Or you can go inside and one of the two employees can assist you with your basic postal needs. Either way, there's no wait or line of any sort, so you'll be in and out quick. I live a half mile around the corner from this location, so it's very convenient for me! They don't have everything (I didn't see any packaging materials or extra services -- but maybe I just didn't notice them), but it's nice when you're in a hurry and want to avoid the larger post offices, especially around the holidays.

I found the building to be clean, bright, and modern. Our friend was sworn in, then the meeting recessed to celebrate with cake and coffee. Talking with staff and trustees was pleasant as everyone seemed very friendly and excited to do the work of governing. Congratulations to our friend and the Village of Streamwood who is getting an excellent citizen as its newest trustee!

They kicked me out of the house and he didn't get in trouble at all for dragging me all over the house and putting his hands on me. I called 911 & Schaumburg Police Dept sent out a squad to help by sitting behind me and keeping a car from hitting me while we waited for a tow truck. They waited behind me until the tow truck had my car loaded on the flat bed truck and we were on our way. For all the shit you hear about the police most of them are there to serve & protect and do a great job. There are always going to be a few bad apples but probably 98% do there job. The officer said there was my color paint on her car even though my car had no paint loss. Officer Lewis said we were guilty and he would testify against me in court. As it turns out this woman coincidentally has a family member in a body shop that they have to get the work done there. We paid out of pocket to keep our insurance rates down. $1000 later we settled the claim Smells like a scam to me. But you can bet next time I'm in Bloomingdale if the car next to me has any marks I'm moving my car.

I frequent the USPS Roselle branch on a regular basis - several times a week, to be exact and 9 times out of 10, I don't have to wait in line. Service is quick, efficient, and hassle-free. I mean, you still have to deal with grumpy postal workers - that's pretty much universal wherever you go (but particularly so with the Schaumburg branch) - but to their credit, they are slightly less disgruntled than most other locations. Parking is plentiful, and there is a drop box for driver-throughs.

It keeps me from having to spend money on book/DVD/music entertainment and cluttering up my shelves with things I'll only use once or twice. Plus, the smell of books within a beautiful brick building really does something for me (man, if only my husband and I could have a romp in the stacks). So, a library that gives you a free book when you sign up for a card? SWEET! When I signed up for a card a few days after I moved here, I received a copy of "Rocket Boys" (the book that inspired 'October Sky') along with a brochure highlighting all the library events in October (and man, there's a ton of them!). This may be the first library where I've actually paid attention to the free events they offer. And they gave me a book I'd actually be interested in reading at some point. Major props for that. Roselle's library is a bit on the small side, with a smaller selection than I'm used to, but at least they have the basics -- books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, whatnot -- and a nice youth section upstairs. All the people that work here are very personable and made me feel right at home. This is the perfect library for a sweet little town.
