Heres our timeline: 7:05 leave practice and check in online 7:24 arrival at Sutter Urgent Care 7:30 taken to a room 7:50 sent next door for X-rays 8:05 done with X-rays and pulling out of parking lot I PROMISE this was sooo fast We did not get x-ray results until the next day, but the physician was upfront about that. The front desk staff was super kind with the proximity to our home the ease of check-in, appointment availability. I couldn't be more thrilled! By the way, my boy is 100% fine. So glad I took him in just to be safe and I'm sure when that deductible comes in the mail. I'll be rethinking it but for now I'm a happy mama.

The intake personnel all seem tired, curt, beaten down by constant stress. No one smiles, none want to talk beyond the required information gathering. Triage into the medical side was somewhat better. The nursing assistants, Emergency department techs were more engaged. I did not see a Registered Nurse. Everyone was efficient, getting the job done with minimal fuss. The doctor saw me after a 15 minute wait. For an emergency department that is record fast time. He was cheerful, competent, helpful and was willing to have a converstion rather than dictate orders. We cooperatively agreed on a care plan. (It helped that I have a Master's degree in Public Health). My total time for the visit was 90 minutes. Got the medications I needed. 36 hours later I am starting to recover, though I still feel kind'a crappy (Pun intended).

They only care about the money they can make off of your poor health, they have no interest in actually helping anyone. Beware! I was told to "wait and see" instead of getting help for a condition I've been suffering with. When I insisted on them helping me by providing a simple prescription to help me clear up my condition, they maliciously prescribed incorrect medicine. The only effective pain killer I can take (no NSAIDS) and the lowest dose and STILL they, WELLSPACE INCOMPETANTS, can't get me my prescription.
