I still bought them, although I was disappointed they were incomplete and only had 4 napkins instead of 8. When I got home, I realized these were clearly returned items. The tags and brand labels had been cut off, which means they had likely already been used, washed, and returned by someone else. So Linda completely misled me about there being some "expensive brand," when in reality there was no visible brand at all. The entire interaction left a very bad feeling. Every time I use the things I bought that day, I will remember this unpleasant shopping experience. I honestly do not think I will return to this HomeGoods again because I do not want to deal with this kind of treatment or dishonesty from an employee.
