It flabbergast me that the treating Doctor Who is certified as an ophthalmologist, keeps referring out for other opinions. Since he is the doctor that did my surgery, you would think he would make every effort to correct the problem. The quality of care is poor.

She called me at home that night to see how I was feeling. A few days later I had a pressure issue behind my eye. She called me multiple times and offered to go back to her office after hours but I was OK by then. She went above and beyond any doctor has done for me. In the medical field, with no empathy (as it is visually obvious my husband is in a lot of pain and in need of some help) or decency, wow. If I were this surgeon, I'd re-evaluate my front desk team. I will simply say this, everything went as well as one could have hoped. My vision is amazing, my eyes feel amazing, the level of care- Amazing. Both pre and post surgery. I ended up with 20/10 vision and I swear colors are more vibrant. I feel like telling the world. At 33, I didn't know what to expect as a result. Maybe 20/20 at best but I never imagined it to be this good! Keep in mind that the first week after surgery is the worst of it, and for me that was only a few days of slight to moderate discomfort. Nothing extreme. Only on my 2nd night through 4th nights did I have some times where I would wake up and need some more Keterolac and eye drops.
