He remembered my case specifically, we went through the documentation I had compiled on each reimbursable item line by line - he was very patient as well as thorough, asking great questions to make sure the case for reimbursement was extremely clear. We finished our call and from then on, Ronnie handled it promptly with USAA. 3 weeks after I had first reached out about this second phase of reimbursement, I received a statement with an additional ~25% or so from USAA, on top of the original payment amount. The way Ronnie handled the original process was strong - I recall him not even being sure if my case was sizable enough for his practice, and he seemed to actually care - but his responsiveness and continued assistance more than a year after the original incident has really impressed me. Under Rule 11 of the Rules of Civil Procedure (and related ethical guidelines), an attorney is required to perform a "reasonable inquiry under the circumstances" to ensure that factual contentions have evidentiary support. Allen Farshi has formally admitted in writing that they have waived this duty. By filing or threatening to file claims that they have openly refused to verify, the attorney is: Knowingly advancing claims that may lack any factual basis. Failing their duty as an officer of the court to ensure the integrity of legal proceedings. Subjecting me to unnecessary legal harassment and costs based on unverified allegations. When hiring an attorney always check reviews through different sites , don't pay anything on spot unless you confirmed with some clients the positive experiences . If what they offer you in initial meeting isn't being promised within the first 30 days. stop payments- don't dig your hole deeper . If paralegal quits in the middle of your RFO filing be "concerned". Reach out to paralegal and ask why? Save your payments and immediately seek different representation. Only speaking from my experience - there is no professionalism, no organization , won't send you bills when you request them, but payment is expected on the day off . Yes Everyone lives and learn , but I know how attorney fees can truly drain you , so be very wise. Listen to your Gut Feeling always . Unethical Conduct-Willfully disregarded my interest as his client by speaking badly about me to the opposing party (I heard a copy of the phone call). 2. Legal misconduct 3. Lacks experience. Lux lied about having experience in Edelman Court. Which is childrens court. All attorneys helping me in seeking action against Lux, have shown and informed me that not just any attorney is able to practice in childrens court. As an "attorney" Lux should not have taken my case, as well as spoken to all people involved which he intentionally did to add up non stop charges, that have been cleared to not legally be substantiated. 4. Overcharged and double charged several times for things that were not approved or within right to do, as well as things I had already taken care of and informed him I had done. 5. Broke attorney/client privilege discussing my case with third parties I did not approve of telling them details that I did not approve of. 6. Sexual Harassment- Being involved in my legal case for years, and having come across some very corrupt situations, I always am sure to get evidence such as recordings. Thank goodness for technology. On more than one of our calls Lux was inappropriate taking from the attorney/client relationship. It made me extremely uncomfortable, and not want to deal with him anymore. I fired asked he immediately stop any work he was doing as to not add up anymore charges, then followed up with firing him. 7. Retaliation and harassment -Upon firing Lux and being contacted by my new attorney to substitute in, Lux retaliated and has since been harassing me. I am confident after this review he will retaliate more. Stay tuned. 8. Commingled funds-Didn't keep my money as a client in a separate trust account. There is so much more. Thank goodness we have gotten in touch with past clients of Lux who have had similar experiences. We are moving forward accordingly so that hopefully no other people experience what we have. Our attorney, Alicia, took 4 years to obtain a settlement from the insurance company and settle the medical bills. We called on a monthly basis to get a status update of our case during the second half of the second year of contract. We were only able to reach the front desk and were told that someone will reach back out. We gave up after a few months. At the end of the fourth year on contract, we finally received the net settlement. I truly believe they know what they're doing, but just do not have the time to give status updates to their clients unless your case's potential payout is substantial.
