I agree with most of the negative reviews here. I wouldn't trust this dentist with even a simple cleaning. Tons of unnecessary x-rays and then she tried to tell me I had cavities in places I know i don't . I had just had my braces taken off and just needed a simple teeth cleaning which my insurance pays for two a year, but oh my cleaning had to be a special deep cleaning which would cost me several hundreds of dollars more out of my own pocket. I guess they are banking on people being stupid. I declined, not because of the money. Mostly because I just didn't trust her, and I don't think she's honest. I really hate going to the dentist. Maybe because my mom showed me the horror film The Dentist at a young age. This place is amazing. I was about to just let all my teeth fall out before I would ever go to any dentist ever again. This place puts me at ease . I am glad I found this place. Without a doubt, Comfort Dental Care is the nicest dental office with the friendliest staff I've encountered in my life. The lobby is very welcoming, decked out with modern furniture, free Keurig coffee and even Netflix! My appointment started on time and when I got in the room, there was more Netflix! The hygienist was thorough and took the time to listen to any concerns I had. Same for the dentist. Turns out, it's not even in my dental insurance network, but they were so appreciative of my business, they waived the initial consult costs. And the swag bag you leave with us pretty incredible too. March 11, 2021 I Finally got a hold of the dentist office I was asked to fill out consent forms I asked for a copy so I could read those consent forms first the consent forms were only 90 % completed I asked for clear completed consent forms the clerk would only allow me to log on to a computer where there was clearly something going on in the office no privacy policy here I filled out consent forms the last time I came in. I was being rushed in so I wouldn't ask questions about the forms clearly they wasted my time March 15,2021 I asked for copies of the consent forms and questionnaire so I could read and possibly show them to my insurance provider and reschedule my cleaning fast forward to today they feel I should find another provider because there is a trust issue if I need to request copies for this purpose read more

Did a great job working with my 12 yr old. She has had a lot of dental issues and we had run into a wall about a procedure dentists normally won't do on children. They were very comforting and figured out a way to get the job done. I appreciated how they worked with me as the parent and my daughter felt at ease with them. My guess on that is they were great about listening to her and responding to her very respectfully. Dental stuff is never fun, but I was very happy with how they helped us from start to finish. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I had my first appointment today after not being to the dentist in 15 years! I had made 4 other appointments at different dental offices in the area over the last 2 months and a day or 2 before the appointment I would literally call and cancel. I just couldn't do it. I decided that I was going to make myself go to this one no matter what. I'm so glad I did! EVERYONE, from the front desk to the actual dentist, were incredibly kind and patient with me. A seriously wonderful group of ladies. I have some major work to be done, but I feel like I'm going to be in good hands with this team. At first I was thrown off by the fact that everyone was at lunch when I showed up, and also, I felt like their bill wasn't exactly explained to me, but after we got started with my X-rays and cleaning, I fell in love with Madeline (I believe that was her name) She was super informative, and professional. I went to Comfort dental care because my crown came off. I just wanted to have the crown replaced but the dentist said the only choice I have is to pull the tooth and recommend an implant. But I agreed because they are the professionals. Anyway, the doctor said I needed a root canal on another tooth on the other side but they had send me to a different dentist because they don't have a specialist to perform the root canal. So I went to the specialist they recommended and the dentist said I don't need a root canal. It was a waste of my time and they still charged me $58 for nothing. I will not be going back and looking for a new dentist. read more

