I went in for a deep cleaning today with my new Hygenist Denise. Let me tell you she is amazing!!!!!! I have been a patient at Dr. Rosenbaum and Associates for roughly 20 years, which makes it disappointing to write this review, but the practice has changed dramatically and not for the better. Over two decades, I have seen more than 10 different dentists come and go. That level of turnover alone suggests there are internal culture issues. About 10 years ago, one dentist told me I had decay visible on an X-ray and recommended a crown. I agreed. After grinding my tooth down to a nub, he said to the assistant, "Huh, there is no decay." That procedure still cost me around $600 out of pocket even with insurance. I filed a formal complaint with the office manager at the time. That manager is no longer there either. In the past couple of years, the entire staff has been replaced. My longtime hygienist left, and I was assigned a new one. She was very young but polite and did a decent job. I would rate her about a 7.5 out of 10. The issue is not the individual staff members. It is the overall experience and direction of the practice. This office used to feel welcoming. Everyone knew my name, and I knew theirs. It felt personal. Now it feels like a corporate assembly line. Even the patient volume seems to reflect this change. Years ago, parking was difficult to find and the waiting room was full. Now there are plenty of open parking spaces and far fewer patients waiting. At every visit, they now require you to complete a full medical history on an iPad, even if you have been a patient for decades and nothing has changed. I found this intrusive and asked if I could opt out and simply notify them of any changes, especially since I was only there for X-rays and a routine cleaning. The staff member handing me the iPad rolled her eyes and walked away. Another staff member later told me they would not see me unless I completed it and claimed this was required by federal HIPAA law. After researching this myself, I learned this is their internal policy, not a legal requirement. In other words, I was misinformed. I would have absolutely disclosed any relevant health changes, particularly anything that could affect anesthesia, even though no anesthesia was being used that day. The interaction felt unnecessary, cold, and dismissive. After that visit, I canceled my next appointment and booked with a new dentist closer to my home. I am genuinely looking forward to a fresh start. It is unfortunate to walk away after 20 years, but this practice no longer feels like the place it once was. read more

I took my mom to this practice yesterday for a tooth extraction. The dentist was kind and gentle. He only gave her ibuprofen for the pain, her B/P was up and she was nauseous. Ibuprofen is known to cause or exacerbate these symptoms. I was taken back because she was nauseous and when we asked for a basin or emesis bowl they gave her a trashcan that was being used for trash. read more

LOVE Dr. Tsighe! Look a chance on this office after going across the street (Modesto modern dentistry) and not liking the service there. They got me in for a cleaning and X-rays asap and then went forward with treatment plan. I have been there about 5 times now and each time is a dream. They are always very attentive to concerns( I have a lot) and are very careful that you are comfortable. I'm new to Modesto and needed an emergency appointment for a toothache. I generally avoid dental offices and appointments because they give me anxiety... However, Dr. Tsighe is amazing. She was very calming and accommodating during my most recent appointments. I just got some fillings done and she took her time (didn't rush me) and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I was comfortable and that I was ok. The dental assistant (didn't get her name) was also very reassuring throughout. I can't thank them enough for their care and patience. My wisdom teeth decided to become very uncomfortable just a few days before a big move across the country. I called this office after finding it on my list of providers...they could see me in 25 minutes because of a cancellation. I got there and explained my predicament. I have been to Rosenbaum and Associates for two years.. Doctor mologan was rude to me and didn't offer me any relief for my gum infection and wanted to pull all my teeth out.. I left the office crying My Husband took me to a Dentist in Ceres and In two weeks I got laser gum treatment two root canels and a new front bridge.. And really clean white teeth again . All the money I spent at Rosenbaum last two years cost me pain and agony. All they did was exams and referrals.. and xrays since I switched dentists Am smiling again...
