She was supposed to replace the button on a pair of my capris and I ended up with what was almost a shirt button that pops out if I dare to do something as dramatic as breathe. The lady who does alterations here is very old and can barely bend down..i feel bad but I should have ran out the moment she couldn't bend down to make measurements to hem my dress. The above review is correct, she failed to sow in a straight line and now a day before prom I am having to make last minute emergency sewing to save my dress. Not to mention the fact that she didn't do the alterations I specifically asked for; hem my dress with NO tail..she left a tail that rolled up at the end. Don't waste your time people! read more

I recently moved here from Dallas and needed quality alterations. Gave one star for her being a nice little old lady. But, if you're used to high quality work this is not the place. Ruined my expensive pair of jeans. Said she could do an original hem and didnt know how. Just cut them off and did a regular hem. Also ruined two pair of pants. Needed them shortend with cuffs. Work was not good. Stiching was not straight and material was bunched up. Also left crease in middle of cuffs. Said she couldnt get them out and told me to take them to the cleaners to get them out. She should have just left them alone and called me first to see what I wanted to do instead of doing the work anyway and fugging up over $250 worth of pants and jeans. Jeans were a total loss. Took the pants to Desy's and she was able to repair them. Go to Delia or Desy if you want high quality work in Yuma. read more

Rose is just the best. !!!!! I have always needed my clothes altered because I am so short. She does it right the first time. I moved here from Phoenix, and thought oh my goodness how am I going to find anyone here, I couldn't even find a good alterations store in Phoenix.? Save your clothes! Do not bring them here! The previous reviewer is 100% correct. I had a dress and a set of pajamas hemmed, was charged $18 for an entirely unprofessional job. I should have hemmed them myself on my home machine. Heaven help the Marines that are having their uniforms altered here. I can only imagine what they walk out with. The thread tension is all wrong, wrong foot, skipped stitches, can't sew in a straight line. Even a novice seamstress can tell there is something wrong. My PJs are too short and have wrinkles sewn into the fabric. My dress hem is wavy because the thread tension is so jacked up. I figured if the previous reviewer tried three times and never got the job done right, I might as well take it home myself to fix. Unfortunately I saw the bad review too late, when I was searching online for the phone number to check if my things were ready. Also, when I dropped my clothes off to be hemmed the lady told me she couldn't bend down to pin my pj pants leg up because "her hip hurt too bad." So please, please, please learn from our mistakes and do not bring your clothes to this shop. read more