I loooooove Dr. Chahal and her staff!!! They treat you like family! I went from Dale Family to Comfort dental in hopes of better care for me and my families smiles. The place is nice and very clean. The secretaries are bilingual, so if you have a Spanish speaking Mama and Pa like me, this is the place to go. Financial stuff: After assessing the damage of previous work: They not only took pictures to show where my teeth were doomed, but also set out the financial analysis in a very understandable format. They accept so many insurance programs. The care: -Netflix or TV? -Hanger for your purse. - Shade glasses so you're not blinded by the light when they have to see your teeth - comfy chairs, nice bathroom for when you have to go in the middle of something and they don't get mad at all. - The fun conversations with the staff - Appointments go flawlessly (they remind you of your appointment!) -No crying, I kid you not. They make it virtually painless, and they make sure. - ***story: I had a root canal, tooth went grey, they needed to replace it, gave me a temporary crown, crown fell off and on the same day Dr. Chahal came to her office to glue it back on. I was about to go toothless for my first concert. She saved the day. - I have a really really nice smile now, and I'm no longer insecure about my two front teeth thanks to them. Love this location. Great clean office and extra friendly staff. Took my 5 year old son here and they were so quick and talked to him and made it easy for him to just get in and done. Anyone with a 5 year old knows the dentist is a mission, they made it fun and stress free. At my first visit, I asked for my portion of the bill before any services commenced. They gave me an amount, I agreed to the work, & then they said "oops!" there was a "miscalculation" and they needed HUNDREDS in additional fees!! (A common trick). I knew what they quoted me and now AFTER the work was done, it's magically DIFFERENT. During a cavity filling, the dentist messed up and the filling was curved instead of being closely flush against the tooth. Every time that I chewed, food would get stuck in the "U-shaped" filling. I went back and was charged for multiple X-rays so that she could "examine" the mistake. I lost count of the times they said "we need just one more" x-ray! (I could practically HEAR the sound of my insurance bill going up every time they eagerly added another X-ray to the chart for this one lone tooth). Multiple X-rays later, the fililng was re-worked. More x-rays followed (to make sure it was done correctly). After the feeling returned to my gums, I immediately noticed that the filling was not correct and called in. I was reluctant to return and the ONLY reason that I did was because she was in my insurance provider network. She sent me to a specialist (which cost me $hundreds!!!) because of the complaint of pain in the area where she had done the filling. The specialist told me that there was absolutely no nerve damage whatsoever and that the cavity in question was simply not filled properly so that it left a large gap in between the teeth and food was getting lodged within it and irritating the gum. A 3rd procedure would need to occur to fix it. (Of course, this means more billing for the insurance company and more co-pays & deductible payments for me). Prior to this, my husband also went here for ONE visit. His assessment was that her skillset and expertise were considerably lacking. He REFUSED to go back and advised me not to as well. I stayed in pain, and like every other mom, I put myself last on the list of things to do. The pain eventually became unbearable. I made an appt, explained that I needed a cleaning & a filling replacement. I even took time off of work. I get there, fill out all of the forms, give them insurance info, etc. The dentist says she checked the area and it looks fine and she isn't going to clean my teeth or do anything at all to help with the pain I'm having. Both I and her assistant were incredulous. When I mess up at MY job, I don't have the luxury of saying I'm just not going to try to fix it. I took time off of work and was in pain. She essentially said too damn bad. Her staff was embarrassed & apologized to me. I felt so sorry for them. She essentially didn't like the fact that I told her that it was done wrong and she let a bruised ego get in the way of professional conduct. She let me take time off of work, had me fill out new insurance paperwork, took 4 or 5 x-rays, and then refused to fix it or even provide a standard routine cleaning. My experience is that they play games with the billing and rack up your bill with miscellaneous services (unnecessary work/X-rays). I found the dentist to be incredibly unprofessional (almost shockingly so) with a less than average level of skill, competency, and expertise. If you voice any concern about the quality of the work, be prepared for her to purposefully allow you to just stay in pain as well because, in my humble opinion, she puts her ego WELL before the need of the patient. And I wouldn't be surprised if she took a few x-rays first & billed your insurance extra for it! On a scale of 1-5? Zero. Or less. read more

Dr. Chahal is an amazing dentist and runs a professional practice. My first visit with her was thorough and she took time to explain the details of my exam. I asked a lot of questions about my oral health that she not only answered but also put me at ease. During my follow-up cleaning, I was greeted by Dr. Chahal and staff; I was also offered a drink. My hygienist was friendly and explained what I should expect. Because I was a bit nervous, I asked if I could listen to a book on my phone during the cleaning. She not only allowed me but made sure to communicate with me to ensure the cleaning went smoothly.
