I can't say enough good things about this shop. My experience start to finish was beyond what I expected. I spoke with them direct through instagram. They were attentive, clear in communication, and very easy to work with from the beginning. Upon our first look at the piece Ashlo created, she was very open to any adjustments we wanted and was very kind and understanding if we wanted to make any changes, which were minimal because we fell in love with the piece right away. The shop was absolutely gorgeous. You can tell they really take a lot of time and care with their space. So many of their pieces on the wall were fantastic conversation starters and had such fun stories, it made the experience overall so much fun and so interesting. I'd pay just to sit in their shop and hear about all the stories behind the items. So incredibly cool! Their shop is welcoming and felt like a carefully curated safe space. More so than an anything, I want to highlight our experience with Ashlo. We booked a tattoo for 3 of us to get together, a friendship piece. 1 of my friends was getting their very first tattoo and expressed nervousness with the experience. Ashlo couldn't have been more kind and patient with my friend. That means the absolute world to all 3 of us! That kind of patience and kindness for a first time is something that I didn't take lightly. That sets a shop apart from others. Ashlo also mentioned that if we had any issues after healing or with a little bit of time, she is more than happy to do so because she wants her clients to be happy with their pieces. Let me start off by saying Sandra and Ashlo are very kind and welcoming :)! The studio was clean and well decorated. The service was not what I had an issue with. It was the outcome of my tattoo. So I had specifically requested a hibiscus flower and even sent a reference of what I wanted. I ended up getting a dark, misaligned, and not what I asked for tattoo. Then when I brought it up, I was sorta blamed? If Ashlo was not able to do/didn't do that type of design, why didn't she say that before taking my 800 dollars? She also mentioned this has happened before? It's very hard to describe the disappointment I feel, they offered to fix it (which originally they wanted to charge me $350 for then brought it down to $100 when I said it was unfair) But as she said, it was not guaranteed that the white would stay or make it any better. I don't write this to try to bash or hate on them, because some of their work is great. But please be careful, make sure you get a reference pic, and make it very clear what you want. read more

I saw Ashlo for a fine line tattoo, and my experience was phenomenal! Not only did she already have the tattoo drawn out, but when I told her I get anxiety and have some other health issues, she was incredibly kind and accommodating. The studio is so cute, and both Ashlo and Sandra were welcoming and sweet. Because of my anxiety, I like to chit-chat during a tattoo session, and Ashlo was incredible! She asked about me and let me just gab away. And the tattoo... It's PERFECT! Not only is it what I wanted, but it's better than what I wanted. I am obsessed! I'll add a photo when it heals. It's so hard to find talented fine line artists in SCV, and her work is seriously so amazing. I can't wait to go back to her for many more pieces. Ashlo IS THE BEST! I had wanted to pay tribute to my late brother Tommy and my wife's birth month flowers and I wanted to incorporate his guitar and my love for bones (quite the order). Ashlo helped make this custom unique piece come true for me. From the day I got it I have received so many compliments. I always make sure to give them Ashlo's info. Overall the tattoo took less than 2 hours. One of the most frequent compliment about the tattoo is the detail people seem to notice that right off the bat. Went for a small fine line tattoo paid way too much for very small tattoo . And couldn't even read the name on the tattoo. Sandra rushed through the work , so I ended up waiting another 30 minutes for my brother who got the exact tattoo. HORRIBLE. read more

From my first interaction via the contact form to get information to the final product of getting the tattoo, was top notch. Ashlo responded to me quickly and we started an email conversation. Within 3 days I had an appt, not only for me, but my friend as well. I was extremely nervous as this was only my second tattoo and the first one was 10 years ago. Ashlo made me feel so at ease. She really listened to what I wanted and stenciled out the perfect design. she was extremely patient and kind. She kept saying "I got you" and she was true to her words.
