, I sat for a very long time waiting to have my nails done. Young lady asked me numerous time manicure and dip? They finally asked me to move up front to the nail bar. No manicure, she used the dremel to clean up my nails and cuticles . She then dipped them and then didn't do them ask I had requested and had to redo. I am sure because she was interrupted 4 times and walked away, counter money, checked her phone while doing my nails. Continued to say I make you wait to long and would laugh. Still No manicure. I questioned the price when told I was being charged for a pedicure and manicure because they tried to charge me $5 over the posted price for dip nails, she just rudely told the attendant to take the extra $5 off. Needless to say I was very disappointed. It's a nice salon, but not managed properly with managing customers requests.
