Open during hours I get to around my work schedule, and 2.) Able to take a shirt in a couple of sizes with making it look weird. And that, somehow, led me here. I found the E-Z Dryclean Center online, and the hours listed were late enough - until 6:30pm - that I could make after work. And when I called, the owner sounded like he would've been willing to wait for me if I couldn't make it in time. Between that and the handful of good reviews I saw, I decided to give it a shot. Hot diggity. First, his technique. Every other alterations place I have been pins things and/or uses chalk lines to outline the work to be done, but not here! He took several measurements the tape measure and that was it. Can't argue with the results though. When I first tried on my altered shirts, they were very well-fitted; too fitted, actually. See, they would've been perfect for leisure, but I actually like my office shirts to have more relaxed fit. When I pointed this out he readily agreed to fix it. Other than the miscommunication about the fit, everything was great. The owner was friendly and did fast work. The store was a bit messy, but that's because he's in the middle of expanding the place. I know he's hoping that he'll need the extra room, because he mentioned that business was been slow due to the pandemic. #AsianOwned, cash or Cash App only, will be patronizing again.

Unfortunately, when I picked up my clothes, many of the shirts and blazers were still noticeably wrinkled, and my pants had creases despite my request for them to be crease-free. The owner acknowledged that some of the shirts were too wrinkled and offered a discount, which I appreciated. However, I later discovered additional wrinkled shirts and a blazer that had been improperly hemmed, leaving part of the garment unfinished. This prevented me from wearing the blazer when I had originally planned to wear it to work. When I attempted to address the issue, I was unable to reach the manager, and my interaction with the owner was frustrating. I was essentially told that these types of mistakes happen and that I would have to leave the blazer for another week while it was sent to another location. I appreciate that a discount was ultimately provided, but the overall experience was inconvenient and disappointing. For a first-time customer paying a significant amount for professional cleaning and pressing, I expected much greater attention to detail and customer service. Ok, before we start, I'd like to say that I'm no dry-cleaning connoisseur, so you can take my…read morereview as a grain of salt. Anyway, the location is convenient, depending on where you're coming from. There exists only about 4 parking spots right in front of the store next to an auto shop. A little place that's full of clothing racks. The only spot you had to move was by the door and the cashier's desk. So, I dropped of my friend's graduation gown that I borrowed and a dress made of polyester, cotton, and spandex (could've been machine washed, but I didn't want to ruin it), and it was ready about 4-5 days later. The gown cost $10 and the dress cost $9.50 to dry-clean. The price took me by surprise because I got 9 items of apparel dry cleaned at less than $4 each in Baton Rouge at Tiger Tailoring (Lee Drive). I don't know if it has anything to do with the quality of the work because none of the clothes I brought in had stains in. No way to tell, but I'm sure if I had a big fat impossible stain on something, I could write a better review. Now, on to the hangers. One of my pet peeves is having wire hangers. I brought my clothes in on my own plastic hangers so that I wouldn't get wire hangers back. I hate how they screech across the rod! However, I didn't notice this until I actually hung up my clothes in my closet T_T; It's laughable that I'm making a deal out of this hanger thing, but seriously, I want my plastic hangers back lol. I'm guessing that's why their service is a little pricey (compared to other places I've been to). Just kidding!! At least the guy who helped me was very nice and told me to have a good day.
