Rosegold makes me smile! The staff is friendly. The clothes and accessories are thoughtfully selected and displayed. I always feel welcome to come inside and see what's new and try a few things on. If they work, they are usually sensibly priced, fit my budget and make me feel special. How nice is that? Rosegold has unique pieces - anything from very cool sunglasses, tee shirts, silky trousers, easy breezy dresses, sweaters, sweet shoes and so much more! I am updating my review of my beloved Rosegold because it has just been too long. They've moved to a space in Nichols Hills Plaza, first of all. This location is dangerously close to Trader Joe's, so I find myself drifting in more often. The main thing I wish everyone knew is that you will be made to feel welcome here. You will be made to feel like the valued customer you are. Over time, Amber will learn not only your size, but what you like to wear, what your style is, and how you like things to fit. I'm sure she has a lot of people who spend more money here than I do, but you would think I was her number one top shopper for how she makes me feel. I came in recently to find they've added luxury consigned clothing. I kind of don't want to tell you guys this, because if you knew what all she had, you'd go buy it all and there won't be anything left from me, but everyone knows I can't keep a secret. Here are some of the consignment things I saw: -Shoes: barely worn Manolos, Chanel slides, Gucci loafers, Choos, and more. -Dresses: a black DVF LBD - purchased for my sister for Christmas for a grand total of $58. So many dresses. Dresses for parties, dresses for galas. Thousands of dollars worth of Eileen Fisher and BCBG. A cashmere dress I absolutely adored, but it was too close to Christmas to shop for oneself. -Jackets, wraps, silk scarves. So so much great stuff! And finally, the best find so far: a white Burberry blazer that found its way under my Christmas tree. I refused to buy it for myself a week before Christmas. Unbeknownst to me, while I was at Rosegold shopping for my sister, my husband was waiting in his car, having seen mine in the parking lot! I left without my blazer, and he walked in just after I left. Amber showed it to him and it was wrapped up under the tree for me. If there's a better case for shopping small and shopping local, I'm not sure what it is. I don't think I've ever been more surprised or excited for an item of clothing. We are talking about a blazer that retails for $1600-still pristine- that was $200. I'll have it forever and it will always remind me that the universe is conspiring to make me happy (with apologies to Kurt Vonnegut). read more

Absolutely the worst place to go shopping. Rude owner, horrible quality, and overpriced clothing. Worst of the worst.

This is what would be an excellent locally owned L.A. style fashion boutique, except of course it's located in the Nichols Hills part of OKC Yes I know that technically Nichols is a separate entity from the OKC but to the outside visitor they kinda blend together. This is a smaller store beautifully laid out, with tasteful lighting and s strong focus on in season current fashion trends by indie/local/smaller designers. The stock overall is simple yet elegant. They quality tends to be a bit better then average-this may follow some fast fashion trends, but it's very well made. Not your sweatshop knockoffs. Lot's of pure denim and natural fibers. One my visit we were gearing up for summer, with the dresses and wraps here being....well, spectacular, with a good range of sizing. The staff, at least on my visit, were more then usually knowledgeable about the products, materials and wonder of wonders had a good eye for color. Sometimes when I'm out clothes shopping with my spouse we get some er, mixed advice on color selection. Not here, which was very pleasing. Pricing is on the mid to high side of things, although they do have a small sales rack with last season fashions in the back by the dressing rooms. Yes, I know I get to visit more women's shops then most folk of my age/status/gender get to, but there are lot of women in my family that I like to spend time with. Still when it's all said and done, this is an excellent women's boutique for summer or any other seasons clothing. read more

