The director from the school made an appointment and informed me that the clinic wanted the copay at the time of service. I contacted the clinic and they couldn't tell me what the copay was! My daughter and the director had plans for a 6 hour round trip the next day that I had to cancel. A day later I was informed of the copay and approved. The next day the clinic called to tell me that since my daughter is a minor (17) I MUST be present to sign the authorization papers for the doctor to proceed. I tried to explain that I am 5 states away and disabled but it fell on deaf ears. I suggested electronic authorization that I've done before and that wasn't acceptable either. We're going elsewhere, I guess our money isn't good enough here.

So yesterday my 3 year old had to have a tooth removed from this place (before I had to pay $250…read moredown) my 3 year old was forced to hold still while they attempted to Gas her with the laughing gas which didn't work on her so then Dr Martin and his staff proceeded to man handle my daughter to stick a four inch needle in her gums twice. She came out with hickey marks on her face, red marks all over her body on every single part of her body including bruising on her face and arms. I am filing a complaint Monday and I hope hat NOBODY every takes a child to this place. It was the most horrible thing I've ever seen especially for my child to go through. I also told this man to stop numerous times but that didn't matter. I had to physically put my hands on his hands to take them off of holding my daughters face down by her temples. Please don't ever go to this guy if you don't want your child to be ruined by the doctor or dentist.

Everyone is always very nice and they go out of their way to make your feel comfortable. Helpful and knowledgeable. I had been experiencing an ache in my lower right jaw for some time, and was told by my dentist…read morethat he suspected that I was experiencing referred pain from a possible infection under my lower right canine tooth that had been subject to a root canal years ago in another state. I dreaded getting what's called a "re-treatment" of that root canal. So I spent a lot of time researching endodontists in town. I actually did a consultation with someone my dentist recommended, but he was so cavalier when I asked what if the tooth breaks during te-treatment ("Oh that could happen, we'll just do a crown!" while waving his hand and rolling his chair away), that I got alarmed. (Guess that first endodontist didn't care about saving my tooth, maybe more interested in getting a new boat instead! At least, that is how it felt...). So back to research I went. And I found Dr. Terry Turner. I had my root canal retreatment on Wednesday, 48 hours ago, and he is amazing!!! The numbing went well (and I am a pain wimp), and he explained every step as he went so I would know what to expect and what he was doing. I deeply appreciate his attention to detail, to me as his patient, and to his work. The procedure went quickly and perfectly, and I have needed only ibuprofen for the slight amount of pain after even though he gave me a prescription for percocet in case I needed it. I have a follow up in a few weeks--he wants to ensure the infection clears up before placing the permanent filling (something I strongly suspect the original endodontist failed to do). Dt. Turner is highly skilled, easy to talk to, very smart, and very caring. I highly recommend him and his staff.

He explained everything to me in full detail before we began which I appreciate. The staff is very friendly, called to check up on me multiple times after the procedure. I will be back for sure. Hands down best dentist in this area.

I asked why it was so expensive? She said it was because I had used up most of my insurance and I only had a balance of $1,300. I explained there is no correlation between the balance of my insurance and the fee for their services - it's absurd. The going rate for a root canal is around a $1,000. Yet, they want almost twice that amount. Go somewhere else, that's what I did. See attached Google search root canal cost.
