Whatever was used on the carpets made my feet on fire! I scrubed them , lotion them with no relief. The chemicals literally burned my feet!. I had to apply persription medicine on them to get the burning raw feeling to stop so I could sleep. TODAY....Semper FI's crew showed up on time, read the labels on the back of the carpets to determine how they should be cleaned, measured the carpets, explained how each carpet should be cleaned and then presented their quote. The process put me at ease knowing I had professionals about to clean my carpets. The carpets look amazing feel like they should and will be dry in less than an hour and very soft to walk on. I called the owner the minute they walked out to thank him for saving our carpets and me! He laughed and made me feel at ease and just retreated for urine and cleaned it right there. The best part of using this company was the carpets looked like a fresh new version of the carpet that we started with. When we moved in, remember I said the carpets had a horrible smell in the house (part one of my review)? NOT THIS TIME. I was so not a believer that his method would eliminate the smell. I was sure we were going to have to remove these bedroom carpets and start with new carpets. NOPE. They look amazing. I am so impressed. Now the price. .....so many people call for prices and when they hear the price, they are scared away. ServiceMaster arrived within the hour and assured us they would take care of everything. We stayed in a motel while dehumidifiers were set up throughout the house the next day. We rented a U-Haul storage unit, and by the end of the week, all salvageable items were safely moved into storage. The process involved both demolition and remodeling, and we were very pleased with how both were handled. ServiceMaster gave us an iCloud link to monitor progress remotely through photos. This allowed us to ask questions and stay involved even from a distance. While our insurance company assigned an adjuster, parts of the payment process were outsourced to a third party. Coordinating between the adjuster, vendors, trash removal, utilities, and the third-party system could have been overwhelming, but the ServiceMaster office staff made it much easier with their hands-on approach. In the beginning, the fear of loss was overwhelming--but like a seven-headed hydra, other challenges quickly followed. Kellie was especially helpful, guiding us clearly through "First Steps," "Next Steps," and "Final Steps," making a stressful situation much more manageable.
