Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing and disheartening. During my visit, I was quoted an incorrect rental rate that was significantly higher than the actual cost. It's hard not to see this as an attempt to discourage my application. These behaviors often reflect lateral oppression, where members of our own communities perpetuate discriminatory practices against one another. Lateral oppression is rooted in systemic inequities, but we can and must do better. Discrimination in any form--especially in fair housing--is unacceptable, and I call on property management at M Station and beyond to address these behaviors, train their teams, and commit to change. As people of color, we deserve transparency, respect, and equal opportunities. If we want stronger, thriving communities, we need to start by holding each other accountable and creating equitable spaces for all.

I had to renew for an additional 3 months but prior to renewal I received a notice to renew or vacate, I chose to renew. I am now moving out in 10 days when my lease in up and I did not receive a notice so I I contacted them about the prorated amount and they told me I am responsible for 60 days of rent because I did not turn in a notice. That's $3400 in rent for a 1 bedroach infested apartment with no working printers and a terrible delivery system for packages. My packages have often gone missing. The previous manager was excellent and is no longer there. What a JOKE. Run from this place. Thieves who allow their tenants to live with roaches. They clearly don't care about their tenants as it's become mostly section 8, shame on Greystar for treating your tenants this way. I never had a single roach the first year that I lived here and now the entire property has roaches and bugs. The leasing office doesn't attempt to correct the issue. I advised Colleen of the roaches and she agreed that others on the floor shared the same complaint. Nothing was done. However I was offered a smaller apartment but for a higher rent than I pay now. Why would I agree to pay more for a smaller unit for an issue that isn't being cause by me? Absolutely not. My apartment has never had bugs or roaches and now I have had roaches in my kitchen, in my sink, in my dish washer, in my shower, on my stove, and I even had one fall from the air vent above my bed onto my chest. I'm supposed to be on the pest control list and yet they haven't came in 3 weeks. The spray doesn't stop the roaches either. First I was advised it was from the trash Shute and that they corrected it by "re-sealing" the cracks. Then they blamed it on the residents. I asked to have my unit bombed and they advised they couldn't do that. There are roaches in the parking garage, hallway, trash shute, elevator, you name it. There's over flowing trash constantly, the third floor ALWAYS smells like garbage, dog poop in the hallway in front of the elevators. Run as fast and you can and look into living somewhere else.