I'm not usually a boutique girl due to reasons of personal economy and the fact that I generally hate shopping. I'm so boutique shy, I didn't consider RSVPing yes for the Yelp Elite event held here once upon a time. I knew I couldn't afford anything, and I expected I would feel sad about that, so I just avoided the situation altogether. Woe.is.me. Somehow, nonetheless, I can't stay away from Rosegold. Here's how it started: I avoided Rosegold despite passing it a couple of times a week as I walked in to my tutoring appointments at All About Cha next door. One day, I noticed a sale inside, and not some lightweight 10% or 25% off sale; in order to make room for new seasonal pieces, items were marked down 50% and 75% (I think). There was even a $10 sales rack. Say what? And there you have it: gateway drugs to boutique shopping. I hesitated to write this review because I don't want you to steal the deal from the sale rack before I can get there, but sharing local love is what Yelp is all about, especially if we want these gems to stick around. I recommend Rosegold for the sales, but more importantly, for the service and the style of the pieces they carry. Every single thing I've purchased has added je ne sais quoi (call it confidence, if you prefer) to my wardrobe. I've received multiple compliments on everything purchased there because the pieces are so unique and flattering. Even better, the shopping is easy because it's a small store, so you aren't swimming through racks trying to figure out what you're really looking for. Chances are good you'll pick up a good handful of shirts or pants or jackets and hang out in the dressing room talking yourself *out* of purchasing too much. Fortunately, as you work through this inner monologue, the owner will help you along in the most supportive, friendly way. She'll help you think about how you could dress up or dress down that piece, and how best to adjust it to fit your frame. She'll do it with a smile, and make you feel you can pull it off, despite how worn down you might look or feel at the moment. Yep, shopping at Rosegold can lift me up, and suddenly I understand what retail therapy is on a personal level. Of course, Rosegold also has accessories, many of which are locally made. Recently, I fell in love with a turquoise painted pendant on a gold necklace. You'll find necklaces and bracelets and earrings and carefully chosen books and notebooks and candles, etc. A perfect stop if you're in a pinch to grab a gift for a lady friend. I am obsessed with this new local boutique. Everyone who works there is so friendly and very helpful in finding pieces that work for your body style and budget. They feature jewelry made by local artists and I have already collected several pieces from a few of them. They have a nice mix of different styles of clothing to fit any mood or occasion. I visit here every few weeks and always manage to find a few unique pieces to add to my wardrobe. They celebrated their one year anniversary recently and announced they are starting their own line! Stopped into Rosegold last week because I was intrigued by the name. I am a sucker for 1) rosegold anything and 2) shopping, and Rosegold doesn't disappoint. They have a nice (but not overwhelming) amount of items to choose from. The collection seems carefully curated and of good quality. The lady working there (not sure if she was the owner or not) was very nice and greeted me on arrival. They have nice hours too (930 - 7) for those of us who work during the day. My only drawback is it was a bit expensive for me for everyday things, but I could definitely see myself getting something unique here for a special occasion. read more

I had found the perfect pair and was so sad when they broke, but these ladies honored the 1-year warranty gladly. This boutique is absolutely stunning. I don't think that there was a single piece of clothing in the story that I wasn't drooling over. All of the pieces are high quality, and make great closet staples. There wasn't any piece in there that I didn't think would stand the test of time - in wearability and in style. Let me just start out by saying that this boutique has no reflection of the many other stores I've chosen to do business with in classen curve.....I was dress shopping for an event and decided to give this boutique a try. I was immediately approached by an older woman who simply didn't even know how to greet a potential buyer... no smile, stern look, flat affect, ect...who proceeded to ask me several questions immediately as I walked in the door, some of which I didn't know the answer to because I'm simply not familiar with some of the designer labels she was mentioning... but essentially she immediately gave me the feeling that I didn't belong in this store... I'm not sure if it was the tights and Tshirt I had on at the time that made her think I didn't belong there or because she saw me drive up in my white Ford car... irregardless it was one of the most unwelcoming places, with an extremely rude employee that I've ever encountered in my life! So because I had my niece with me and we had some time before our nail appt., I chose to be the bigger person, be respectful as always, not say anything inappropriate, and just browse a few minutes. As I was browsing through the racks, she constantly tried to spill knowledge my way about how much a certain dress costs which I was assuming she thought I couldn't afford, and even went as far to tell me as I was gently browsing through the racks that a dress wouldn't fit me before I even had the chance to check the size. I am a size 8-10... but for a retail employee to say " that won't fit you" in an ever so hateful way, before I even had a chance to look at the size, I was appalled and so was my 19 year old niece who accompanied me! We ultimately chose to leave, saying thank you as I always with no response... Let me start by saying people, please be kind, please realize you are not above anyone, and please be respectful to everyone you meet. Also, know your role! For someone to behave this way and choose to be a retail employee trying to make a sale... well let's just say this woman would never make it through the first day in the places I choose to spend my money... for her info, I am a medical professional with a graduate degree who happens to make 6 figures, cares for the rich or poor equally without question and just happened to finish a very long shift, take off my scrubs, jump into something comfortable, and meet my neice in OKC to shop and get our nails done together. I for one will never be back to this place and will certainly pass this experience on to all of my friends, family, and coworkers to spare anyone from this level of discrimination. read more

Rosegold is my new favorite place! I like that you can't find these brands at any other store in OKC. I would describe the styles as cool, casual, comfortable. I know that the items I have already snagged from here will never go out of style. And I will say again that everything I tried on was just so comfortable! COMFORTABLE!
