She was treated by RNP Russ Dufresne, who is an asset to both this center and the medical profession as a whole. I'm a first responder and I've never witnessed such thorough treatment in action. In the end, they just write you a subscription for generic Tylenol that costs more than the over-the-counter brand name and tell you to see your PCP. And of course, they won't accept any out-of-state insurance or any insurance not on a short list of insurance networks. Which is probably why I later got a bill for X-rays neither taken or agreed to. They were probably trying to commit insurance fraud but since I don't have insurance and I know for a fact that I didn't have X-rays taken or agreed to be taken, they're out of luck. But don't even try to contact someone in billing for information about the phony bill. They won't answer the phone or emails sent to the email address listed on the bill.

When I talk to other people they seem to think all of this is normal, but it's not what I've been used to. First of all, the office waiting area as well as the building is a little run down. It would be nice to have an office that makes you feel fresh, even if you're not feeling fresh yourself. The first time I met with Dr. Dorris, she was nice, but she came into the room with an agenda. After I left and went to pick up my medication, I found out that she has prescribed another vitamin that she did not tell me about. This is the same vitamin that she asked about as soon as she walked into the room, before she even got to know me, so I feel like she filed the prescription before she even met with me. I actually already take this vitamin, as I told her, so there was no need to get a prescription for it. Each time since then I have had to wait a considerable amount of time both in the waiting room and then again in the room. Once when I was 5 minutes late, they almost scolded me for it, but with the waiting experience I have had there before, I haven't seen the need to be on time only to wait there. For the last time, it took an hour just to have a med check - something that should've taken less than 15 minutes.

The front office staff is very pleasant and the medical assistants are also very good. Dr Rosenberg works with a physician assistant as well as other doctors at this practice. I think he is not taking any new patients anymore, but the other doctors might. This is a convenient location near Garden City in Cranston and not far from the highway.
