I first hired Cole to clear a large tree that uprooted across my driveway in a storm, trapping access out to the road. He cleared that tree quickly. After some discussion about ongoing erosion from storms, I then hired Cole's company to cut and clear three trees, and to design and build a large wooden retaining wall to hold back a five foot cliff along my uphill driveway. Cole designed and built a durable yet attractive wall, backfilled with gravel and drainage pipe. He brought in one or two additional workers as needed. Though Cole is not always an 8 to 5 worker, his design ideas show his knowledge, and he works hard when it's time to build. Since the wall was finished, Cole has done additional work with me, creating a terraced garden area on the hill above the wall. Overall work is extremely well done and was within anticipated budget. One comment more: I read one other review for this company and about Cole. Please note that it was written 20 years ago. Perhaps things have changed from whatever they might have been ten years ago. My experience was much the opposite of what that reviewer describes.
