Our teenage sons car was stolen from our driveway on October 2nd. He didnt have insurance yet, as…read moreit was not ready for the road yet. He had an appointment scheduled for inspection the following day. He was called at 4:42 pm on October 4th by OPP stating that his car had been found in Owen Sound and they told him that it will be towed to Penn Automotive. Our son immediately called us and we told him under no circumstances is it to go to Penn because they have been known to be dishonest business people and gauging inoccent consumers when they are most vulnerable. He tried to call back with these instructions, and to tell them that he has CAA but was unsuccessful. I immediately called OPP myself repeatedly at 4:50-5:00 pm and could not get through. I then called Penn Automotive directly and was very clear in telling them that they are not to pick up his car. My husband also called and told them the same. We had been given 2- other quotes for $150.00+tax up to $200.00. Plus we have CAA. so he would not have had to pay a thing, had they called the closest tow company in Owen Sound instead of calling one that was 45 km return trip. I called Penn Automotive at 8:am the following morning and asked for my sons invoice to be emailed to me so I could pay it. I knew that we had to get the car out of there as soon as possible before they tacked on more daily impound fees. That is why their yard is so full of cars! The bills are so high, that some people just simply walk away and leave their cars. Their bill is worth more than their car. They never sent me the invoice I asked for. I emailed twice, called twice. I then contacted my son at work and he went there directly to pay this bill so they would release his car to be towed back home by another company.The bill was 1070.00. They reduced it!

Randy's fixed my vehicle in a short amount of time and only charged me for what he worked on and also warned me of potential problems with my vehicle. He even did little extra and fixed a small noise I had in my muffler free of charge. I would highly recommend him In this area. Nothing worse than going to a shop and getting ripped off, but Randy's defiantly was not that experience for me!

Very impressive service. The bays are extremely clean…read more Safety was number one for the employees. They opened my spring loaded hood but used a prop for back up. This insured no broken fingers in case of failure. After checking the headlights signals etc I was asked to place the keys on the dashboard. This means no sudden lurching of the car creating crushed fingers or knees. On my style of car they sucked the oil from the engine through the dipstick tube. This was the first time I have seen this done. They inflated all tires to proper specifications with a gentle report of low pressure. My bad! The cabin filter was checked and was embarrassingly dirty. There were four individuals crawling over my car like NASCAR pit crew. I will return to this location.

We were unable to change the tire at this location so Devin professionally and carefully proceeded to load our vehicle on the flat bed truck. He was very pleasant and courteous and provided us with what we would call White Glove Service. He safely delivered us and our Porsche to our home in Port Elgin. So he pops off the fuse box cover presses the fuel rest button in behind and gets the booster pack because the battery ran down from trying to start I jump In truck he says give it a shot BAM starts right up woohoo THANKS JOE AMD THANKS OWEN SOUND TOWING for keeping my wallet in my pocket this wknd you guys are the BEST!!!!

So hoped that I would be checking in today to experience what their marketing talks about…read more Unfortunately we wont get to experince their butter tarts. Not sure how to best discribe my disappointment with Hanover Dodge. I have reviewed their web page as well as their reviews. Slept on my even writing a review. But when I received a follow up email from Zack today, then spoke to my wife about how I felt, it left me no choice but to take a moment and write a comme t of my experince. When I read their website slogan I have to wonder what it means, "Does Better" and then think not for me. As a long time Dodge Buyer now for 40 years when I purchased my first new car as a 1988 Dodge Shadow, to buying Longhorns, Hellcats, Redeyes, Ram Rebels ect, I have never felt this disappointed by a factory dodge dealer. I spoke to Zack via web portal and Email on trading my 2022 Ram Rebel for a 2023 Ram used that they had advertised. And the process started as I drove from Halifax Nova Scotia to Ontario to look at some trucks. As I traveled I emailed Zack. I received a Sales Qoute on my trade agaisnt their 2023. I replied it was lower then what I expected and I was offered more by 2 other dealers, but would love to come see the truck and discuss it some more. As I was already now in Quebec I put other deals pending on hold as I felt the truck Hanover had was possibly the one. Then I received a email from Zack saying that the deal he sent wasnt going to be approved by the manager and even if it was he couldnt have the truck inspected by this weekend. Imagine my dismay. Here I am 2 hours away from Hanover Dodge and now being told the deal I had in writing wasnt a deal at all. My trade was now 2k lower valued and the truck was unavailble at this time. While I seem to believe the dealer for the most part has good reviews, I am baffled how such a well reviewed dealer would drop a deal and a customer this easy. If you plan to buy from them be sure your there and the managers signiture is on any paperwork or offer. As if it isnt, it wont be qorth even the paper its written on. I guess there is no Home made butter tarts in my future. Not sure whoch is .ore disappointing, the sour taste of the deal being pulled or the inability to taste the tarts. Wish I did t have to write this review but it sure was not a feeling of They, "Do it Better" in my case it was the worse negotiation experince for me from and Dodge deal I ever tried to make. Best wishes if you decide to buy, and I truely hope your experinces are better then how I felt.
